The Attachment Styles Mastery

Rate this book
Do all your relationships seem to follow the same pattern, no matter who you’re with? Do you encounter similar issues from relationship to relationship? Do you think you’ve found the one but worry that you’re doomed to relive the same relationship problems with them? No matter how much you want to have a problem-free relationship, it’s inevitable to run into some issues along the way. But when your problems keep repeating themselves and are damaging your bond with your partner, you will need to look beyond your current issues and dive deep into the past. In psychology, attachment theory explains adult relationships through the lens of parent-child relationships. According to this theory, we develop attachment patterns with parents and caregivers in early childhood that influence how we relate to others as adults. Your attachment styles can also determine the type of person you gravitate to in relationships, since you are looking to have your needs met in a certain way. This can sometimes result in destructive relationships if partners are unable to have their needs met in the way they prefer. If you want to have a better, healthier relationship than your previously disastrous ones, you will need to understand your partner’s attachment styles, as well as your own, and how these can interact in harmony. Perfect and easy read book

This book has unveiled in full all the sides and the points of attachment styles; the author has done a great work breaking through each point, starting from how to our childhood can crucially affect our adult attachment styles, a complete explanation of each attachment style, and how to define our's and our partner's style, the author has unveiled practical ways to change your attachment styles and adapt to certain characters, the best chapter and the one I most enjoyed is the pairing in relationships … example: how does it seem a relationship between a secure and anxious, points of strengths and weaknesses, and how to find the good balance and the stable rhythm to make it success … ( they are others pairings not only the secure and anxious ) the book is an absolute informative one. I really learn a lot from it, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
