After completing his last mission, Quinn Powell leaves the Navy SEALs behind to tackle what just might be his greatest challenge: claiming Kaley Woods. The woman is both his sister’s best friend and Quinn’s ultimate weakness, two things that would send any sane man running in the opposite direction. But he’s not the type to run.

When Kaley hears Quinn is coming home, she wonders if he’ll still affect her in the same way. Now that he’s living in her apartment, she has her answer. Everywhere she turns, he’s there—strong and intent—his effect on her more powerful than ever. She knows he’s returned in search of something. What she doesn’t realize is he’s determined to make her his … in every way possible.

Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

A quick hot read. The story was about Quinn, 35 and Kaley, 24.

Quinn's in love with Kaley for a very long time. She's his younger sister's best friend.

He wanted to get to know her better but his sister, Dorothy asked him to give Kaley a chance to live her life through college.

He was a Navy Seal and had his last mission. He's ready to make Kaley his. So he went back home and stayed with Dorothy and Kaley. Though Kaley didn't know about it. She's also in love with him but thought he's off limits.

Quinn gave her time to get adjust and comfortable with him. He spent his time with her, cooked for her, took good care of her. He'd tried slow but she always found ways to be away from him. So he did something and found out she needed a man who took charge. And that's what he did.

The story was all about Quinn and Kaley getting to know each other and becoming a couple. There's no epilogue but I took the ending as my little epilogue.

He's wanted his sister's best friend for years, now out of the military he's determined to make her his.

Heroine is shy, virginal and doesn't realise how beautiful she is 🙄

I was expecting a hot little read with a yummy hero/alpha, sadly this read was a let down and didn't have me sinking into my couch.

Alpha man pretending to be beta in order to seduce the woman he's wanted for years? Bah! A true alpha man doesn't do that, he just goes after what he wants with a vengeance and you'd better get out of the way. Quinn, you were a letdown. :(

Cute story that is very hot without being too explicit. They had a great relationship and even when he goes behind her back he comes clean with it. He is honest and loving. A man every woman wants as a husband and father. Great read for me. Just too short but their romance was slow moving and when he felt she was ready he moved forward with his feelings for her. Loved it. Keeper.

I got the book from the author and Paranormal Romance & Authors That Rock in exchange for an honest review.

Quinn’s Virgin woman is part of the alpha series but can be read as a standalone. It talks about Quinn, an early thirties Navy Seal that is returning home to claim the girl loves. Quinn has been waiting for Kaley all his life but since she isn’t not only 10 years younger than him but also his sister’s best friend and the honorary child of his parents, he can’t help but follow their advices and give her time to enjoy life before the starts charming her. She needed time and he couldn’t stand temptation for too long so he left town to join the Navy but now that she is twenty-four, a grown up woman, he will accept no one’s objections to his pursuing. She has always been his. She just hasn’t figured out yet.

This story is told not only by Quinn but also by Kaley. It makes total sense because there is always a different side to every story, specially a love story. I must admit that I could relate to some point with Kaley. She is a young woman that, to some point is hiding herself from the word with clothes a little too big for herself and tons of excuses in order not to truly let anyone in but her best friend, to a certain point, of course. Kaley wants no one to know about her naughty side. She is the intellectual type so if people knew she loves to read and write novels about alpha males and sexy encounters, they will never see her in the same way again. Her character is realistic but she is way too oblivious to Quinn’s feelings. I loved Quinn’s character and I really think he should get a prize for the outstanding patience he had with Kaley and the pressure that his sister and parents put on him. It was funny reading about Mister Tough Navy Seal struggling not to grab Kaley and kiss the living day lights out of her until she accepted that they are meant to be together.

The novel is quite a short read but the plot is pretty good. Sometimes when reading a short novel, it is common to feel as if something was missing, things happened way to fast, or were forced. However, that is not the case with this novel. The book was pretty realistic and it was easy to visualize what the author was trying to portray. There were times when I wanted to scream at our heroine for being too oblivious and causing the guy too much trouble. I also wanted to smack Quinn’s arms and tell him to stop acting like the big brother/friend of Kaley and confess his feelings for her but he insists that he was to prepare the ground before making the confessions so she doesn’t run a thousand miles away from him like he has been doing since they met.

I don’t think I have a least favorite part of the story. I would have loved a love triangle, though. However, it would have been too cruel for Quinn since he had loved Kaley almost all her life. I do have a favorite part but I can’t tell you what it is since it is almost at the end of the novel. I am sorry but I don’t like to do spoilers. What I can tell you is that you need to get ready for a little twist in Quinn’s attitude. You will see a charming and handsome guy turning into a sexy alpha in the blink of an eye. Actually, it took a little longer but you catch my meaning.

This book contains some sexy scenes but the mature content isn’t exaggerated to young adults can read it as well. I assure you the mix between romance, comedy and hot scenes is balance and enjoyable. I loved it and couldn’t put it down until I finished. Hopefully, that will happen to you as well.

This book is the perfect example of why I am a HUGE fan of author Sam Crescent! Quinn has loved Kaley for years but became a SEAL to give her time to go to college and live a little before settling down. Of course, Kaley doesn't know that Quinn has loved her for years, she thought it was all one sided. Quinn is now ready to claim his woman and with his sister's help, her love as well. I loved this sweet yet very sexy story with its wonderful blend of romance, humor and sexual chemistry. The building of Quinn and Kaley's relationship was so engrossing and endearing. I was eagerly turning the pages to see how their story would unfold. I highly recommend this wonderful story by an amazing author.

Quinn’s Virgin Woman by Sam Crescent was a great story. It was a great story of someone who has loved from afar and has decided it was time to let his love interest know. Kaley and Quinn are a cute couple and made for a great story.

Quinn was ten years older than his sister Dorothy, but it’s her best friend Kaley that he’s always had his eye on. While Quinn had wanted to stake his claim and make Kaley his in every way when she turned eighteen, Dorothy had convinced Quinn to let Kayley enjoy college and have her life for a while. Reluctantly Quinn had waited another six years, but now he needed Kayley to learn and know exactly who she belonged to – and that he was hers in every way.

This is a steamy and enjoyable quick read. While I admit the plotline is a little cliched and worn to me – older guy is in love with his little sister’s best friend but they’ve both been keeping their distance and waiting for each other – I felt the three main characters were refreshing and individual enough to make this a really fun and entertaining story to me.

Kaley was the typical young and shy book nerd – and I was extremely grateful the author didn’t just turn her from this sweet thing and into a sexy siren in the blink of an eye for no real reason except to steam up the storyline. Kaley was more multi-dimensional than just the usual “bookworm” character and this was really appealing to me. I also really liked the fact that Quinn was trying hard to give Kaley as much time and space as he could, but that there was a limit to how far he was willing to wait.

I was impressed that the author didn’t just have these two do a complete about face – jumping into the sheets and become kinky sex masters without any build up or reason behind it. The pace of Kaley and Quinn coming together was believable and I enjoyed the fact it was well detailed and explained – I felt it was really shown to me, not just told and I needed to accept it as such.

Finally, I was intrigued by some of Quinn’s other Navy SEAL team-mates and would be interested to see if Dorothy and one of them might feature in an upcoming story. I liked that the author left the door open for more stories potentially coming down the track and will be keeping an eye out for them.

Fun, sexy and with interesting characters this was a good short story.

This is a rerelease of a previous story that the author wrote.

Quinn knew from the moment he saw Kaley all grown up that she would be his but his family convinced him to let her grow up more and experience life before going after her. He joined the military, Navy Seals, and left for his tour. Now he's back home and more determined than ever to have Kaley and make her his. She's very shy, very quiet and seems to be nervous around him. I loved that he took his time and didn't overwhelm her. Will it work? The story is fairly short but there is a lot of emotion packed into it. Really a great story!

I hate how all the people made decisions for her, nothing felt natural, i dunno, if it was only the H taking care of her then i would've liked it, but his parents and sister involvement? nah. Even if he didn't do nothing bad i still didn't like a h like her. To shy,to closed of, no life at all.

I would give this zero stars if I could... Writing style was awful but I could have overlooked that for a good storyline.

I adore author Sam Crescent and the alpha heroes she creates. In Quinn’s Virgin Woman she has a Navy Seal named Quinn. Quinn is a planner. He is not afraid to have some patience, and to visualize what he wants. He goes after it with both hands. Who he wants now is Kaley. Well he has always wanted her. He just needed to give her time to grow up. Now he is done waiting. Time to set the plan into action.
Kaley is a bookworm, shy works at the library. Her one naughty pleasure is writing steamy erotic stories on her lap top. She has never done any of them but she would like to one day. She has always wanted Quinn but thought he was out of league. That is until he starts making her fantasies come true.
I liked the heat and passion inside this story. Quinn is a true alpha with a kind heart and determination that kept me reading and wondering what he would do next. Kaley more than deserved a man who was willing to go the extra mile for her.
When you want your Alpha to be kind, gentle, and hotter than sin this is the book to pick up.

>Review – Quinn's Virgin Woman -

>I received this book from the author and Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock. I am an independent reviewer. This book is another novella in the ARe Alpha Series and ends in an HEA.

>Quinn is a Navy Seal, retiring to return home to make his move on his sister's best friend, Kaley. Quinn has been in love with Kaley for years, but waited for her to finish college before declaring himself. Fortunately, the Seals kept him busy.

>Kaley has always been friends with Dorothy and has always had a crush on Quinn. Kaley is painfully shy, hiding behind large clothes, glasses and books. She is so nervous in Quinn's presence, she rarely talks. Quinn is having none of that and sets off on a seduction to make Kaley his.

>The scenes where Quinn is trying to just watch tv and not frighten Kaley are so romantic and sweet. When they finally get together, the romance explodes. This is a hot, short read that delivers a great story with a lot of sexy, romantic love.

>This book is recommended for an adult (18+) audience.

Aiiii que livro fofinho! *-*

Absolutely loved it! I liked Quinn from the start. He sounded like a stand up guy that you just fell in love with. And then there's Kaley, quit and reserved. Totally opposite of Quinn. With the help of Quinn's sister and a little snooping on his part he finally finds away to approach Kaley and make her his. Again I loved it and the characters worked well together bringing out different quality's in each other! A must read!

Enjoyed!! Storyline is short, fast paced and sweet. Quinn left home and joined the Navy Seals in order to allow Kaley his sister's best friend time to grow up and live. But the waiting is over. Quinn is back home and now ready to claim Kaley as his own only she doesn't know it yet. Kaley has a secret crush on Quinn but doesn't feel she is his type. Lovable characters and chemistry. Wished it was longer.

I was really excited to read this book. I loved the concept and the characters and I loved the storyline but from when Quinn arrived to try and get close to Kaley it was too rushed. There was not enough build up to the relationship. They had great chemistry but when one person is pursuing another in the way that Quinn was to Kaley the build is so important and there was so much potential in this story but for me it was disappointing and short!

good

This was a good story but it was too short so it moved too fast and seemed rushed. I loved the plot and characters, as who doesn't love a really curvy woman and a hot alpha male, but it was just too choppy!

Good short, steamy and very sweet HEA. I've read other books by this author before and liked them. In this one, the heroine is a bit too timid for my taste. Quinn is a hottie though! Story seemed a little too short. Very sweet romance in spite of the explicit sex.

Dumb chick blind to the amount of behind the screen manipulation. Hate these kinds of stories where everyone else seems to know what's best of the poor female lead. Why tell her anything when we can just plan her life out for her?
