Biker Jett Lowell knows rescued wolf shifter Sam is his mate. He just doesn't know if Sam is capable of taking his lifestyle as a biker, and his needs when it comes to love in stride. So he's stayed away for the better part of the year, which has been tough in more ways than one, since Sam has been staying with Jett's family. He missed them all, but when Sam starts talking about striking out on his own, Jett knows he has to act.
Former "worthless one" Sam knows he's not as fragile or scared as Jett thinks he is, despite his rough start in life. When he and his brothers and sister were rescued, Sam fell for Jett, and he knows what he wants, just not how to get it. Determined to become someone worthy of Jett, Sam starts making plans, but that pushes Jett to make his move. Sam meets Jett passion for passion. It's not the bedroom that sends Sam running. It's the noisy biker den Jett runs, and the rough men who remind Sam of his earlier life. Can they find a way to compromise and be the solid couple they both long to become?

The books in this series have been just ok so far... The way the Alpha/omega relationship is portrayed continues to bother me. The omega are portrayed as being less than equal fully capable adults which I find demeaning. Add to that the proofreading issues and it makes me consider skipping book 3. (Have decide to skip book 3, the positives of reading Ryder's story just are outweighed by the uneasy feeling it would give me. Maybe in the future I will attempt it. Honestly, if this was the first series I read of this author's it would have also been my last. So glad it wasn't since everything else I have read of her stuff was excellent!
I liked the first book for a quick, sweet read. This one was disappointing. Jett was kind of a dick. Sam was super sweet, and Jett thought he’d be too rough, so he ignores him for a year.
Jett finally realizes Sam is good for him, they get together... and Jett is still a dick. And Sam just thought it was ok and he’d make do with whatever Jett could give him. It was sad and depressing. Of course at some point (very, very late in the book) Jett realizes he needs to change his priorities, but even then I feel like it’s more because of what HE wants and has nothing to do with what Sam deserves or needs.
Overall, I feel like Sam was awesome and sweet and would bend over backwards for anyone, and Jett remained a self-centered guy who I didn’t much like. He ever redeemed himself in my eyes, and this is the first book where I feel like the whole fated mates thing had fate making a mistake.
I enjoyed this one way more than the first one. Sam had a very hard life, his packed abused him. Jett is a dom & is afraid in hurting Sam, but he is his mate & there is no way he was going to hurt Sam. Jett does fight against the mating, but Sam has the patience of Job. Jett doesn't do a bunch of bonehead moves, but when he finally gets his head out of his a$$ they made a perfect couple. I was so very happy to see them get their hard fought HEA. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
ARC provided by Gay Romance Reviews in exchange for an honest review.
I liked the first book in the series better and this one made me want to see who is Ryder's mate.half the book I just wanted to smack Jett in the head.enjoyable enough in the end
Disappointing after Book 1. Jett wasn't physically nor emotionally available. He didn't have a strong mate pull. He wasn't protective of Zane. Everyone else took care of Zane, even after Jett mated him. Jett had to be pretty stupid if he couldn't manage his MC gang. And Zane was just a door mat for Jett, almost battered woman syndrome believing he didnt deserve better. Yes, the sex was hawt but it didn't make up for the lack of relationship and weak MCs.
I didnt read the first of the series, as such when I read this book, I wanted to shake Jett on numerous occasions.
He pushed Sam away because he assumed he would be too rough for him. But then when he decided to give into his need for Sam he put everyrhing else ahead of him.
After whatever Sam went through with his old pack, he decides not be a bother or ask for much. So he finds 3 jobs to give himself his own space.
This is the second in a series, and while it works as a standalone, it’s worth reading the first for context on the supporting characters, as well as the backstories of Jett and Sam. Sam is smart, hardworking, kind, and driven. He survived a terrifying experience with his first pack, but he’s a functional adult who can take care of himself. Jett is his mate, something the both know but Jett fights against, for a variety of reasons. First, he’s convinced Sam is too fragile to handle him. Then he prioritizes everything else in his life-- the motorcycle club he runs, his bar, etc.-- above his mate. While there’s not doubt that he genuinely loves Sam, and his mistakes come from his own ignorance -- of Sam’s nature, of his own feelings, of how to prioritize and balance work and love-- it can be hard while reading not to be seriously annoyed with Jett for Sam’s sake. Sam, thankfully, has the patience of a saint. And Jett, when he figures things out and gets his act together, is exactly the kind of protective and loving alpha that Sam wants and needs, rough edges and all. Tl;dr: Sam is awesome, Jett has issues, but overall it definitely feels good to see Sam get the mate, and HEA, he deserves..
*I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review*
The biker brother, Jett is the main Alpha in the Second book of the Alpha Triplets. Unfortunately, he deliberately made a point of denying his mate Sam, one of the traumatized Omegas rescued in the First book of the series. It was because of his biker lifestyle, but more so his intimate proclivities that made the Alpha feel he was wrongly suited for the Omega who no doubt was suffering from PTSD. He didn't intend to hurt the Omega any further. Only that's exactly what his rejection ended up doing.
His brother Derek, his mate, and other brother Ryder were really upset with Jett. He was fighting on too many fronts against himself his mate who definitely wanted him, his family, his best friend and business partner, and the bikers he was presiding over. The tug in so many directions made him crazy and he couldn't think straight.
I felt so bad for his Omega. Sam felt ugly, worthless, and rejected. He had a very close relationship with Jetts family and his Arctic Wolf brother, Ethan, as well as the other rescued Omegas, but that wasn't enough. None of them were his fated mate. Jett has to Man Up and become the Alpha that Sam deserves. It takes a while, but gradually he begins moving in that direction. This book does have a happy ending despite the angst and mistakes.
I really enjoyed reading this somewhat emotional MM shifter romance & it is a splendid addition to the “Alpha Triplets” series. It can be read as a standalone but I would suggest reading “Hunter’s Moon #1”to fully understand the underlying storyline & the character crossovers. The plot is entertaining with just the right amount of intrigue & emotional turmoil to keep the reader’s attention. The characters are well-developed & interesting with distinctive, individual personalities and have attributes of loyalty & determination when faced with certain situations. It is about: a hard-working male wolf shifter (Sam) with memories of a traumatic past has a problem with his mate (a biker & wolf shifter, Jett) who has made a very unwise decision to prioritize his bar & MC club before Sam. There is: wolf shifters, bear shifters, rogues, mates, drama, intrigue, mild suspense, some twists, humour, conflict, violence, friendship, comradery, jealousy, misunderstandings, disagreements, memories, complications, fear, insecurities, decisions, loneliness, compromises, some kink, steamy scenes & a satisfying happy conclusion.
This is book 2 of the Alpha Triplets series by Minerva Howe. This book is about Jett, the head of the biker club. Jett has been ignoring Sam for the last year, since the rescue of Ethan’s brother and the other wolves from the rogue pack. He is worried that Sam is too delicate and can’t handle him. Sam is confused and actually thinking about leaving since Jett obviously doesn’t want to be his mate. The only thing keeping him there is his love for Ethan, Derek, Ryder and the others who were rescued. These two have issues they need to work through. Sam has some PTSD and Jett isn’t used to thinking things through. Jett quickly learns that he needs to start thinking about how to treat a mate and reorganize his priorities if he wants to be honest with both himself and Sam. This was such a good book! Jett and Sam were so good together even before Jett realized he shouldn’t fight fate! I really enjoy Minerva’s characters. Both guys have several layers and they have to work together in order to figure things out. This book is really good but you need to read book 1 before you read this one.
Since I haven't read the first I was kinda lost in this 2nd one. This book is told from both m/m points of view. The mating emotion is felt and acknowledged by both men but Jett (alpha) fears that his sexual proclivities are just too intense for Sam (omega) as this omega comes across as naive and innocent. Jett has his priorities all mixed up as he puts his MC club and even his bar ahead of his reluctant claiming of Sam. Sam is not as innocent or naive as Jett believes he is though Sam does feel that Jett's rejection of their mating is because Sam thinks Jett doesn't want him as he (Sam) is just a freaky white weak wolf. It is up to Sam to set Jett straight and this is where the fun of this story comes into play. the secondary characters are intriguing: Zake and Tam, to name two. Each of these triplet alphas are so emotionally different that it's challenging to see how each alpha's lives are evolving. There is a HEA for these two and I look forward to Ryder's story. I was given an ARC for my honest review.
Thunder Moon by author Minerva Howe is the second book in the Triplets series. I loved this addition to the series. This story can be read as a stand-alone title. I love this series and am reading it in order.
Jett is a protective man. He knows he likes his sex rough. He is a wolf triplet and a really good man. He is loyal, strong, and brave.
Sam has been through hell and back. Sam is apprenticing as a piercer. He is tired of Jett treating him like he is nothing to him. Mates are sacred and Sam is getting tired of waiting on his to decide he is worthy of being wanted.
I liked that Sam is strong. He is not going to be pushed around by anyone. He might be physically weaker than Jett but he is mentally and emotionally a lot stronger than even he knows.
Overall, this is a great story. I saw growth in both men in this story. There is plenty of heat to keep me turning the pages as well.
I cannot wait for more from this series and to see what happens next.
Sam was a really great character, so easy to love. He'd been through hell, but he was fighting to overcome his fears. I loved his determination and strength. Jett was a fool to avoid Sam for so long. He thought that Sam wouldn't be able to handle being mated to someone who enjoyed the things he did. In my opinion, Jett was the one who fell short at being a good mate. The fact that his brothers had no problem pointing this out to him was great. When it came to sex, these two had no issues, but outside of that, Jett was failing to be the alpha Sam deserved. He did finally get his priorities straightened out. Once he set things in motion to make a change, everything fell into place like it should have been. The pack that they had of family and friends was amazing. I loved all the side characters in the book, they really added something special to it.
Oh, you have Got to read this series! Ginger alpha triplets, rescued omegas, fated mates, loyal friends, tattoos, and bikers. What more could you ask for! As the first book followed Derek & Ethan, this one follows Jett and Sam. They are fated. Jett just needs to get his bearded head out of his butt, and realize Sam isn't as fragile as he thinks. Is the sex hot... ooh yeah! This is a non-stop sexy, if bumpy, romp. Come. Join them as they grow together. In the end, they will discover that family is everything. You are so going to love this book! I am about to start the last book. Can't wait. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
Excellent story that didn't quite go the way I expected which I loved. If you consider Sam's background, it would be logical if he were the one resisting the mating with Jett, but it is actually the other way around. Jett worries about coming on too strong and hurting Sam both physically and emotionally and just like in the "real" world, Jett is a workaholic who initially focuses on his outside life rather than actually talking to Sam like an adult. Their struggles to be togther are believable and interesting, the heat level between them is off the charts and I cheered when they finally got in sync and got their HEA. I am really enjoying this series and look forward to the next entry.
Jett had been avoiding spending time with Sam for the past year, he knew they were mates but he thought that Sam was too small and gentle for him. He didn't think that he could be what Sam needed after his awful life with the rogue pack that his BDSM lifestyle was more than Sam could handle, that fate had got it wrong this time...But he's miserable, he's avoiding his family so that he doesn't have to see Sam. But a year has passed and the feelings have just grown stronger! Lots at angst and drama along with heat and passion and....kink. loved the second book of the series.
Jett is a triple born on the Hunters Moon. He’s also a biker and likes it rough. He knows Sam is his mate but doesn’t think Sam can handle what Jett wants. Sam believes he’s worthless. He works two jobs, and he knows he’s not as fragile as Jett believes. They have been dancing around each other for the last year with Jett always hiding. Jett finally decides he’s over the dance and decided to move on forcing Jett to do something about it! There is lots of steam in the story line. They have an instant connection. This was super quick, fun read. Definitely recommend. I am voluntarily leaving a review form an ARC that I received. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.
I didn't read the first book and went into this series just based on the blurb. It's a quick-ish read and I did like the story.
Jett basically 'deny' his mate because he likes him too much and didn't think his mate could cope with his preferences in the bedroom and his biker lifestyle. When he couldn't take it anymore, he mated Sam but while he loved all the bedroom stuff, Sam's past trauma causes him to be unable to cope with the biker lifestyle. However his love for Jett made him try very hard to make life as easy as possible for the both of them. Jett did manage to pull himself together and figure out what's good for them both so it does end with an HEA.
Continued storyline with triplet #2, Jett, the motorcycle-riding, tattooed, bar owner. He knows his mate is Sam, a wolf they rescued a year ago in book one, but he's afraid of hurting Sam and stays away. Ugh, lots of alpha testosterone and a lot of sex. A good read for sexy times but not a whole lot of actual story.
Of course, I'll be reading book 3 because I gotta know who triplet Ryder eds up with.
KU, paranormal, wolf shifter, book in series, PwoP, spanking, Alpha/Omega?
This book to me was a little more chill than the previous one. This book focused on getting Jett to come around to Sam being his fated mate. It was funny seeing this tough biker run/avoid Sam. All because he thought Sam was an innocent guy that wouldn't be able to handle what he had to dish out. For his part, Sam was great. He knew and accepted that Jeff was his mate and tried to get Jett attention. Watching Sam make Jeff jealous was also entertaining. This story was great to see Jett's life as a biker and how he had to choose between his biker life and Sam.
Sam and Jett were very sweet together, however, they had a very rough start and really had quite a bit to work on, but eventually everything came together for them in the most heartfelt way. Jett had his fears about Sam (who has been through so much) being able to handle him sexually (he liked a bit of BDSM) so he waited awhile before initiating the relationship. Their puppy piles with the pack were also extremely adorable. Excellent story.
I loved how sweet Jett was with Ethan in book one and how they all came together to protect him and save the others! But now he’s afraid Sam can’t handle his alpha the way he is! Sam has loved Jett for a whole year and waited for him to see he loves him for who he is! These two men finally come together and when they do the chemistry is off the charts! They run into some bumps but they figure it out & they get their happy ending! I can’t wait for Ryders book!!!😀❤️
Jett and Sam are fated mates but Jett keeps fighting the pull between them because he feels like Sam can't handle his lifestyle and his preferences. But the chemistry and connection between them is impossible to deny and when it finally explodes, it is spectacular. They really are great together but they will each have to compromise if they want to truly have their HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Good Follow up. The story was well told. Jett and Sam had quite good chemistry. Only problem I reallyhad was Jett's relationship to the bikers. I know he mentions he joined to piss Ryder off and cause of the landlord thing but it seemed like he really didn't enjoy it all so it seemed those were really kinda weak reasons. I wish there had been more into that side of things.
Thunder Moon by Minerva Howe is the second book in the Alpha Triplets series. This one is Jett and Sam's story and I really enjoyed seeing tgem figure out how to overcome obstacles and embrace what is meant to be. These characters are amazing and the writing is done well. Entertaining, with lots of feeling.
I enjoyed reading how Sam finally got his big sexy biker Jett to see the light and claim his mate. Once they finally got together there seemed to be things and people trying to keep them apart but you can't stop mates from finding away to be together. This series is so good and I enjoy the way characters from book 1 plays a part in this one and I know the next book where Ry gets his mate will be just as good. I volunteered to review this Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
Sam is trying to put his life back together after being rescued from a rogue pack. Jett knew from the moment he saw Sam that he was his mate, but fearing his desires would be too much he has avoided Sam in an effort to protect him. This was a very touching story of mates connecting and overcoming the obstacles caused by fears and insecurities. I really enjoyed this book book and the way Jett and Saw worked for their relationship.
I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review.
Great book. Sam and Jett have been avoiding each other for a while. Jett thinks that Sam is too young and he can't handle his sexual aggression. Sam is sweet, kind and had a rough life with his previous pack. Once Sam and Jett get together, Sam proves that he handle Jett in every. The book is seen from both point of views and its romantic, steamy and I enjoyed it.
