Dark Survivor Awakened
This was a strange new world she had awakened to. Her memory loss must have been catastrophic because almost nothing was familiar. The language was foreign to her, with only a few words bearing some similarity to the language she thought in. Still, a full moon cycle had passed since her awakening, and little by little she was gaining basic understanding of it--only a few words and phrases, but she was learning more each day. A week or so ago, a little girl on the street had tugged on her mother's sleeve and pointed at her. "Look, Mama, Wonder Woman!" The mother smiled apologetically, saying something in the language these people spoke, then scurried away with the child looking behind her shoulder and grinning. When it happened again with another child on the same day, it was settled. Wonder Woman must have been the name of someone important in this strange world she had awoken to, and since both times it had been said with a smile it must have been a good one. Wonder had a nice ring to it. She just wished she knew what it meant.

This is Anundur's and Wonder's story.

Wonder wakes up in a cavern in Alexandria Egypt emaciated and mind scrambled, she doesn't know who she is. She adopts the name Wonder after children pointed at her and called her Wonder Woman. Wonder is statuesque and can put a dude on the ground. But who is she? Why was she in the cavern? The questions plague her while she tries to learn this new world she woke up in. She makes it to America by stowing away on a passenger ship and she finds numerous cleaning jobs, until the club she worked at finds out her incredible strength and fighting skills. Then she is a bouncer. She has her meet cute with Anandur working in that capacity.

If you read the prequel, you would have suspicion of who the woman is, but suffice it to say Wonder survived the cataclysm by not being at ground zero when Mordth crashed into the city with his loaded flying machine.

I loved Wonder, and I'm glad she's with Anandur he's a nice guy and I know he'll take good care of her.

I love these books, they are perfect for me divided into small bite size chapters. I like to read all the trilogies together to make sure I have the whole story.

I would have given this a five star but I didn't like what the clan did to Nick. They did something without his knowledge or consent, and even though he may have accepted they didn't even ask. Yuck.

Despite that, I read these three books in three days. This author never fails to catch my attention and draw me into the story.

I have now read them all . I read them too fast and am going back and reading them again. This is my first time reading in this genre. It has probably spoiled me . The favorites are, of course, Dark Stranger and Dark Survivor. Ms. Lucas, your imagination is incredible. I do honor you. Thank you. Melanie Turner, Arlington, VA

Amazing series

This is an fabulous series, I thought I would grow bored of reading one book after the other of this huge series but each time I finish one I can’t wait to read the next. Well done for keeping them so interesting and using the same characters when introducing new ones. Highly recommend.

I am ABSOLUTELY ADDICTED to this series! I thought I would get bored with reading so many books in the series, but I find myself looking forward to reading them each day. This author seems to paint the pictures in my head, which makes all the characters just come alive. Ms Lucas is indeed a very talented storyteller.

Supernatural romance and fantasy

I have enjoyed this entire series but especially liked this trilogy about Anandur and his mate. It builds on the flashback about Annanni's origin story and while there is some conflict most of the story is lighter and more romantic. The story of Eva and her employee Nick are continued as well. Looking forward to the next story.

I have read the series from Book One (Dark Stranger) through book 46! This is the best paranormal romance series I have ever read. Even better than the Shade series by B. Forrest! I read them all since the beginning of the summer till Oct 27 2021

As always, Isabel is a writing genius and keeps this series fresh and moving forward. In this wonderful trilogy, Anandur, the heart of the clan, finds his true love. Instead of Annani being just the goddess, her true self is revealed. Super interesting read! This the best series I have ever read!

My favorite trilogy so far in the series

I absolutely love Wonder and Andurs story. I love how Wonder finds out who she is. I love the Goddess and her find each other again. I can't wait to find out what happens with Wonders sister and the other Goddess. I literally couldn't this book down. The only complaint I had was Wonder didn't tease Andur about her being way older than him by 3000 years especially when he made such a big deal about her age in the beginning. After a sleep break ill pick back up with the next book in the series.
