Wicked fantasies made Kiera famous, but in the Boundarylands the only thing they’ll make her an alpha’s possession.

In the beta world, the sexy alpha romances Kiera McIntyre pens under a fake name are strictly forbidden. Of course, that’s only made her readers want them more. When a nasty case of writer’s block threatens her livelihood, she decides to a covert research trip might refill her creative well.

Unfortunately for Kiera, there are no such things as secrets in the Boundarylands, and it’s only a matter of time before a massive alpha with piercing blue eyes sees right through her deception to the dangerous desires underneath…and decides to bring every one of them to life.

Welcome to the Boundarylands. It's where they are—the Alphas. They keep to themselves in the wilderness, and beta civilization knows to keep its distance—especially beta women…for fear they may not be a beta after all. Omegas may be rare, but every woman knows their fates are hellish—held captive, broken, mated, knotted, and bred.

Trace is the thirteenth book in The Boundaryland Omegaverse, a hot new ABO romance series featuring knotting, heats, and possession. Wear gloves, cause this sh*t is hot.

what the heck!! What happened to the steamy bits? I love this little omegaverse series but why have you started skipping the heats. I think, if I remember correctly, you've skipped them a couple more times in the later few books. Why? That's one of the best parts of OV. duh!! Give us the slick and knots man 🤣🤪💯

Trace de Callie Rhodes serie The Boundarylands libro 13

Argumento:

It was OK.

Sadly I didn't quite get along with this addition to the series. I didn't like that the heat wasn't included but just fade to black, and that there was only one good scene of happy time.
Was a bit tame for me tbh.

I am also missing babies. Omegas are supposed to be very fertile, but so far we haven't had any babies in the Uplands. :(

This may have been my least favorite in the series so far. I didn't connect with Trace or Keira and I found Keira absolutely annoying. They had the least amount of chemistry IMO.

LOVEEE

I love when the main character is a steamy romance author in a steamy romance. The parallel is just too funny. 5/5⭐️ 2.5/5🌶🔥

I liked Trace and Kiera, I thought that they balanced each other out. The second half of the story was better than the first.

Overall, pretty ok.

This series has been generally a 4-5 star quick and steamy read every time a new one comes out. This one just... Wasn't. It's still quick and easy but the steam is almost all fade to black and the overall series arch was just a blip in the background.

I actually really enjoyed the comfort and anxiety calming aspect, I loved that gentleness and protective streak in Trace and that saved the book for me. I adored how he handled her anxiety and calmed her heart. That made the 3.5 stars for this one.

Otherwise it was just a short, simple plot without the steam to carry it.

Fluctuation

The reason i didn't particularly enjoy this book were the heroine herself, and the constant thread of "becoming an omega will make me a traitor to all womankind." Kiera's shame and insecurity were vexing. As this is currently the last book,i will write my thoughts on the entire series. Overall, not the best omegaverse series i have ever read. The world of the alphas was bleak, and solitary and harsh. The territorial-ness was driven to death in almost every book. Every book had a heroine filled with misconceptions and misinformation, which gets repetitive after FOURTEEN books. Every heroine had a "men ain't crap" attitude, which also gets old when it is reiterated every 3 pages for FOURTEEN books. Each book had a hero destroying some literal wood in his attempt to rein in his ardor. I think the last two heros were the only ones who weren't constantly crying about tresspassers on their property, and what a huge no-no it was. For an omegaverse, these were hecka slow burn, with adult times often coming up at 75% into the book. Speaking of those adult times-not very interesting or spicy. There is the tepid omega change encounter,a "she woke up four days later with tangled hair" sentence, and later another boring scene where claiming occurs. A four day heat is just glossed over EVERY time. I also have tons of questions. Roman seems capable of maintaining out of the border interests,as did another alpha whose sister made him a christmas sweater. Why can't everyone else? A few of the ladies had pretty substantial lives before the boundaryland. Mari got in contact with her people, and she barely had people. Why are everyone's cars garbage, ill maintained pieces of junk? How did kiera get a printer with no electricity? I like a broody, alpha hero, but these guys were all kind of harsh, with very little give to their demeanors. I would have prefered for them to loosen up a LITTLE after being mated. Mellow out a bit more with others, not just at home. They were still really rude to each other and the other omegas. This book was okay, not terrible, but overall the series was a roller coaster of good and bad writing, with the issues i pointed out here, plus in another review, affecting *my* enjoyment of the series as a whole. WHEW!!! RANT OVER!! LOL!! :-)

An enjoyable omegaverse romance.

This romance was fun. I really liked the Alpha hero a lot, though the constant shame and poor self esteem experienced by the omega heroine was not enjoyable to read for me. As a consequence, I liked her much less than most of the other omega heroines in this series. I was also disappointed that there were not more sexy discipline scenes in this romance, considering the fact that the heroine was supposed to be a submissive. I felt like that was a missed opportunity on the part of the author. Even with those issues, I did enjoy it quite a bit. I loved the thought of the author heroine writing banned and illegal fiction starring Alphas as romance novel heroes. It expanded the world building of how totalitarian beta society really is in this universe. Reading this novel was an enjoyable way to spend my morning.

This series is incredibly addictive!

Trace: The Boundarylands Omegaverse: M/F Alpha Omega Romance (Book 13 of The Boundarylands Omegaverse: M/F Alpha Omega Romance) by Callie Rhodes is deliciously addictive! Seven feet tall, Sculpted like Greek Gods, Hung Alphas~Check. Feisty, Beautiful, Brave, Sex Craving Omegas~ Check. Hot, Wild, Alpha Knotting Omega Heat Sex lasting up to a week until the Omegas heat cycle is broken by slating their mating lust. The most sacred bond forms between them that no one & nothing can break once they claim each other with their Alpha-Omega Claiming Bite! And that’s just the description of their Primal Traits! Each book is based off of a Alpha awakening his Omega just by a single touch! Amazingly written, a must read for anyone who love reading about unbreakable love and always an HEA!

Hot!

Not only is the guy on the cover hot but so is the actual character. Trace is so kind, giving and very patient with Kiera.
She is an author who has come to the Boundarylands in order to try to get rid of her writer's block. She believes herself to be plain and mousy but she lives out her fantasies in writing banned books about Alpha/Omegas.
She has a skewed outlook on life because of her mother. Can Trace get past her defenses or will she leave the Boundarylands to return to life she knows?

Just can’t get enough!!

I have read every Boundryland book that has been released, practically the same day it comes out as I program the dates in my calendar! Each story is unique and I just love every Alpha and Omega dynamic. I usually can be found with a book hangover after the release date because I can’t put her stories down. I will be eagerly awaiting Vonns story and reading her other books while I’m waiting!

Disappointed

I always look forward to a new release in this series but unfortunately I was disappointed in Pixies story. No real storyline and I knew what was going to happen before it did because they follow the same storyline as previous books in this series. The first books in the series were original but now they read the same with only the names of the characters that are different. Its such a shame. I wont be buying anymore of this series.

I love this series. Trace and Kiera were a great couple. Kiera is a secret autbor who writes Smut about the Alphas. She comes to Boundrylands when she gets writers block.

Trace is the Alpha that runa the roadhouse. He catches Kiera watching an Alpha and a prostitute. He takes her tablet from her and makes her promise to come get it tomorrow.

Their relationship and her omega blossom from their second meeting.

Another great addition to the series. Can't wait to see who snares Vonn.

Fluffy goodness and hot as sin

Does not disappoint. This one is a little different than the rinse lather repeat some of the books have, but still follows the party line, in a good way. Anyways its a good romp and let's you forget your personal life for a bit. Also a few parts had me laughing out loud because of Keira's antics.

Amazing book!

Kiera writes naughty books about Alphas for the beta world. It is illegal, so she sells them under a pseudonym and under the table. She gets in a spot of trouble by watching something personal. Trace catches her and claims her. I enjoyed how Kiera embraced her fantasies and let Trace prove they really weren't shameful. Excellent series!

For someone that is supposed to be a mindless rutting beast/animal, Trace was surprisingly sweet and insightful with h's issues. h was my fav kind if heroine. She had a lot of inner strength and but got bogged down by societal expectations and insecurities. Very interested in vonn's story now, especially where I felt bad for him missing out on an omega.

Fantastic

I've thoroughly enjoyed this series although I did wonder if the writer was experiencing a little writers block with this one as I didn't feel it was quite as good as the others however I have just read the whole series during the last few days so perhaps it's just time for me to read something else. I will read the next book when it's released

Book I read in a few hours. Can't put these down. I like the characters even though the plot is almost non existent. Some books in this series are better than others but I always enjoy the how and why did the Betas to become Omegas go to the Boundarylands. Another good book. Happy reading.

Good read

I like the way Callie can create different stories from the same basic concepts. Each of her heroines have they’re own backstories and react differently to their change. Keira and Trace are a different couple as he has to help her acknowledge her pre existing needs. Recommend this book.

HEA
Series, but this one could be standalone

She's a romance writer of illegal books. She decided to take a trip to the land of the Alphas she writes about, especially after being told she is not an unawakened omega. Problem is, the test lied. She's about to find out first hand just how much of her books are true versus fiction.

Series does have issues of typos and editing errors.

It was a fun quick read to get back into the world. I’d gotten a bit sick of how repetitive the books had gotten but I enjoyed the little put yourself in the steamy book effect. Not loving how they are just like completely skipping the heat? Like is that not why we are here? Idk 3.5 but still solid writing and enjoy the characters/ world so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm still reading them, but unlike the first few and hit or miss along the way. They have started to feel shorter and shorter with no character building.. they meet, they fuck, it's over

I loved it. I was hoping it would get a little more kinky especially with a complete submissive but regardless I wasn't disappointed. Another great couple. I've been waiting for Trace to find his one and it was pretty awesome!

Show me don't tell me

I was looking forward to this one since the h was a writer of erotica. I felt like her heat was glossed over. The h lacked confidence and this story felt rushed.
