The Medium Explosion: A Guide to Navigating the World of Those Who Claim to Communicate with the Dead
The appearance of mediums, those who claim to be able to communicate with the dead, is not a recent phenomenon. Mediums have been practicing since the late 1800s, and in the Victorian Era had a strong presence throughout the United States and the world. However, we have never seen the sheer number of such practitioners that exist today. The media has contributed to this proliferation, as TV shows and films involving paranormal and spiritual themes have enjoyed great success.
But there is a problem. The overwhelming majority of mediums today cannot do what they claim. Some are frauds, others are inexperienced, and many delude themselves into believing that they have such ability. These practitioners have no business sitting with the bereaved and they can do great harm. On the other hand, there are some mediums that truly can speak to the dead, do so at a very high level of accuracy, and provide an invaluable service to those who have suffered the loss of a loved one.
This book provides a guide for all those who have either sat with a medium or intend to do so. You will learn what to expect, how to evaluate the information that you are told, and how mediums operate. The author includes commentary on evidence for life after death and includes personal accounts that are backed up by research.

This book is a must read before even booking an appointment with a medium!
I have to say that this book was wonderfully written and as a medium, it validated many things, even for me.
I love the pragmatic, ethical and logical approach that Robert takes. He explains his understanding from many years of experience, research and even his own grief.
I highly recommend this book if you are bereaved, and you are looking to seek out a medium.
Although the only thing I disagree with in this book is that Robert states that “1 out of every 8 or 9 mediums should call themselves a medium”, this book is GREAT! I just feel like most mediums have good intentions and are doing the work the right way. Other than that, his explanations are non bias and I feel they are more than just opinion, based on his extensive experience with FFF!
As a medium for only a few years, not only did it help me, most if not all of the information in this book is extremely accurate and well described!
I felt like there was such good intention in writing and publishing this book. He really is out for the people and I appreciate the fact that he looks at both sides of the coin and speaks to the skeptic and the believer.
I can’t recommend this book enough, and I suggest that anyone who seeks to work with a medium, reads this book first.
This book really is just that important to humanity, in order to deal with grief, and helping to try to somewhat understand the afterlife.
Even though there are some who abuse their gift as a medium, there are some really good ones out there who have amazing gifts. Reading this book will enable you to trust and find the right one for you!

A Joy To Read
Just finished reading Robert Ginsberg book and enjoyed his style of writing and especially his humor. I will definitely pursue a reading after getting more information from The Forever Family Foundation website.
