The Trial is over, and Adie and the guys won, but at what cost? Victor Hesse is still out there, and now the high-council’s guard dogs are sniffing around in the name of protecting them from the demon’s revenge. Will Adie’s friends and loved ones be safe under the council’s watch, or will everything she’s worked so hard to achieve come undone?
Part 6 of Succubus Undone.
Join Adie on her (mis)adventures toward achieving a quasi-normal life among humans.
Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Whether she's writing a fast burn romance about witches, wolf shifters, and vampires, or teasing a slow burn romance while hunting demonic monsters, her passion is for character driven novels.
Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.
Undone is the sixth installment in L.L. Frost’s Succubus Undone serial story arc of her Succubus Harem serial. When things were last left off Adie was dealing with a highly intense situation. Victor Hesse has brought the war he is waging against her and her men to a place that should be safe for her and the humans she caters to, but now all are at risk. Adie has just watched one of her men be killed and return to the demon plane. Now, the fight is on and Adie is going to need all hands on deck in this final installment and battle against Victor Hesse. Undone is the showdown between Adie and Victor Hesse and the proof that the “higher up” demons are simply about themselves at the end of the day. I have to say that this book is really intense. We don’t get a play by play with each of the characters as things happen, but I do like how Adie really shows her mettle in this book. She understands what is at stake, and she gears up to meet it head on. This book has some seriously good moments and I love the twists that are written in. They are so good!!! There are a couple moments of where the author teases readers as to whether all will work out in the end, but no need to worry, because the author wants Adie to have that good ending that we all want for her to have as well. When this book ended….I howled. LOL! I wanted more!! I at least wanted a little teaser/taste of what the future may look like for Adie, but I’m just going to have to wait. LOL! This story arc has really thrown some challenges at Adie, but I’m proud of her overcoming them and coming out a bit stronger in the end. She’s really making a name for herself and I can’t wait to see where things go from here. I am rating this installment a well-earned 5 out of 5 stars. Things don’t play out in the expected way with Victor Hesse, but they do play out in a satisfying way and I’m more than happy. If you have enjoyed this series to this point then I encourage you to pick up this installment and see how things come to an end for Adie in this arc.
I love how this series keep evolving. There were so many tense moments in the Undone serial that I couldn't take a break. I read all the serials for Undone in one sitting. Addie continues to be one of my all-time favorite fmc's. She is so fiercely loyal, and compassionate, and committed to her moral beliefs that despite being young and having limited support or encouragement from her "family", she's unbreakable. I was seriously worried in the beginning of this set that whatever Victor did may have been permanent. This arc will definitely keep you guessing. I loved seeing the relationship growth, I especially loved the "bottle" scene with Tobias. While he has always been hot in a growly dominant way, his decisions during that scene really leveled him up and put him in a new light. It's gonna be a long wait until March. While we definitely get some resolution by the end of this arc, I'm so eager to see what happens with the Library, Landregath, the Librarian, Julian. What happens with Emile and Tobias and Kellen? Do they have to move? Does the Detective help them with a cover story? What was Lord Marius hinting at when he said he needed Addie alive? There has got to be some resolution coming with Cassandra. That "b" has to go! If I know one thing it's that LL Frost can tell a damn good story, so however we get to these answers, it's going to be soooo good.
Victor Hesse is making his final move for power and it's more grand than ever imagined. Worse, the Council seems to be hiding from him instead of fighting. Worst, he wants Adie at his side. When Adie finds herself all alone, she knows she must end him to save everyone she loves, not to mention the world. Does Adie actually have a chance to defeat him? Hesse sure doesn't think so, but he targeted the wrong baby succubus for his plans. He'll soon see.
This has been one of my favorite story arcs for Adie and her demons. Adie's heart and courage were on full display and her demons finally let their feelings for Adie fully show. It was full of mysteries, Victor was a formidable foe, and Adie's wide variety of friends each rallied around her. I loved it. I've wanted imps for a while; now I sorta want an ignis demon too. There's still so much for Adie to do, find Landon and the Librarian, restore Julian, destroy Cassandra but for now it's time to take a break. Let Emil renovate!
This! This is the book I’ve been waiting for throughout the whole series! It took 43 of them...but this is the one! Adie and her friends save the day again, and FINALLY, she gets that full happy reunion with her demons. (Although, I would like to know how Emil got away from Cassandra and the Masters.) I honestly can’t wait to see what happens now with the witches and of course with Julian. I love this series soooo much!
Please read these are the best short stories. Lots of action suspense and love. 💖
On how I love these little stories. Every month in waiting for my fix on Addie. Boo Pond. And her demons. So much is packed into the stories you just want the next month to come so you can find one what is going to happen next. Enjoy your break L.L.Frost can't wait for March's episode.
This installment had me jumping, screaming, and crying. I was expecting it to leave me waiting until next month, but I feel at peace. Seriously! LL Frost- I hope you have a good month off and I cannot wait to read the next serial, Reborn. You have opened up a whole new world for me. Thank you.
Whoa! I wasn't expecting any of this! An epic conclusion to Adie's journey. While I really enjoyed the story I am super hopeful that the story will continue. I'm not ready to say goodbye.
Great story, and I loved the end of this arc. I loved how Addie defeated the zombie demon, and how she stood up to the deomon council. I greatly look forward to finding out how Addie continues her adventures.
This last book ended just as great as the rest of the series. L.L. Frost really knows how to write a short story from start to finish and leave wanting more. Can't wait for the next segment in March!
Ms Frost concludes this leg of Adie's adventure with thrilling action. The world building and atmosphere setting is wonderful. The descriptions of magic are fascinating. The dialogue is witty and clever. The ending is very satisfying.
I loved this series, the way the characters developed and you got new instalments of their adventures (kind of like a great tv series). Nothing too angsty - but some fun action and a few cliff hangers! Throw in some hot sex and these are a great read.
OMMFG I'm in love with this series and I cannot wait for the next book!! I am so glad how this book went. Adie had some wins and now has one less enemy because he is dead💀.... She has fixed somethings and set into motion others. #Freedom2😈
I absolutely love this story. The mfc is funny and dances to the beat of her own drum. Her heart leads her and morals direct her. Just read it already!!!
