The Messenger: It’s Headed Towards Earth! It Cannot be Stopped! And it’s Carrying the Secret of America’s, the World’s, and your Tomorrow!

Rate this book
What do the Jewish Feasts, prophetic Seals and Bowls from the book of Revelation, and an Earth-bound asteroid have in common? This is the question on the lips of every individual who sees the potential correlation between the impending coming of Christ and the imminent approach of the asteroid Apophis. Since the dawn of time, God has had a plan for all humanity’s salvation, and through His time here on Earth, Jesus fulfilled his portion of that plan by purchasing our Redemption. He confirmed this through His revolutionizing of the Old Testament tradition. He spelled it out, hidden in plain sight, for those who observed the Jewish Feasts. He left a promise upon His departure, that He would be back to complete and confirm the final phases of His plan through the final prophetic Jewish Feasts. Now… something cataclysmic this way comes… When Jesus spoke of His return, He warned that the coming of the age would be filled with war, pestilence, famine, and even catastrophic cosmic events which would permanently damage the Earth as we know it. We are warned in Revelation about the personified star, Wormwood, which would collide with our planet, bringing poison to our waters and death to one-third of humanity. With such looming threats above as the asteroid Apophis and other Near-Earth Objects, could we be approaching the era in which these prophecies are finally about to be realized? More important, does a hidden message connected Apophis point to an imminent, mysterious end-times countdown? IN THE MESSENGER, YOU WILL LEARN… • Why asteroids were seen by the ancients as the “Messengers” of God • The mysterious connection between Apophis and biblical prophecy • How Apophis is connected with demonic entities prophesied to make war with God • How forthcoming cosmic events could usher in the Great Tribulation period • What the Jewish Feasts decreed in the Old Testament have to do with the timing of the Rapture and end-times events • The correlation between ancient Jewish teaching, Founding Church Fathers, and Biblical Chronology which place the end of the world in the immediate future • How Jesus revealed Himself to mankind through the Feasts, and How He will complete this work at His return • Why it is vital that the Church resume the teaching of prophetic subject matter in a day that the truth is sparse and the lost are seeking for it

Great book that describes current events happening now and some that are already approaching the earth! The Apophis asteroid, originally projected by NASA to impact with the earth in April 2029 (but after some uproar, NASA "recalculated" that it would fly by the earth and miss us by a mere 7,000 miles), could be the omen described in Revelation 8.

This book has a lot of interesting twists and developments to keep an eye on!

A very interesting read which talks about the earth as we know it possibly ending this decade. The book mentions Jewish feasts, George Orwell, Charles Manson, etc.

This was a hard book to rate, because certain parts were an easy 5 stars, while other parts left me muttering in confusion, "Wait... what?"

The book starts with the cover postulate: there is an asteroid headed to earth called Apophosis, destined to hit in April 2029. Horn speculates that this is the biblical Wormwood described in Revelation (and then he tells you why he thinks so). It if is, that means that April 2029 will be mid-tribulation. Calculate backwards 3.5 yrs and, if he's correct, that puts the beginning of the tribulation around October 2025.

With that jaw-dropping hook, he then launches into a very in-depth analysis of the Jewish feasts. It's fascinating, and some of the insights he pulls out were equally astounding. (For instance: I had never heard before that the way the Passover lamb had to be prepared to prevent breaking any of its bones required one wooden stake driven up and down through it, and the other across its arms... in the shape of a cross.) He went way out into the weeds on some of it, and while I rarely saw the connection to the asteroid, it was fascinating enough that I didn't really care.

Then at some point he changed gears and started talking about the World Economic Forum, the Great Reset, and prophesies of the last pope. From there he went into Prince Charles' connection with the WEF, and -- while he backed all of his points well -- I started to wonder about the point of the book. It felt more like a series of unrelated subjects, aside from their shared eschatological focus.

I don't know what to think about end times theological speculations, anyway. Jesus Himself said that "no one knows the day or the hour" (Matthew 24:36) of the end--not even Him, but only the Father. Then again, He also gave His disciples an entire discourse on how they could recognize that the end was near (Matthew 24), so clearly He didn't mean for us to have NO idea. Maybe the meaning there was literal -- no one knows the DAY or the HOUR, but we can get the year or even the month right? But, the early Christians were certain that Jesus would return in their own lifetimes. Apparently the Crusades in the Middle Ages were partially inspired by the expectation that the end was near. In Isaac Newton's day they thought the end was eminent. I'm sure nearly every believer thought Hitler was the Antichrist at the time. Apparently there were even believers who suspected that Kennedy would come back from the dead (he was shot in the head, after all) and become the world's rallying point. Seems every generation speculates that theirs is the one. But, someone will have to be right sometime, right?

WILL APOPHIS LEAD TO A ‘GREAT RESET’ BY THE WEF?

Thomas Horn wrote in the first chapter of this 2020 book, “several times in my life and at times completely unexpected (always at night when I am asleep) I have been jolted from bed with an extraordinary glimpse … from … God… Another ‘quickening’ … involves how I was able to precisely predict the historic resignation of Pope Benedict XVI… This began a series of preternatural events too long to list in this book…. But why am I talking about this now?... I’m raising this issue because, early in 2019, the phenomenon happened again… Given that, so far, these visions have been extraordinarily accurate and stated publicly beforehand… I pray that you will consider what was published in ‘The Wormwood Prophecy’… involving the latest spectacular revelation.” (Pg. 7-9) He continues, “it wasn’t until after that book was in print and I was doing media interviews on its claims that the biggest revelations involving Apophis came to light. Those secrets are what this new book is about and involve why I am now calling Apophis ‘The Messenger.’ The ‘transmission’ it is bringing with it will soon unveil one of the scariest---and strangest---wonders connected to Bible prophecy.” (Pg. 11)

In late 2019, “We had but scratched the surface of a much larger revelation tying Apophis-Wormwood with prophecy, Jewish feasts, and the ancient idea that asteroids and comets are ‘messengers’ of the gods and omens of important coming events… In the following pages, based on these revelations, I will argue that mankind has likely entered the last decade of history as it has been known… and how the several unusual things you will read herein set this book apart from all other works on prophecy.” (Pg. 15-16)

Of the seeming contradiction between John 19:31 and Mark 15:42 about the day of Jesus’ death, he argues, “many… initially believe the Hebrew calendar is a singular dating system for all Jews. However, after the Diaspora… not all sects within Judaism agreed on how to interpret the passage of a day. Eventually, the Galileans (including Christ) considered a day to be ‘from sunrise to sunrise.’ The Judeans, along with the Sadducees… considered a day to be ‘from sunset to sunset’… once the instructions from God regarding the Passover are interpreted through these contrasting lenses, they effectively produce TWO Passover Seder meals the Jews would have been celebrating at the time of Christ… Bottom line for us … One of the Seders would have been on Thursday and one would have been on Friday, while BOTH DAYS would have been ‘preparation day’ for one or the other…” (Pg. 48-49)

He explains, “The notion of ‘imminence’ regarding the Rapture indicates that the event will be unforeseen and sudden… The concept of imminence may appear to introduce a problem for those who hold a mid-Trib Rapture position … Mid-Tribulationism requires a series of events to occur before the world is ‘ready’ for the Rapture… If we ask a pre-Tribber, ‘Could God come today?’ the answer will be ‘Yes!’ A mid-Trib believer… may begin to answer the question by referring to recent newspaper headlines…” (Pg. 163) Nevertheless, he concludes, “At the end of the day, the authors of this book believe that God has intentionally left the topic of the timing of the Rapture to be mysterious… Even Jesus Himself does not know [Mt 24:36]… If the Rapture occurs before the Tribulation and stockpiled supplies are left abandoned, it’s a win/win situation…” (Pg. 183)

He asserts, “many of the Church fathers placed this occurrence closer to the two-thousandth anniversary of Christ’s time on earth, which is the era in which we are living. In fact, scholars place Jesus’ crucifixion between AD 29-33, which means that the perfect manifestation of this time window occurs while Apophis will be just overhead..” (Pg. 208)

He asserts, “Assuming for the moment that Apophis is biblical Wormwood… and that 2029 would thus represent a period sometime around the middle of the Great Tribulation period… October 13, 2025 (April 13, 2029, minus three and a half years), would be the approximate start date of the seven years of Tribulation… October 13, 2025, is 21 Tishri on the Hebrew calendar, the seventh day of the annual Feast of Tabernacles..” (Pg. 209-210) Later, he adds, “The timing of the arrival of asteroid Apophis makes a strong candidate to fulfill the Wormwood prophecy… Are we correct that the asteroid of Revelation 8 will impact the earth in 2029? Will a pre-Tribulation Rapture occur 3.5 years earlier?... Time will tell…” (Pg. 247-248)

He asks, “Might such an [alien bacteria] on Apophis be the ‘trigger’ that results in a global pandemic that leads to a mandatory universal vaccine? The Mark of the Beast?... my wife Nita … asked if the biblical Mark of the Beast might be a conspiracy employment … implantable health-technology [?]… A pandemic ensures… a universal cry for a cure goes out… the government steps forward with a vaccine. The only catch, the government explains, is that … the ‘cure’ uses animal DNA and nanobots to rewrite one’s genetics so that the person is no longer entirely human… the individual could no longer be ‘saved’ or go to heaven… For believers… If they take this ‘cure,’ they will know at the moment they have willfully submitted to damnation regardless how it is justified.” (Pg. 250-251)

He summarizes, “I… believe THE MESSENGER, aka the Apophis-Wormwood asteroid, is carrying an alien microbe with a virus that will serve as the ‘trigger’ that sets in motion this end-times activity.” (Pg. 257) He adds, “The visions I have received are not two separate things, but a bird’s-eye glimpse of two major part of the end times, soon to unfold bilaterally, and I predict between now and 2029.” (Pg. 259)

He asserts, “given my personal exhaustive investigation into the Vatican… I have a bombshell announcement to make. I am reaching out to those concealed friends in Rome who assisted me in the pat to confirm my belief that Pope Francis will either retire soon or be taken out of the way, and that this really is tied to something strange that unfolded in bringing him temporarily to the pontificate… as a temporary ‘placeholder’ until the real Pope #112 (Petrus Romanus) could be installed. The mysterious reasons surrounding this ‘placeholder’ false pope may never be fully known…” (Pg. 273)

He suggests that “trade and globalization, lie neatly within the wheelhouse of an organization calling itself the ‘World Economic Forum’ (WEF)… it’s clear from the … Great Reset Initiative … builds upon the information system to lead us into a fifth turning of sorts, where humanity has become merged with technology, i.e., we are all transhuman.” (Pg. 281) Later, he adds, “the World Economic Forum plans to reset the world through an endeavor called the Great Reset… Friends, our world is about to undergo a major upheaval… This will be a thorough shakeup of all that we now know as ‘civilization,’ and many will gladly accept its bondage. Those who find this idea unpalatable will be forced to swallow it…” (Pg. 299)

Those who enjoy Thomas Horn’s earlier ‘prophecy’ books will enjoy this one as well.

Tom Horn, of Blessed Memory, had some interesting thoughts related to the asteroid Apophis. What I found most fascinating, however, was the in-depth look at the Jewish feasts and the great detail Tom took in describing the ancient practices and symbolism. It was so awesome and made me appreciate them even more. The other parts of the book in relation to the asteroid are mostly just conjecture and musings, but if you want to learn more about the feasts, I’d say this is worthy of reading just for that alone.

Thomas Horn is a skilled but also deeply personal writer. That's the first thing I noticed about this book. It's difficult to sum up the breadth and relevance of his writing so I'll say this: take heed. Horn is warning his readers and anyone who picks up his books. There are dark days ahead for all who inhabit the earth. Those who prepare themselves for what is ahead will be shielded; those who don't will suffer. Place your faith in Jesus today.

Disappointing. Little reference to the stated topic of the book. Mostly regurgitation of old material. Not worth the purchase of time.
