Good, accessible poetry, but it didn't speak to me as much as my favorite poetry collections. I most enjoyed the poems about working in the detox ward and describing the street activities he sees on going home at dawn. The shortest, simplest poem in the book charmed me: "February" – "Cold night. Little/bugs on the firewood,/what are we to do?"
