It's a good book story but it felt rushed. The ending left like so much was left out for example Like happens the kingdom or Arthur's father. Spme scenes where really good but it introudces characters randomly and you have no real understanding of them. You get left in the dark. There was some really good twist but I wish the story continued.

I would like to preface my review with the statement that I absolutely love the first 3 books. What excited me the most about the buildup to this one, is we meet Gabriella in the 2nd book, and she is this female werewolf-vampire hybrid version of robin hood. She lives alone in the woods and robs the rich to give to the poor - specifically taking care of an orphan girl who also lives alone in the woods. In the 2nd book James and his brothers make a deal with the Blackners to find a hybrid and tell the Blackners how to capture said hybrid for the eldest son to impregnate. Gabriella is that hybrid. Still in the 2nd book, James and his family attach body cameras to themselves and lay a trap for Gabriella to fight her so that the Blackners can watch her skills and know how to capture her. Gabirella gives a pretty good fight, and that's the last we see of her until the 4th book - this book.

Gabriella's story is like a Robin Hood-Tangled combination. She has quite the family history that gets uncovered. We also get to learn more about the Blackners. Looking forward to Lucas' story whenever it is written and published. :)

The titles to this series aren't the best. I read the first 2 of her books in this series and I really enjoyed them. However, this book does not fall in line with her previous work. The characters have not developed. Everyone is a prince or princess. There is no scenery description, like, where does this plot take place? Jungle? Desert? Forest? Who knows!

Like I said, the characters have no development. The Gabriella from previous books is not the Gabriella in this book. She's weak, not tactical, and her mate is weak (in my opinion).

Honestly, it feels like this book was rushed. I can't blame her for rushing the book, she was taking her time writing it and people got frustrated and kept asking for more.
