Taking a trip to the Colorado mountains with my best friend was not what I expected. I didn’t expect to get snowed-in and tack on a few more days of our trip. I didn’t expect to start seeing him as more than the boy I grew up with. More importantly, I didn’t expect to ask him to take my virginity. The problem was, at the end of our arrangement, my virginity wasn’t the only thing I wanted to give him.

ARC Review The Dragon Den * * * A wonderfully steamy friends-to-lovers novel that had the blizzard outside Jasmine's and Ben's cabin melt in an instant. It was cute, it was sexy, it was filled with promises to be kept and those that were meant to be broken. Wonderful work, Lyra.
An enjoyable friends to lovers story. The characters are likable, their relationship is wonderful and their chemistry is believable. It was s quick read but it had plenty of heartwarming and engaging scenes.
I requested a copy of this book so I could provide an honest review.
4.5 stars I really enjoyed this story I devoured the whole thing in one night. It was perfectly sweet in every way. Jasmine has planned a great winter getaway with her new boyfriend but he's got other plans suddenly. Jasmine is understandably upset and invites her best girlfriend who also has plans and suggests her best friend Ben. Who Polly knows will drop everything for Jazz. Arriving at the cabin just as the snow begins to fall a blizzard is on its way. A one bed cabin a blizzard two best friends and unexplored feelings what could possibly happen. If best friends to lovers is your trope this definitely is your story. Jasmine is the bookworm who doesn't realize that her best friend Ben has had a crush on her. And Ben he's the loyal best friend who is afraid to ruin their friendship. So grab some hot cocoa and blanket and enjoy this great evolving friendship.
Jasmine and Benedict have been friends all their lives but little does Jasmine know that Benedict has been in love with her for awhile now. When Ben agrees to go with Jasmine on a trip to a cabin getaway, he never expected to end up snowed in with her for an even longer period of time and Jasmine never expected to see Benedict in a totally different way. When things heat up between them they quickly realize they could be putting their lifelong friendship in jeopardy. I freaking loved Jasmine and Benedict! Loved, Loved, Loved!!They are definitely one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever read about and I loved every bit of their story. They have so many memories together growing up and really truly are each other’s best friend. Their story gets super hot and heavy at times but also has a good bit of angst thrown in there. This book definitely has all the feels needed to make one amazing story. Once again this author did not disappoint.
Jasmine arranges for a getaway with her new boyfriend which does not to plan as he has other arrangements suddenly, so she askes her best friend Polly who also has plans but she suggests her other best friend Ben, who has loved Jasmine for a long time, but never spoke up as he did not want to ruin their friendship. When they arrive at the cabin, they end up having to stay for longer than planned as after a blizzard they are snowed in. This is a well written little gem of a story which is perfect for a winters evening read. This story is sweet, entertaining, heartwarming, and with a tad angst, and emotions which all leads to a steamy read. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend for all.
This is a beautiful, Heartwarming story, Perfect for a cold wintery night. You definitely need a hot chocolate to keep you company with this book. Jasmine is heading on a vacation with her boyfriend Easton, but of course plans change and Luckily for her her friend Ben is able to join her on vacation with her instead. So instead of being stuck in a lonely cabin for a week, she gets to spend the week with her best friend catching up before she leaves to start life and her job in the real world. I just love this story and can tell it will be a book I will be re reading many many times more!
I love friends to lovers and this one is heartwarming. Jasmine and Benedict are childhood friends. Whilst home from college Jazz is determined to lose her virginity on vacation and when her date drops out she decides to spend the time with her best friend instead. Jazz and Ben are perfect for each other, both committed to their careers they are certain they don't have time for love. They get snowed in for two weeks and are forced to confrontation their own feelings for each other. I loved the phone calls with their mum's, who are best friends too, their gentle pushing didn't hurt either. I loved the epilogue.
This is a fun friends to lovers story. A little heavier on the newly refound father being introduced into an adult's life.... I did struggle to get a grip on the main characters because both Jasmine and Ben continually failed to make themselves understood by their best friend, so it did seem to drag on a little. However, it remains a cute story in a great setting that I thoroughly enjoyed.
These two are friends, best friends who knew he loved her more than a friend. These two get snowed in together and she starts to see him in a different way. As sparks fly they are fearful of ruining there friendship, Sweet story

Jazz and Ben have been best friends since they were small. Although they have both been attractive to the other no one ever voiced it. After being dumped by a rude and cheating boyfriend the night before a romantic getaway, Jazz is left lost. Not wanting to go alone she calls Ben who is quick to accept her offer to be able to spend time with her. Once in the cabin, everything changes. Do they go in as friends and come out lovers? Or what happens in the cabin stays in the cabin?

A beautifully written friends to lovers read. I really enjoyed reading Jasmine and Ben's story. It was sweet, sexy, and entertaining. I'd highly suggest grabbing a copy of this read!
I fell in love with Ben and Jasmine from start to finish! I loved the storyline behind Jazz’s antics. It was very brave of her to want to take that leap.
I’m so glad her and Easton were nipped in the bud. I don’t wanna give anything away so I’ll keep it short and sweet!
This book had some oh 💩 moments followed with nothing but steam (literally) and a HEA! I also LOVED the little snowed in cabins at the beginning of each new chapter, warm my lil heart
I am a sucker for a best friends to lovers book and this one sure delivered. I enjoyed Jazz and Ben’s story. I like how close of friends they were and how even their mothers were best friends as well. This book was filled with angst, steamy scenes and lots of emotions! Definitely a one sitting book!
If you are looking for a quick Friends to lovers, cozy winter read then this is the book for you!
I absolutely adored this book, I love friends to lovers books add in a blizzard and you have the perfect book to enjoy on a long winter night.
Jasmine and Benedict are best friends on a trip to Colorado when they get snowed in due to a blizzard. They try to navigate the new waters of seeing each other differently and trying to understand how it happened.
Jasmine's boyfriend drops her for another the day before they are to stay in a cabin together. She first asks her best friend Polly to go as the trip is paid for, but Polly already has plans, then she asks her best male friend Benedict Finley to go. I enjoyed seeing this story come together. Quick sweet read that'll warm your heart. If you need a change in pace or the type of book you read then give this a try. It's like breathing a breath of fresh air.
When Jasmine's "boyfriend" promptly cheated on her the day before their cabin vacation, she was stuck. She had already made plans to lose her virginity during this trip to save herself from "ridicule" before heading to grad school. But now it was all for nothing. With an empty cabin and no sex plans remaining, Jasmine plans to make the best of the situation by inviting her best friend to the cabin to hang out before her big move to another state.
Being snowed-in wasn't in the plans. And certainly not with her best friend who is suddenly very hot. Soon, secrets are spilled and Jasmine and Ben's innocent cabin getaway takes a turn for the stormy. What neither expects is the surge of emotions that comes or the romantic love they feel for each other. But life always seems to hit us when we least expect it and things are never the same again.
I loved Jasmine and Ben's relationship. They had been best friends for basically their entire lives, and while their moms pushed them to become a couple, neither wanted to push it and potentially ruin their friendship for a romantic relationship that might not last. But of course, that didn't stop them from getting steamy up in the snowed-in cabin. With the promise that sleeping together wouldn't ruin their friendship, they embark on a journey that changes everything they thought they wanted and needed. But back in the real world, both struggle with their feelings and the secrets that were revealed. Ben's nonexistent relationship with his father comes into conflict with his mother's new relationship (with his dad, but Ben was a one-night stand baby and there was no dating/marriage). Jasmine also struggles with knowing if she's making the right decision with moving - she knows she loves Ben, knows Ben loves her, but wants to follow her dreams and moving is the way to do it. So Ben and Jasmine's relationship gets put on the backburner until Ben's dad serves some pretty big advice that changes everything. Thus everything works out and the two characters end up together by the end of the book.
Of course, the steamy scenes were great too, but I think the character development and pace of the romantic relationship made the book great. This made the book enjoyable on its own, but lovers of smut would also enjoy it.
