Saucy v Protective - Both Win
4.5 stars - Initial impression of Michaela? Saucy! So very saucy. 😍 I like it! Andrei seems to appreciate her, too. He becomes very enamored and very protective of her almost immediately. She's fully prepared to spend the night reaping the delicious rewards of the evening not realizing that this is the beginning of their forever. I really enjoyed this easy-to-read short. The epilogue is cute and sweet. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this short.

It’s Michaela’s first day working as a sound engineer when she meets the one and only champion boxer Andrei Nicholescu whilst he is sparring with an up and coming fighter. The pair connect instantly but Andrei is a man all women would drool over and she isn’t the usual arm candy a man wants to be seen with, she is shocked when he asks her out to dinner. Could she have found a man who will love her and her curves?
Andrei Nicholescu knows he doesn’t have long left on the profession boxing circuit but he has invested wisely over the years and is ready for retirement. He is no player and although he could have his pick of the women who come to watch him fight he isn’t interested, that is until Michaela walks in to KO arena and inserts herself bang in the middle of the rest of his life, her curves have him hook, line and sinker. He is ready to claim his forever but can he show her that theirs is love?
We all need a Mona Zaftig in our lives she is a total legend. I enjoyed this story and how Andrei charmed Michaela and made sure he got his happily ever after. 3.8* knockout read.

Another match for Mona!! This is a sweet and sexy short story with Andrei and Michaela falling for each other at first sight. The author packs a ton in this quickie and delivers another great story. Loved it!!

This is an instant love boxer romance. Andrei is a boxer with no time for women. Michaela is the new soundtech. They hit it off from the start.

This one was short and fun. I enjoyed reading it but I guess I was expecting more. More steamy monologues of Michaela watching him in the ring. More of him not being able to keep his eyes off of her. It was just that the blurb lead me to believe that there'd be some sexual tension building with her watching him in the ring but one fight does not an 'I can't focus on my job situation' make. Also, my other issue is I get that people are insecure but it just seemed like an aside versus an actual feeling she would have. He legit asked her out. He didn't skirt it, he didn't word it in some vague way. He very specifically said after the fight they should hang together. It was just frustrating to hear her continuously talking about how he doesn't really want her. I would've been way more onboard if she just said she would take it how she got it and if it was a one-nighter so be it and just lived her best life. I dunno. Maybe I've just read so many of these I'm over this plot direction mostly because it be so much more fun if they went out on faith that it was for real and if it wasn't well at least they got a really good date and some good sex out of it. No harm no foul. Just think about it once, then commit to the night without letting the impending doom everyone knows who's a fan of this trope, is not going to happen. That's part of why I can't get into it as well, I already know they're going to have a HEA so why not allow her to enjoy it to the fullest?
That's about it really. I'd probably have enjoyed it more with more tension and def more than one steamy escapade, and no stars lost for this one but I'm definitely more interested in how relationships progress than the six months or more later epilogues. Like just jumping to the happy ever after without a few days of settling into the relationship first is like they had some fun and poof, relationship success. Especially if they only do it once in the book to begin with.
Lastly, I don't understand how this is part of a dating agency. I read the whole book and almost all dating agency style novels I have read have a legitimate business or something where characters log into or physically go to to find a match. This definitely did not happen so I'm not sure how a dating agency fits into this at all. Other than the last few sentences that say this was a dating agency success. This is book 39 so I'm hoping that this dating agency exists in one of the many previous books otherwise I don't understand the series title.

This is a story from an absolutely wonderful series I never tire of reading. The books are short but pack so much into them! The premise of the stories is that sometimes fate needs a little help getting deserving people together. Welcome to the files of the Zaftig Dating Agency, where alpha men find the women of their dreams! This series gives the reader stories about all kinds of different people and topics, and you will love the people you meet here.
Andrei Nicholescu is a professional boxer. His manager, Tom Hills, thinks Andrei is not relaxing enough between matches for the best recovery and perhaps a partner might help him focus. The woman selected for him to meet is Michaela Phillips, a sound engineering technician. It was arranged for her to have an internship at the Total KO Boxing Arena where fate and Mona Zaftig could make a miracle happen.
Andrei is boxing with young Jimmy who is quite good. But his overconfidence let him make a mistake and Andrei took the opening, making Jimmy fall against the ropes. He also told the kid to keep his mind on the fight and keep his guard up. Jimmy called him “Gramps” and they laughed together as a sound tech walked up to introduce a beautiful woman. When Michaela came by later to see if the sound was good in the arena, Andrei took the opportunity to ask her out after the next day’s match, which she happily agreed to. She loves that he’s funny and doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously – her perfect type!
Andrei of course wins his match, and they head for a bar for a quick drink. A frat boy with a big crowd of friends gets mouthy, but Andrei walked up and set him straight. Then they went to Andrei’s impressive loft to get to know each other better. And it must have worked! Michaela is Andrei’s wife not long after. Sparring with Jimmy, the kid calls up to get some music and an easy listening song came on instead of her usual choices. He called up to suggest a different song, until Jimmy laughed and told him to listen to the words… the ones about having a BABY! He runs into the booth and kisses her – this is even better than winning a big match!
I really enjoy these books! Not only was the dialog between Andrei and Michaela fun, but Andrei and Jimmy bantered back and forth like old friends. It made a nice, friendly background for the boxers. And as expected, Andrei and Michaela are deliriously happy. Mona has done it again!

The gloves are coming off in this insta-love story
Total Knockout is the thirty-ninth book in the fabulous Zaftig Dating Agency series and I have read and loved them all. This story is about Andrei Nicolescu, a thirty-two year old professional boxer, and Michaela Phillips, a twenty-three year old sound engineer technician.
Andrei will have to thank his manger Tom Mills for the rest of his life as it was Tom who referred Andrei to the Zaftig Dating Agency. Andrei knows that he has only a couple of more years to fight professionally as even at his current age he is up there. But he has been smart and has a good accountant so from his winnings over the years he should be able to live comfortably for the rest of his life. The only problem is that he does not have anyone who he wants to live that life with. That all changes when he lays eyes on the beautiful and curvy Michaela. She has just recently graduated with her degree and has moved to town for an internship at the Total KO Boxing Arena On her first day she meets both Andrei and a younger boxer he is sparring with, Jimmy. Andrei knows immediately that he wants to get to know her better, which is a totally new feeling for him. So when he is eating his lunch and Michaela comes to ask if the sounds tests they have been running are okay he asks if he can take her out for a drink after the fight night which is tomorrow. Of course she accepts as Andrei is big, handsome, built, super sexy with tattoos and lots of muscles....drool worthy to say the least. Let's just say that Andei may win his fight but he scores big later that night and for the rest of his life.
This is another well written and entertaining story. The story-line is fast-paced, filled with lots of hot and steamy chemistry, some drama, romance and insta-love. The characters are all wonderful, well except for one drunk and obnoxious frat boy who Andrei scares off. This is another winning book in this series.

Another knockout success for Mona Zafting!
Andrei is a boxing trainer while working with his client Jimmy Scott in walks Michaela to shadow the current sound man. After lunch Andrei makes a bold move and asks her on a date. During said date the happy pair share their first kiss which even I as the reader was envious of. I also learned that apparently liquid lipstick doesn’t smear on to the other person being kissed. Andrei was the perfect gentleman and honestly the epilogue didn’t surprise me at all because these two were absolutely perfect for each other.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Total knockout is the lasted release in the ‘’zaftig dating agency’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Andrei is a boxer that wants the new sound tech as soon as he meets her. Will he get a chance with Michaela?
The chemistry between Michaela and Andrei is clear to see and I liked them together.

I kind of loved this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. I liked the banter between Andrei and Jimmy. The characters were likable. Mona got another one right! Andrei and Michaela meet at the boxing arena. Michaela is attracted but figures he will probably want to be "just friends". Andrei is attracted and is thinking that he may have to believe in love at first sight. They were so funny and sweet together. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

This book’s couple meet at a practice session in a boxing arena. Andrei and Michaela are the newest pair Mona Zaftig puts together for a live at first sight match.
I always love the quick and complete read you get from a Jane Fox book. It isn’t long, but you never get the feeling it is rushed or anything is left out.
In this match up I didn’t feel the chemistry as much as I usually do. I think the opportunities for increasing the desire for one another might have been improved taking advantage of the jealous or possessive moments.

Mona Zaftig runs Zaftig Dating Agency. She receives a request to help Andrei a fighter find love, the perfect candidate is Michaela the new sound tech intern! Andrei - a boxer - needs a good woman. Mona is certain the Michaela is the one for him. Michaela's not expecting forever from him, deciding to be happy with one date. As always, Mona's instincts are correct - Andrei is a believer in love at first sight, and he and Michaela hit it off from the moment they meet. I really enjoyed Andrei's sparring with Jimmy, both verbally and with their fists. This short romance is a sweet but spicy story, with a happy epilogue.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the 39th boo in the Zaftig Dating Agency series. In this book, Michaela is training as a sound technician and meet Andrei at the gym where he trains as a boxer. Andrei is at the end of his career and is starting to train new boxers. When Andrei meets Michaela, he knows she is the one for him and doesn't waste time in making her know he wants her. I love these quick and steamy books. The Dating agency books are all instant love stories that have a happy ending. I love Mona and the way she manages to make her matches. Another good one.

Number one with a punch! This was another great addition to the Zaftig Dating Agency Series by Jane Fox. Each one is easily read in under hour and makes the perfect afternoon escape. In Total Knockout, we get Andrei and Michaela's story. Andrei is a boxer and when he meets the new intern, Michaela, he is knocked out by her beauty. He knows she is the one for him. Its love at first sight and Andrei and Michaela are ready to claim their HEA! Great story!

An entertaining book 39 in the Zaftig Dating Agency series! It is well written, relatable, engaging, LOL funny, and steamy. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

Another unexpected match for the matchmaking Agency. Can you have a boxer and a sound tech who are matched. Didn’t think it would work but it would make sense because she plays the music in between the fights and he’s a boxer. Sound of inspiration? Definitely. No cliffhanger.

Book thirty nine in the Zaftig Dating Agency series a well written short story that held my interest until the end. And the Agency does it again...another great match with Andrei and Michaela. The stories are short but very steamy and romantic with love ate first site, it seems that Zaftig Agency has a 100% success rate in their matches. Great series, I love it.
