Audrey Fleming never had much of a family or place to call home, so when she gets the chance to buy an inn that once belonged to her late namesake, she doesn’t think twice. Never mind her lack of funds, connections, and experience.
For years, she and her roommate followed on social media the shenanigans of the OGs, three octogenarians who’d been besties with Audrey’s long gone maternal grandma. Au has yet to meet them, but she already loves them. Besides, the small town of Alden seems like the ideal place to lie low. No one would come looking for her in Massachusetts. She’d be safe, far away from Texas and all the ugliness and insanity.
Connor Stonewell, beloved grandson of Greta, OG extraordinaire, was once one of Alden’s Golden Boys. Now he’s a hot mess. He’d never envisioned a future where he wasn’t in the military, so getting discharged after a mission gone horribly wrong has left him adrift in a civilian world he doesn’t know how to navigate anymore.
He’s too dangerous to be around his fellow soldiers—never mind a certain sweet, sexy innkeeper he can’t seem to stay away from. He should stop playing with fire. Pack his shit and disappear for good. Too bad he can’t do it. Walking away from Audrey is something every fiber of his being refuses to do. Plus his dad and grandma are in a war path and need a referee, preferably one who won’t lose it at a drop of a hat and kill them both. So yeah, tall order.
Audrey and Connor both know their secrets will sooner or later catch up with them. Whether they’ll survive or crash and burn under the weight of revelation is anybody’s guess.

5 - "Always go with your gut…" Stars!
We return to Alden, for book three in The OG’s series, giving us Audrey and Connor’s story. I love a tortured hero and Elle, give us that and so much more with Audrey’s Inn.
"Whatever you need… I’m Here."
At the start of the story, its easy to see that Con’s return to town after leaving the Armed Forces is more complex than his closest friends and family initially assume, yet its Audrey (a total stranger) that is the one that see’s and recognises his inner struggles before any of them. She’s the one that calms the panic and eases the nightmares. Con’s not a man used to showing weakness, but as their mutual affection and off the charts lust for each other grows he finds himself revealing more and more to her, in both his physical and mental scars.
"Wherever you are… that’s where I want to be."
It’s not long though before you see that Con is not the only one with secrets, and some ultimately are much more deadlier than others…
I loved this book, like it’s predecessors it was full of heart, furnace levels of heat and absolutely fall down laughing humour. The OG’s are in fine form, and their auto-correct text escapades had me laughing out loud many a times. I’ve loved Alden since Elle's introduction of the Bowen brothers so any chance to go back and touch base with them and everyone else is always welcome, Elle has written another stunner, and I cannot wait for everyone else to read it!

In this fun and sexy third entry in the OG series, Audrey Fleming and Connor Stonewell have but no chance for the meddling grandmothers to act once again. The trio of grandmothers have played their roles as matchmaker quite well. In the first book in this series,
Deep Down,
Mike and Kyra found their way to love. In the second book,
Grease Babe,
Rachel and Adrian found a happy future together. Both of these books are available on Kindle Unlimited and I enjoyed reading them.
In this book, Audrey's Inn, the trio have one more couple to bring together, and who better than Audrey and Connor. Years ago, Rebecca, Wilma and Greta were more than a trio. They had another dear friend who has since passed away, Audrey. While at a wedding they are approached by a young lady and their hearts all but stop - she is the granddaughter of their dear departed friend. They had just been talking about setting Connor up and they immediately set their sights on Audrey for him.
Audrey has a lot of baggage - baggage she is hiding from these three ladies she has become instantly fond of, the small town and from a man to whom she cannot deny a powerful attraction to - Connor. There is something in her very recent past that would no doubt create grave danger if she was to be found. But, Audrey does not want to think about that. Instead, she focuses on getting the Inn left to her by her grandmother in top shape. A romance with the sexy, brooding Connor also seems in the cards.
Connor is Greta's grandson. He is suffering the effects of PTSD and the accompanying triggers. As he experiences certain things, Audrey proves more than adept at helping him through his difficulties. The fact that he is very drawn to her on just about every level proves to be quite concerning. Will his memories and resulting actions prove dangerous one day to those he loves? Can he even admit the extent of the trauma he is coping with daily?
What a pair! Audrey and Connor have pasts and secrets that could level any chance of a happy future together. Matchmaking aside, their feelings for one another grow quickly. The conflicts, however, could be their very undoing. While I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series, this one had a much stronger impact on me. Not only did we get a a small taste as to what trauma PTSD victims suffer, we see how love, strength and determination prove stronger than the most difficult of memories. There is also the lesson of forgiveness that this story explores. This was an incredibly moving story and a delightful end to an enjoyable series.

Andrey has recently moved to her grandmother’s home town of Alden to realise her dream of re-opening her late grandmother’s inn. She has poured every dollar she could find into this labour of love and she is beginning to see the results of that hard work.
Being around the OG’s - her grandmother’s besties is amazing. They are constantly up to mischief, trying to tick things off their bucket lists and keeping their adult grandchildren on their toes. Audrey loves having a sense of family around her and her circle of incredible friends are part of that family too.
Connor has recently returned to Alden from active duty in the military. He has been discharged after a mission went horribly wrong. He is suffering from PTSD and is taking each day at a time. This is not how he saw his career in the military playing out so he is trying to adjust to his new normal.
When Audrey first meets Connor he is not in a good place. However, she knows exactly what to do and how to handle him. Connor is surprised to find this gorgeous woman is not only not afraid of him but wants to help him. He knows the best outcome for both of them is for him to stay away from her. There is something about this girl though…
Audrey feels drawn to Connor and before too long they become more than just friends. Connor has a stipulation before anything physical can happen between them, Audrey agrees to go along with his request and her vajayjay reaps the rewards :)
In the back of his mind, Connor knows that keeping Audrey safe is a risk the both take each time he falls asleep beside her. Audrey has her own secrets and they are not little ones. Hers will jeopardise her entire life in Alden and also bring danger to this small town. Nothing like a few more layers of stress to add to this already complicated relationship!
This is the third story in a series but can be read as a stand alone. I haven’t read the previous two and it didn’t affect my enjoyment of this story. The OG’s were so much fun to read about and I loved the extended circle of friends that both Audrey and Connor have.

This is the third book in the series, and is a really lovely addition to the series. The OGs are as crazy as ever, and are such a great way to give us the stories of their patient grandchildren.
Audrey was one of the OGs, until she died, and her grand-daughter (named in her honour) has come back to town and restored the B&B as an Inn. It is early days, but the locals - prompted by the OGs - are supporting her venture. I loved the stories of those working there, and how Rachel and Mike also help bring business to the Inn. And now, Connor is back to support his own OG, and prevent his father from having her declared incapable to make her own decisions.
Connor has gone through hell - do be warned if you are sensitive to injuries, these will break your heart - and he sees himself as less. I cannot explain to you how beautifully Elle Aycart has written his characters - so rough and tough, and yet so vulnerable. Audrey immediately sees a man who is in deep pain, but also is strongly attracted to him.
This is a very moving, undoubtedly fun whenever the OGs are around, and quite dramatic story. At its heart are two people who find each other, and eventually understand just how special that makes their future lives.

Talk about a twist that I didn't see coming!
The OG's are hilarious in their not so subtle matchmaking attempts for their respective grandchildren, and when the granddaughter of their deceased friend comes to town, they welcome her with open arms.
Audrey loves the OG's and wishes she had known her grandmother back in the day. The stories she heard and just watching the wise and not so humble grandmothers are they are now give her a clear indication of just how much fun the original Audrey was.
Connor is back from the War and has a severe case of PTSD. Doing his best to avoid the OG's and their shenanigans, he none-the-less gets roped into the family texts and does his part to make sure they are safe and sound on their adventures. When he meets Audrey, he can't deny there's a spark, yet he decides that being alone is the better option for someone like him.
Once I started this book, I couldn't put it down. There are some episodes that deal - in depth- with Connor's PTSD and the way that Audrey learns to help him handle the effects of it.

Audrey’s Inn is book 3 in the OGs series and the matchmaking grandmothers are back at it again. Connor, grandson of one of the current OGs, is back in town after years in the military. He is suffering from PTSD so his return has been very difficult for him. Added to that was trying to hide it from everyone. Audrey is the granddaughter of the deceased friend of the OGs before they were OGs. Audrey has come to Alden to fulfill her and her roommate’s dream to re-open her grandmother’s inn. But we find that is not the only reason she is in town. The meddling grandmothers see the potential between Connor and Audrey, but there are many obstacles that get in the way of the happily ever after they want for them.
Connor and Audrey’s love story has many bumps along the way. Even though there was an immediate attraction, Connor was too afraid of hurting her during his episodes. What I loved was how determined Audrey was to stay by his side. It was actually Audrey who knew exactly what Connor was going through and how to reach him during his attacks. When Audrey was finally able to get through Connor’s walls her own secrets came in to derail them again.
This book was a great ending to this fun series. We have the laughs, heartache, swoons, and added suspense that made this a 5-stars read.

Audrey has a secret and a past that she is hiding from and doesn't want anyone to know about her past. The OGs are instantly fond of her and do everything they can to help grow her inn and push her and Conner together. Which isn't difficult because they have a connection.
Connor is Greta's grandson. He is returning from overseas and is suffering the effects of PTSD and has triggers that he doesn't want anyone to know about these things. He is a lost soul trying to heal but doesn't know how to get over what happened to him. Conner is drawn to Audrey because she calms him but he is afraid of his triggers and fears that he cver after. Are their feelings for one another strong enough to be able to deal with their secrets and fears?
I really loved this book. I love the OGs and their shenanigans. I love Audrey and Conner and I want them to find their way to each other. They have a lot to deal with to end up HEA but I feel their connection and I am rooting for them. This is a sweet romance of not giving up on someone who has fears from PTSD and fighting for what you want. First, I want to say how much I love this series….not a little bit, but a lot, like a lot, a lot. The OG’s, are three of my favorite characters I have ever read. Are they a handful? Yes they are, but in the best ways, and trying to live their best life. All their shenanigans, just so funny...I can’t even with them. From their group chats and autocorrect “fiascos”, to live streaming at very interesting times, to their matchmaking shenanigans. I adore these women with a fierceness they totally deserve and earned. I am pretty sure they could stream these three and attract a lot of tourists with their shenanigans….people like me. But don’t mistake me, this book wasn’t all fun and games, ok, it mostly was, but it was a fantastic storyline, with quite a few what the, OMG moments, and so much emotion.
This was a safe read, with a dirty talking alpha, and his equally dirty talking woman. I loved that she was very open about how much she wanted him too, dare I say that she was even more insatiable than he was, so hot. This book had quite a few shocking twist, which I also loved. So many emotions, you won’t want to stop, just keep reading to get sucked into this world. We get to read the OG’s and all their shenanigans, their grandchildren, that we adore, trying to keep them out of trouble. Definitely one of my favorite series, this will be a series that I re-read over, and over...and over, love it so much.

Honestly, i am never bored when i read a book from this author. It has intrigue, love, chemistry, action brilliant characters and a plot that has you hooked from the very beginning.
Audrey (Nicky) is in town opening her new inn when she she's something and immediately goes to help. Connor a local man is back in town and suffering a PTSD attack, Audrey recognises this as she gets closer and manages to talk him back into being calm and out from his attack. Attraction is there from both sides, however Connor is a man with more than just scars and wants to try and keep his distance.
Trouble is Audrey likes him and while not being able to sleep, he helps her in the middle of the night like a house elf doing the gardening for the inn.
Both characters are hiding things, but the attraction between them is too strong and they cannot keep away from each other.
We get more high-jinx from the three old ladies called the OG's and the grandkids we have seen falling in love, we also get to seal the cast members come together and be there for each other for whatever is needed and for moral support when Connor finally opens up for his friends about why he is no longer in the military.
I really did love this book and really hope that we will get books based in Alden and have these wonderful, wacky characters and the big family they have become.

What a bittersweet ending to a fantastically funny and steamy series by Ms. Aycart.
This is the story of Connor and Audrey, or is it? You are going on a bit of a thrill ride with this story, just like riding sidecar with the OGs!
Connor has been battle-tested and scarred beyond measure. He has come back home to defend his grandma and to try to heal as best he can. He is unhopeful in his recovery and has no clue on what he is going to do with himself.
Audrey has come home to realize a dream that she had shared with her roommate. She has come home to re-open the B&B that grandma Audrey had started back in the day. She has put her heart and soul into the place. Audrey's Inn has become her refuge and safe place.
When Connor and Audrey meet, sparks fly and Connor is afraid of himself around her and tries hard to keep his distance. Audrey is the calm to his chaos, the shelter in the storm of his mind.
This story grabbed me from the get-go and didn't let go until the beautiful end. There are twists and turn, a bit of a thriller, and oh my me the smexiness between Connor and Audrey was so wickedly hot, I thought my e-reader would melt!
This is a series I can totally see myself re-reading again and again!! Well done!

The perfect ending to a beloved series.
The OG's are back checking off the items of their bucket list and hilarious shenanigans ensue. This cast of characters is near and dear to my heart.
Audrey and Connors's story is the perfect finish. He is plagued by demons of his past and she was living a life of secrets. Sparks fly and their chemistry is off the charts. His pain is evident in every word. Her understanding and patience are apparent in every scenario. In perfect synchronicity and maybe a bit of help from these grandma's, love wins. The twist and turns had me reading in one sitting and in perfect Elle fashion, Alden comes together once again in this bittersweet ending.
I'm going to miss this town and will re-read these books many times over. Thank you Elle for an amazing series and a must-read.

This is the first book of this book that I read.
I really liked it, the characters are engaging and sexy, the OG's are really funny and elevate the book.
There is a plot twist that is interesting and not obvious.
Audrey has taken over the Inn that her grandmother opened years ago and is just surviving, trying to do her best. Connor was discharged after a mission gone horribly wrong has left him adrift in a civilian world he doesn’t know how to navigate anymore.
These two souls meet, and they combust but having a lot of baggage their path to romance is not easy.
The book has many surprises and is just an excellent entertainment!

I'm sad to say goodbye to these grandmas. They made this series. There amazing grandkids who catered to them helped too. In many ways, they reminded me of Kristen Ashley's Rock Chicks but elderly.
I'm glad I discovered this author. Very enjoyable book and interconnected series. Ill look for more books by this author in the future.

Audrey has moved to Alden to buy her grandmother's former inn, restore it and make a life for herself.
Connor has returned from the military with PTSD and seems to find comfort sleeping near Audrey on her lawn.
Except Audrey isn't who she says she is and she has a questionable past. I'm not sure that I 100% liked Audrey once we learn her secrets.

I love OGs. They are the highlight of the series, although of course the main focus is centered on their grandchildren. I liked very much the building of romance and relationship of Audrey and Connor, but Audrey’s plot twist was a little OTT for me, that’s why I gave this story only 3 stars.

"Audrey's Inn" by Elle Aycart was a sweet yet steamy small town romance featuring likeable, well-developed characters and an engaging plot complete with a twist that I did not see coming. The banter and chemistry between main characters Connor Stonewell and Audrey Fleming was pitch perfect, and I loved how they accepted and supported each other through thick and thin. Both Connor and Audrey had been through more than their fair share of trauma in the past; my heart broke for Connor in particular, whose experiences in the military and resulting PTSD were more than most people (myself included) would have been able to overcome. I found it very easy to cheer them on to their HEA.
Connor's grandmother Greta and her two best friends, nicknamed the "Original Grandmas" ("OGs") by their grandchildren, were just as much fun (and trouble) in this story as they were in the previous books of the series. Early on, they seemed a little more subdued than usual due to the looming threat of Greta's competency hearing, but they made up for it in the end!
In summary, "Audrey's Inn" gave me all the feels and I loved it. I highly recommend this book for fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I'm sad to see the series come to an end, but I look forward to whatever Elle Aycart writes next.
