Alright, thoughts on this volume:
--Jack is seriously such an awesome character, both hilarious and bad-ass. I love seeing him glower at Sekke and instill the fear of gods in him, but also seeing him push himself to be stronger. On top of that, his backstory was simple, concise, and explained his desire to be strong. I just wish we had learned what his parents' magic attributes were, purely because Severing Magic is such a specific type of magic it would have been cool to have learned what his parents had.
--Nacht has definitely redeemed some of his behavior in my eyes, though his full redemption will come later (spoiler alert). I still wouldn't say that I love him as much as other characters, but I tolerate him more now.
--It was interesting seeing Nozel wonder if Asta will make it in time and shows subtle character growth on his part. It's nice to see him concerned about his future brother-in-law.
--MEREOLEONA IS OUR UNDISPUTED AND INDOMITABLE QUEEN AND NO ONE CAN ARGUE WITH THAT!! Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
--Those two high ranking demons are creepy as FUCK and are intimidating in presence alone. Like they show up and everyone's like, "Ohhhhh, we're so fucked".
--Vanica is the absolute WORST, I want to punch her in the TEETH, and I FUCKING HATE HER. Urgh, I hate her so much! But Charlotte's True Briar Magic is dope as FUCK and GORGEOUS, so I'll live.
--Back at the Capital, Solid and Nebra were busying being useless again. To the shock and amazement of absolutely no one.
--Asta's Devil Union form is sooooooooo dope and I loved seeing him take out that ancient demon! Omg, that spread was *chef's kiss*
--Klaus is still the one and only Asta stan and I love him, he's so precious.
I could go on for ages, but I'll leave it at that for now. Loved this volume!

First volume following the anime and this manga is totally worth the read. Black clover manages to invest you in the characters and make every fight interesting. This particular arc is jam packed with stellar action sequences and fights that will most definitely keep you at the edge of your seat. You can call me Klaus but; “GOOOO ASTAAAAAA”

I find the pacing a little odd in this manga and I also prefer the visuals in the anime but the storyline of this particular arc has been quite strong. I think the battles would be much more impressive in the anime adaption if they ever get around to finishing it and that would also help the pacing, but they are still fun to read and the ending of this volume was a very strong full circle moment

My first full manga volume since the end of the anime and it's awesome. So much happened that I could hardly take it all in. I love how they all grew in their power, Yuno, Charlotte, Asta... I can't wait to read on. I need to know what happens to Nacht! And when Noelle and the others will come and how they evolved.
The thing I love about Black Clover is that there are so many characters but they are also so unique and have their own personality 🥰

There was so much build-up for this moment so I am praying hard that it is worth it. The final battle against the Dark Triad is finally here and our heroes are all ready. I don't know why but I liked the lack of Asta in this volume. The book focuses more on the other characters and so we can see that Asta is not the only one important for this mission nor he is the only one who got strong. Maybe it is too late but I am starting to like Jack as well. Overall, it was a really good volume and I am curious to see how this arc and the series are going to end.

The story is still going strong, the characters and their magical power are memorable, the fight scene and the plot twists are exciting although as a typical 'adventure and magic' manga series, there is nothing ground breaking about the plots, the characters, the villains and the story.
Will stay tune for the next volume to see what is the battle with the demon-possessed dark magicians and how the MCs powering up to meet the villains' challenge!

- Au début on peut voir tout les gens qui vont à spade en plus y'a sekke. On voit ducoup qui commence à attaquer, et il y a un Dieu démon qui surgit et la y'a l'entrée de la goat mereoleona avec un nouveau mode en plus on voit un petit flashback de la rencontre mereo et Nacht.
- yuno et langris s'occupe de Zénon, ducoup en plus yuno à un nouveau mode le sprit of boreas et met un gros coup à Zénon.
- après les best Charlotte et rill sont contre vanica et 2 mec de diamond qui sont booster, et la Charlotte à un nouveau mode la reine des ronce ou elle peut utiliser les roses bleue et rouge.
- dente affronte jack et Nacht, combat bof bof j'aime pas juste les combat avec dente ils sont chiant, On a eu un flashback de jack qui était pas mal.
- Après la première porte de l'arbre s'ouvre ducoup 2 démon de rang supérieur viennent et permet au membre de la triade sombre d'être à 100% de leur pouvoir démoniaque. Et l'autre dieu démon apparait à clover en plus personne arrive à l'arrêté met asta Union 100% arrive et tue le démon.

Kinda getting too interested in the corpselike Vanica on the cover of Chapter 278....
Pretty hype with all the transformations unlocked in this volume, for both heroes and villains alike. Most of the heroes who get power-ups end up having forms ripping off Naruto's Kyūbi Chakra Mode. All the Dark Triad members get Arrancar Resurrección forms. Jack, of the Magic Knights, is kinda screwed, since he just becomes a magic porcupine - but at least he gets Kuwabara's ability to cut anything, as seen near the end of Yu Yu Hakusho. Asta's new form is... underwhelming; the big thing is his stupid fucking fang poking out from under his lip just kills any sense of coolness, but overall he could benefit from a RockMan.EXE/ProtoMan facemask. If not going full Kamen Rider. Whatever. The volume is pretty dope overall, but I'm refraining from Five Stars specifically because Asta looks sillier than Super Yuno 2.

The assault on the Spade Kingdom has begun, with teams branching off to take out each of the Dark Triad. But it's not like the bad guys are going to fight fair so there's also a giant demon attacking the Clover Kingdom. Asta, we need you, get your act together... now please, because it just got worse.
That's the one thing about this series I don't like. The power creep. And this series in particular is bad about it because almost every villain battle is like fighting multiple Friezas. And then the heroes do it too!

- The man-hater fighting a woman she hates
- The goody goody nice boy being so nice spells don't affect him
- Edgelord fighting magically kingly lord
What compelling fights, right? Well... sort of. These villains are built up to be so big and bad and now we're going WELL ACTUALLY THE SUPPORTING CAST CAN ONE-SHOT THEM and it's just this mess of both sides throwing one-shots at each other left and right while yelling SURPASS YOUR LIMITS PLUS ULTRA.
Also Asta looks like a dork.
At least the supporting cast gets to pretend they can do something.

The main part of this arc for me will be Noelle's fight. Some how I feel like Asta's past was really glossed over quickly. There was no deep trauma there for Asta but definitely excited to see how his relationship with Liebe will get better.
And I do not trust the binding contract! It's equal and if it's equal it's going to be a disadvantage for Liebe and Asta if his body is taken over by lucifero.

The Clover Kingdom's assault on the Spade Kingdom begins, but the race to rescue Captains Yami and Vangeance might be futile against the Dark Triad's devil power. Meanwhile Asta's Devil Union training concludes, and it might just be in the nick of time.
Some great showings for Jack, Nacht, Charlotte, and Langris. And just when you think everything's going smoothly, it all goes even more wrong than usual. The escalation just keeps amping up.

Really great to see how all of the Captains and Yuno have powered up since the last time we saw them in action. I do like we also learn a bit more about them like we finally see a bit of Jack's history as he was one of the Captains we barely knew anything about. Yuno and Charlotte were also really cool to see them get new power ups especially Yuno. It is always really cool to see Asta finally get the respect from a lot of the Kingdom and the other Magic Knights.

There might not be another series with more posed moments within the book…but in the end its another entertaining volume. Believe it or not I felt there was less fighting in this volume. But I do think it sets up a pulse pounding volume to come after this one! The characters continue to engage you heavily and the theme continues to hold your attention. Art and story by Yuki Tabata blends perfectly with the angles and intensity.

This arc is still going strong. We’ve got most of the strongest Clover Kingdom magic knights going up against the dark triad, as well as other devils. Basically, this volume was action galore, with us getting to see the progressions of other side characters after the time skip. Over all, a solid volume and I’m excited to see where this arc goes next.

So long story short: everyone leveled up, really cool. Loved seeing Mereoleona again, my queen.
And all that was thrown out the window.
Because the gates opened sooner, more devils came out much stronger than the dark triad. Asta is the only hope (per usual) but there’s so many that somebody’s gonna die and I swear if it’s Yami I will cry myself to sleep.

Este tomo tiene una cantidad increíble de frustración. Vemos mil y un hechizos para acabar con los poseedores de demonios, incluso personajes que no esperabamos fuesen tan fuertes. Hasta ahí, hermoso todo, pero después se va todo al carajo...

Honestly I just love Black Clover. Seeing as the anime has ended and won't be continued anytime soon, I have to read the mangas.
This is the first real manga, I've read. So I was a little confused about the reading order at first. But I think, I got it now.
The characters are just amazing and the art style is so good.
