Hunted, banished, and desperate to rectify her errors.

The pressure is real. Capture the weaselly god, Loki, and his children will unleash their vengeance. Leave him free, and he will weave his deception with dire consequences. With banishment added to the mix, the only way to rectify the situation is to recapture Loki. It’s a demand Kara must accept.

Unable to return to Asgard, Kara is sent to the peaceful realm of Alfheim to enhance her light magic. Once again, trouble seems to find her, obstructing her path with dubious characters and smashing her judgment of who can be trusted.

The race is on to enhance her magic and capture Loki before he deceives her again. If she doesn’t, her exile will last forever.

This was another excellent addition to this series. I love this author's takes and adaptations to the old myths, and the way she brings them - as well as her characters - to life. I highly recommend this whole series to young lovers of dragons and mythology.

*NOTE: I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This fact has in no way influenced either my opinion of the book or the contents of this review, and all opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

This is the 4th book in the series and the fun continues. In Alfheim Kara continues to try and capture the sneaky, sneaky Loki.

I thoroughly enjoy the pacing, plot and world building that Author Cope bring to this series. The characters are enjoyable and the Norse mythology is just plain fun.

Note - you'll want to read the first 3 books in the series prior to this one.

I read an advanced copy of the book and have chosen to review it.

The need to improve their magic skills becomes even more evident. Arrangements are made to hopefully accomplish this. Once again, these characters are learning that good and evil, light versus dark, things are never cut and dry. Love the exposure to different forms of magic as well as these characters showing their insecurities along with their abilities. This makes them feel more believable. This storyline has been surprising me left and right and I am enjoying every line.

Kara is a magnet for danger

But she still manages to make friends along the way. Now, if Loki and his children would all fall in line, life might go a bit smoother.
