Alder Cobb is an older wolf, turned more than fifty years ago and aging crazy slowly. He is fully in control and knows who he is and what he wants, but he always feels like he doesn’t quite belong. For some time now, he’s been keeping an eye on a team of werewolves headed out to take care of missions, and he’s sure that something is off. The General that takes care of the team is a man he knows from previous military experiences and he’s not a good man. Alder decides to step in before something seriously goes wrong. He has it on good authority that the places the General is trying to recon are peaceful areas with people who don’t deserve the hell that will rain down on them when the General gets his way. He puts in a transfer request and he’s taken to join the team not long after. When he’s there, he meets a woman he was involved with a few years ago, a fling that he never really got over. At first, things are hostile, but when they hit it off again, it’s a chance for Alder to do it all again, and do it right this time.
This storyline is really starting to come together and even though you can read each book as a stand alone the underlying story flows through them all. This is another well, written story that flows and keeps you engaged
Alder Cobb is a wolf shifter that has been around a while and he gets himself transferred to the special ops elite as he knows there is trouble brewing He knows General Slater from the past and knows that he isn't a good man and is sure he is using the team for his own purposes Soon he is trying to solve what is going on but he has his own personal dram as well. Years earlier he walked away from Erica but he has never really forgotten her and now they are in the same town Will she give him another chance and can he get it right this time You will have to read to see
Alder deals with two missions in this storyline. He is out to watch a general who is sending his unit into innocent areas and he may have to stop him. He also finds his mate, who separated from him when he transferred, and plans on restarting their relationship. Too much to take on all at once or is it just enough to keep him on track. The characters are strong and determined. The action keeps you on the edge of your seat, especially with the new weird wolf. The twists are plenty and frequent. The team is closer but someone is going to get hurt. Well written with all the details that really make you feel a part of what is happening.

He took the mission to take down a corrupt General but did he lose his mate also? Ever since Alder took this mission and transferred to Georgia nothing is going as planned. He thought he would take down the General quickly but it’s been nine months and he hasn’t learned any new information about the General’s activities. And he lost his mate Erica when he transferred. Imagine his surprise then when he and his teammates to to the local bar and Erica is there with a friend instead of back East. But will Erica give him a second chance. She’s bitter and is possibly seeing a co-worker. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Alder and Erica have a past together. Alder choose his career over her and took a transfer and left her behind for a mission. Now years later they meet up again in Georgia and Alder tries to talk to Erica about what happened between them before they split. Nothing new has come up with his mission and now with Erica back in his life he wants to claim his mate. Will Erica give him another chance?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I have enjoyed the back story very much, enough to get me reading the rest of the series. Unfortunately, Erica was quite irritating to me. I understand that she’s been hurt, but her mood swings, her childish behaviour, her way of saying things and then pretend Alder said them, all that coupled with not owning how she behaves, was exasperating. Thank goodness for non-nonsense Elaine who does a heck of a job of putting Erica’s facts straight. Alder is a dear, trying to navigate through her maelstrom of unpredictability. A very hard job.
Hopping to the next book to see what happens next.
Another great book by Sammie Joyce in the series. Things are starting to come together now and I look forward to seeing the story progress. I liked the characters in this book in the main although Erica was a bit immature and whiny, Adler made up for it though! Well worth a read. Works as a standalone but probably better read in order.

The author continues to pull us into the lives of the Wolf Pack Special Ops Elite members. Adler transferred into this group, trying to stop General Slater. When Erica moves to Savannah from New York, she is trying to erase the memory of her ex. Too bad they end up in the same city. The story keeps you turning the pages with suspense, danger, action and love.

The fifth book in the Wolf Pack Special Ops Elite series a well written story that kept me turning pages. This is Alder Cobb and Erica's story of suspense, drama, danger, evil, a villain, and romance. But what was that thing, and is Dice going to be normal or a monster? I have to read the next book to see what happens. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Shifter’s Perception continues the story of the Wolf Pack Ops Elite Team and Sammie Joyce’s writing groove. Adler Cobb gets himself put on the team of a less than honest general in an attempt to protect a group of innocent people. In the process he runs into Erica, a lost love from his past. Now not only does he have to stop the general but he has to fight for a second chance at love.

I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

Exciting and stimulating segment in these stories of the special ops force. With many angles and twists all these stories are leading to a spectacular finish. I hope.

About a wolf shifter who finds his ex at a bar while hanging out with his new teammates. He is in a mission to take out his evil general and his team doesn't fully trust him
This is definitely an "OMG" addition to this amazing series! Alder has not bonted with the rest of the team and Slater noticed...you really need to read this exciting story!
