Brie and her son Josh find a dog in an abandoned house while they’re out for a walk. They call the Animal Rescue and soon Cole and his partner arrive. When Brie and Cole see each other they both become tongue tied. Brie agrees to foster the dog and Cole offers to help her out. The two are attracted to one another but will Brie’s past come knocking at her door? Brie is very strong to leave her horrible marriage and do what’s best for her son. Cole is an alpha male who just wants to protect Brie and Josh and create some happy memories. Awesome read for this new series. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Everyone needs a Buddy
COLE: is the first book in the Mountain Man Animal Rescue series and is another winner by Kate Tilney. This deliciously sweet and smexy short story is about Cole and Brie and her five year old son Josh. Oh and we can't forget the dog that brings them together, Buddy. Brie has moved her and Josh to Alaska to start over after getting a divorce. They have been there for about six months and settling in with their routines. One evening as Brie and Josh are walking around the neighborhood Josh sees a dog looking out the window of a home that has a foreclosure sign on the front door. Brie knows that the people who lived there have moved out so she calls the closest animal rescue organization she can find. Lucky for her one of the men that gets out of the truck is the very big and sexy Cole. Cole is taken immediately by his first look at Brie. Actually he is tripping over his feet and his tongue by her. Cole may be big and an Alaskan mountain man but he knows that he sees in Brie's eyes that she has been hurt by something. He wants her to be his so he knows he is going to have to take it slow and is willing to wait as long as it takes. Cole also immediately likes the young Josh who is a true animal lover just like himself.
I loved this well written and very entertaining book. The story-line is sweet, fun, sexy and at times emotional. The characters are nicely developed and they fit together really well. I was laughing at Brie at times as she is so awkward but innocently funny at the same time. She is a woman that you would love to have as a best friend. I can't wait to read the next in this series as I think the men of the Mountain Man Animal Rescue are going to be a sinfully sexy group.

Brie had married her high school sweetheart but soon after their son was born, she learned the hard way that her husband had a gambling problem. To pay his debts, he embezzled from his company and was sent to prison. Brie divorced him but she has problems with trusting men. She and her son move to start a new life. One night on their usual after dinner walk, they see a dog inside a foreclosed house. Brie is pretty sure it is abandoned and calls an animal rescue group. A little while later their truck pulls up and Brie is shocked by her quick attraction to Cole one of the workers.
Cole loves his job in animal rescue. When he and his partner are called in about a dog locked in a foreclosed house, Cloe is stunned by the beautiful woman who called them. When he sees her sons, he is sad to know she is married. Later he is relieved to hear she is divorced. This is book one in the Mountain Man Animal Rescue series. It’s a short, fast paced instalove story set in Alaska. I really enjoy this authors instalove stories. For a short book it contains a nice punch to the emotions. I loved Cole so much. He's so patient and gentle. He's willing to wait for Brie to be comfortable with him.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Brie is a single mom see a dog trapped in a home alone where no one will be back to see about it unable to get the dog out she calls animal rescue hoping they are able to help and who comes out but sexy Cole. Cole loves his job helping animals and upon seeing Bri it is love at first sight but Bri has trust issues when it comes to men due to her husband who is serving time in prison for embezzlement. Upon meeting they save the dog, and she is a foster home for Buddy and they get to know each other but will it be enough for her to trust in love again and believe in happiness?

Kate Tilney has become one of my must read authors and this book only reinforces that decision. Ms. Tilney has a way of grabbing onto your attention from the 1st page to the last with her amazing storytelling and world building, that's not always easy with a short story. Her characters are so delightful that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Cole and Brie's story is one of finding your soul mate after surviving a tragedy in the past and realizing that you have to have the courage to move on if you want your happy ending. This story has everything that you could want: comedy, action, drama, danger and of course hot romance. This gem of a book is the 1st in the Mountain Man Animal Rescue series and you will definitely be sorry if you miss this one. I can't wait for more books in this series.

Great start to the series
I'm really enjoying all the different Mountain Man series set in Alaska. This one was a great start to a new series premise of animal rescues. Single mom Brie and her son rescues an abandoned dog and have help from Cole whose jobs deals with rescuing all types of animals. When Cole and Brie meet chemistry is electric and they are instantly attracted. Trust is hard for Brie but she lets go with Cole. I will say her background story was a surprise and very interesting. So when her past came back on her, this made it a real page turner...some good action and Cole comes to the "rescue" again. I really really loved that epilogue so I'm all in for the next episode in the series.

This is a fast paced, insta love story with some drama, danger and steam. Cole is an animal rescuer and he and his partner get a call about a dog left in an abandoned house. When they pull up Cole gets knocked sideways by the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. Brie and her son Josh find a dog in an abandoned home and wait for the animal rescuers to show up. They end up getting buddy out of the house and having a vet check him but now they have to find a place for him to go. Josh will not let the animal go so Mom takes the dog in. This starts the healing that Brie needs to get past the hurt caused by Josh's Dad. Such a heartwarming story. I love this new series. I loved this latest story by Kate Tilney and I can't wait to read more in this series. Brie and her son are out for a walk when they see an abandoned dog in a home. They call the nearest Animal Rescue to get the dog. Brie doesn't expect to meet Cole though. Cole is equally swept away by her. Before she realizes it, she is agreeing to foster the abandoned dog. Cole agrees to help them out and hopefully will be able to spend more time with her. Brie and her son haven't had an easy time in life. Will Brie and Cole have a chance to see if they are meant to be?

Brie and her son are on a walk when they notice a dog in a foreclosed home. She calls an animal rescue service and is instantly taken with Cole. Cole is equally taken with Brie and Josh her son. They foster the dog and Cole checks up on them every day. Can Brie trust again after a really bad marriage? This is just a sweet warm story. It has hot guys and dogs, what could be better. I loved the characters and the story line. Fantastic book.

Cole and his partner, Huck, arrive and it is instant attraction for Cole which soon turns to love. This is returned by Brie. Brie fosters Buddy the dog which turns out great as he helps rescue her when her ex, Thom, attacks and threatens her. Cole and Huck arrive to help in the rescue due to a bad feeling Cole has. It is quick read but packs a lot into it.

*Spoiler* I loved this book! It has all of my favorite aspects. It has the single mom, Brie who has really persevered through her ex-husbands addictive and criminal behavior which sent him to jail. As a single mother she worked hard, had some help from family and started a new life for herself and her young son, Josh in a new home in Alaska. Then they rescue an abandoned dog (my favorite part) and meet a hunky Animal Control Officer, Cole. And the rest is their HEA.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Cole and Brie. She's a single mom, to Josh, and they are in Alaska starting over. When on a walk they discover an abandoned home with a dog inside. She calls animal rescue. When Cole and Huck show up they get more than they bargained. Brie let's herself enjoy time with Cole. When a gut feeling has him rushing to her house, he thankful he listened. Great HEA.

Brie is a single mom who has been put through the ringer with her ex. She has decided to focus on raising her son and not deal with men. However, on a walk one day meeting a abandoned dog changes all of this.
Cole is an amazing man. I love how much he cares for animals and how he was so concerned about putting both Brie and Josh at ease. He was a rescuer heart and this included both people and animals.

Great book. Cole feel in love at first sight. Brie had he wall up because of her ex husband. Cole slowly broke thru those walls. They text daily he got along with her son Josh. When she didn't reply back he knew something was wrong. They drive by and come to find out her ex husband was out of jail and there to claim his ex and son. But Cole and his co worker Buck had different plans for him. He ended up back in jail, they got their happy ever after

A great book taking place in Alaska. Brie and her son have moved here for a better life and to get aways from a past. But the past come back towards the end of the book. Loved Cole's character, even though he's in animal rescue, that's how he meets Brie and her 5 year son, they all get along great. HEA.

An enjoyable and exciting page turner and book one in the Mountain Man Animal Rescue series! The story line is well written, emotionally deep, well-developed, funny, and steamy with some issues. Love these books
Wow, Brie and her son that meet Cole rescuing an abandoned dog. Interest sparks when she decides to foster the dog. Cole starts checking on them after hours.
