Una cosita tan breve y tan apresurada que te quedas con cara de tonta al leerlo, no porque esté mal sino porque sabe a poco y, sinceramente, tampoco es gran cosa. Solo sirve para saciar la curiosidad por el destino amoroso de un par de personajes de la serie Hoops.

Damn. This was the story u didn't know that I needed. I freaking LOVE Quinn(duh). I loved her storyline and her character. I'm so glad that Kennedy gave her a quick, but sexy story, and with EAN! Loved it.

this is for novella 2 of 2 in “hoops shorts”. god, i love these two together! i needed a full-length book!!! quinn and ean were so perfect together and i’m greedy for more. this novella was such a nice surprise considering this romance was never hinted at in the core series, but i’m so glad kennedy cooked something up for these two and paired them together!
much like “full-court press”, this novella also follows two side characters from the core series and gives them a romance and happy ending of their own. i enjoyed this WAY more than the deck x avery novella though. no contest, whatsoever. both quinn and ean made for more compelling and alluring characters and so their romance was just, naturally, more engaging. their chemistry, their connection, their dynamic - loved!
i peeped ean’s stern-serious-sexy-clark-kent-basketball-genius max book husband potential from his brief side character appearances in long shot and hook shot, and oh boy, he came in clutch. give me a broody taciturn intense man any day of the week and i’ll be flailing and falling HARD. he was soooooo…hmmm 🫦. i loved how singleminded and obsessed he was about quinn. men who don’t play around >>>
i really liked quinn in her role as banner’s bestie in block shot, but i got to fall in love with her in her own story. beautiful, strong, inspiring - she was everything! her personal story, some details of which we got to learn in block shot, made this one more special and touching. i really liked how kennedy incorporated the disability / amputee representation. quinn had mad aura. she was that girl.
this was so cute, sweet, sexxxxxy and lovely, all in one. like i said, i would have gladly read a fleshed-out full-length novel about these two in lieu of a novella, killed for one even, but the novella was yummy all the same. but this would have been an easy 5 star read if there was more story and a slower burn because these specific characters and the utter tease of their dynamic in the form of a novella would have guaranteed it. since it issssss a novella, it does move fast (as to be expected) which is not my favourite thing. i’m really not a standalone novella girlie and they rarely do anything for me as they struggle to get me invested because of their fast pace and shorter length, by nature - but these two together though? magic. i was definitely eating out of the palm of this particular novella’s hand.

Yeah crying , throwing up, sliding down the wall cause I can’t believe this series is now officially over😩
But this was such a fun quick read! I was so happy Quinn got her book also and with Ean😍 to be quit honest I could have read a whole book about them, I loved everything about this!!! I happy Quinn got her happy ending!! 🤧
I loved that you saw a sneak peak of everybody else, got a little moment with them! And the epilogue was so wholesome even the dress moment. And yes I got a little bit emo 🤧

The obsession with Quinn is so real, like I don’t even blame Ean for it! I really enjoyed this little novella, Quinn is seriously just a queen and takes everything like a champ
