College-bound romantic Daniel Bae and Jamaica-born pragmatist Natasha Kingsley meet -- and fall for each other -- over one magical day amidst the fervor and flurry of New York City. Sparks immediately fly between these two strangers, who might never have met had fate not given them a little push. With just hours left on the clock in what looks to be her last day in the U.S., Natasha is fighting against her family's deportation just as fiercely as she's fighting her growing feelings for Daniel.
I became really emotional after reading this book. First of all, it consists of several short stories and a main love story which makes it interesting and offers numerous perspectives on life. The chapters were really short so it was easy to read. However, the story was very meaningful for me, especially the story of Irene and the end of the book.
It was a cute easy read when I first started reading, i don't remember much about it but I liked it back in the day. It was lowkey a typical romance story from a Netflix movie that any teenager would love. I rated it a two because right now i wouldn't really read it.
Too boring, not my type. Throughout the book, it’s only about immigrants and all that jazz. THE ENDING IS DISTURBING. What do you mean they kust call out each other name on the plane and that’s it????

Very quickly connected with characters. Short and sweet, beautifully told - day in the life style. Explores hope vs realism, fate vs science and the impact of one encounter or one moment on a life.
One of the best romance books I’ve read. It has an amazing journey and an expected ending but still a happy one that I actually prefer to what the reader was expecting to occur!
good audio book different readers making story better. Touching day in the life of 2 young adults and how we affect others lives with our random acts. Perfect ending
