Jeremy Clovenhoof is Satan, made redundant from Hell and sent to live in suburbia.
What is the worst that the world of mortals can throw at him?
2020 — The unforgettable year we’d all like to forget. The year of pandemic lockdowns, face masks, working from home and the utterly unnecessary panic buying of every toilet roll in the shop.
But how does Clovenhoof cope with this strangest of years? Enjoying his life of semi-retirement, he brings his own special skills and moral views to bear on the unique problems of life in Lockdown Britain.
Collecting the original fundraising Isolation Chronicle novellas together with additional previously unpublished adventures, this book is your essential guide to a remarkable year.
Another great romp of a book! How does Jeremy Clovenhoof deal with covid-19 and multiple lockdowns? Well, in the style we’ve come to know and love from Jeremy & Co! Lots of laughs and inappropriateness as usual from this mismatched bunch of friends.
Absolutely laugh-out-loud hilarious, also brought a tear to my eye in places. In years to come when my grand children ask what was it like to live through Covid I will ask them to read through this expose on human strength and resilience when confronted with a situation none of us were prepared for. Sparking some of the bizarrest behaviour in modern history enacted in homes and public venues throughout the world, the authors have captured everything in their signature light hearted style.
Enjoyable considering it's about covid lockdowns lol.
I think it's obvious that there was no big idea to pull it all together but I don't think it suffers because of that. Some funny moments and amusing situations, I found that I enjoyed the second half more than the first.
Unsure if I'll include this when I re read in the future but I enjoyed it much better than satan's shorts and trump of doom
