Killing Lord Boneclaw once wasn’t enough. The deadly elder dragon has returned through a combination of human and dragon magic, and he’ll stop at nothing to be avenged on those who wronged him in the past!
More than anything else, Boneclaw desires the powers Kylara Diamantine possesses. If he can steal her ability to learn new dragon powers, he’d be truly unstoppable. If Kylara is killed in the process, well, Boneclaw considers that a small price to pay…
But Kylara isn’t going to roll over and let him destroy her. Surrounded by allies both old and new, she’ll face down the monstrous dracolich Boneclaw has become.
She doesn’t have a choice. It’s time to win…or die.

Very disappointed in that the author seems to have run out of ideas related to creating a new foe/plot, but resurrecting a vanquished foe (Bone Claw) has made me put it on the back burner and might get back to it in a few months.
Unfortunately, it seems to be a recurring theme in the LMBPN group and it has destroyed a few burgeoning series and caused me to ignore them.
Fortunately I have a load of other really good authors with exemplory series to read.
And I certainly hope he's down for good. It would be cool to see Kylara grow into new powers and challenges. It would be totally awesome if Drew were to become a mentor for her. I liked the book and hope others are asking for more fleshed-out secondary characters--no pun intended. One superstar character is just not that satisfying for me. I prefer a whole cast--even if just a small one.
Learning so much new about yourself. When you and others suspect the worst about you and they take the wrong action. Time always solves the problem. Thankfully good mostly wins out over evil, but evil beat out other evil. Friends will stand by you till the end.
This is solid young adult series..the lead character is a female but I would suggested for middle school boys as well. Dystopia were Dragons-Mages-Humans-pixies live together. Setting is a Dragon/Mage School. Fighting-love-mystery..Great. Mrs.C💋
There is an amazing amount of story threads, yet they stay true!
Sometimes in a book series, the continuity suffers a few glitches. Movies and TV series as well. But I found none in this series. And I enjoy reading about characters that I admire
What a power struggle between mages and dragons. The portals and what comes out are a true testament of the imagination and the writers ability to bring them to life. This book will keep you rooting for the good guys, and reading way past your bedtime.
This character is kick a**, and is smart enough to let others help her. I highly recommend this exciting book, and the spectacular series in which it is, to all readers who love reading fast paced Fantasy. Enjoy!
So we face the big bad in this with a nice return to the steel dragon events. Things at school and life also look to bring plenty of action and hurdles for all our characters and i like how Sam and Karl especially interact.
Kristen finds herself challenged by a younger version of herself, as Kylara fights to protect those she loves. Another novel filled with action, determination, loyalty, love, and personal growth.
