So we follow Ghanshyam Shashtri, an aspiring detective, who have had no luck till now as he hadn't gotten even one case in his hand for the past two years. His mother was also tired of him and wanted to do him a proper job so that they could have a proper income. This was a nice story...with pretty simple language...good for a beginner...The way Indian society is, has also been portrayed really well... overall it was okaiysh plot wise but the writing was Bad, also need to be edited as there were grammatical and spelling errors but it kept me hooked as the story waa gripping but could do a better with improved writing...can make a Bollywood movie out of it.

Things becomes different for Ghanshyam Shashtri, a budding private detective when the son of a famous jeweler in Ahmedabad shoots himself on Diwali night, just before a month from his wedding. Police close the case citing it's a clear case of suicide. But nothing is ever quite simple as it seems. Now it's up to the young amateur detective to unveil the truth before everyone.

When police close the case of Vikram Patel citing that it's a suicide case and there's nothing else to conclude from the case, the victim's fiance hires a private detective and then his quest begins.

Quite an interesting storyline with good plot development. I won't say the plots were very much enjoyable but it's quite engaging. As we read further we came to know that Ghanshyam Shashtri is an inexperienced detective who's zeal is to be a renounced detective. Throughout the book I've come across many faces of him, so I felt his character is well sketched but other than that all other characters are ill developed.

However I found some unnecessary plot development. In the middle of the book, there are some private moments of Ghanshyam with his girlfriend, which has no relation with the actual plot. That part is unnecessary for me.

One thing I liked is the simple writing style, because of that this book is quite light-hearted, there's no such suspense and thrill we feel in some detective stories so it's a beginner friendly book.

Being a diehard fan of detective fiction, this book turned out to be a bit flat for me. But overall a good book for beginner readers and those who are new to this genre.

Ghanshyam Shashtri is crime investigation novel set in Ahemadabad, Gujrat, India. A young man Commits Suicide just a month before his wedding, Ghanshyam Shashtri A private investigator comes into the picture to find the reason for it!! So basically that's the story!! Without getting into many Spoilers here is my review of the same.
Writing and Editing: I would Appreciate the writing in the book. It is a pretty easy read, The language is pretty simple, even if you are not an avid reader, this book can be finished pretty fast, all the credit goes to easy writing by the author. So that's a plus one on the favour of the book.
Coming to Editing, I felt, even if its a short read, some parts where the personal life of the detective was depicted, must have been avoided. I mean, me as a reader, I was more interested in the Crime part rather than the personal life of the detective. And Major let down was Some serious typo just for example there was a point where "Son" was Spelled as "Sun". Hence that made the book lose 0.5 points.
Characters: Yes there are quite a few characters in the book. The main character Ghanshyam Shastri the investigator, it was mentioned that it was his first case, so the amateur kind of behaviour may be a creative choice which was kind of nice, that made the book earn a point in its favour. The rest of the characters, I mean Ghanshyam's mother, sister and even girlfriend were little melodramatic, this is even true to some of the relatives of the victim too.
Storyline and Narration: The book is narrated in Ghanshyams Point of View, which I found it nice like it is always better to read an investigation thriller form the investigator's point of view itself.
But then the plot itself was not that intriguing, there were not any suspense elements as such, there was nothing unique in the storyline

So, in conclusion, I would like to say, If you looking for an easy light-hearted Investigating story, then give this a go, if you looking for a nerve recking suspense mystery then this book might disappoint you
Easy Writing, and Story developing from the investigators POV and For the first case of Ghanshyam Shashtri I would rate this a 2.5/5.

As a reader, I immensely love and prefer to read detective stories. So when I got to know about this book which revolves around an Indian detective my interest spiked up even more.

The summary at the back of the book was quite enticing and was able to attract me towards it. As a whole the plot was very unique and I must say the author has properly structured and executed it.

But I felt some spaces in the writing were a little unsatisfactory. Like I encountered a few contextual and grammatical error. Maybe good editing would solve this problem. But all in all I enjoyed the story entirely and no wonder it was quite engaging.

The language used is quite simple, and the characters are very relatable. So for a light yet engaging read, do go for this book!

Ghanshyam Shastri is a detective mystery novel thats gonna keep on the edge till the end.
Vikram Patel, son of famous jeweller commits suicide on Diwali night, leaving behind a suicide note (blaming noone). It seems a clear cut case of suicide but his fiance isn't convinced and wants the reason behind his death. She hires 26 years old Ghanshyam Shastri to solve this case.

I loved how the author added romance and a bit of humour in the book. Probably one of best detective mystery novel by an Indian author.

Find out yourself how Ghanshyam Shastri solves his first case and puts the murderers of Vikram Patel behind the bars.

There's a new detective in town (metaphorically, of course), and now it has become even more difficult to choose a favourite. Detective Ghanshyam Shashtri: as quirky the name, so is his game! He gives away such a "panauti" (loser) vibe, that it's hard not relating to him.

The story is not so much of the actual case, but of the journey of the detective throughout the case and much more. It's really great to get to know the detective mind, what goes in there, and to try to solve the mystery with them as the story progresses. As he said, "everyone has a hidden detective in himself".

The storytelling is really amazing and its pace is really fast. The characters have been described accurately through Detective Shashtri's eyes, and the communication with the readers is worth appreciating too!

There were barely a few things which could have been better (just like any other book/work); one of those would be the minor (but, repetitive) bugs with the grammar and language. The book has been written in Indian English (yes, that's a thing; don't fight me), which is interesting and accurately understandable for Indian readers. Not so sure about the global community though.

Having said all that, I'm so happy to announce the arrival of Detective Ghanshyam Shashtri in the Indian crime world. Can't wait to read where his next case takes him!

Ghanshyam Shashtri (Ganesh + Shyam), a 26 old guy, profession being a detective was given a ultimatum by his mother to wrap up this profession if he doesn't gets a case within 15 days. As expected, he didn't manage to get the case. One night he got an unexpected call. A high profile case indeed. Vikram Patel, son of a famous Jeweler in Ahmedabad shoots himself on Diwali night, just before a month from his wedding. The police close the case, citing personal problems as the reason as mentioned in the suicide note. But his fiancé and his father wants a serious investigation in this case. Grab the book and find out how he solves this case and how Ahmedabad gets a new hero.
.
Loved this book. An absolute page turner. The author, Saras Azad has done a commendable job. The way he made us travel to Ahmedabad and Ghanshyam's life through pages has been an amazing. The characters were portrayed very excellently. To be honest, either I am bad at guessing or the author has an amazing sense of completely changing the plot at end. The book somewhat gave me chetan bhagat's books vibes. There were some grammatical errors in the book and some convos between the protagonist and his girlfriend which seemed stretched. Overall this is a light read and beginners can read this book as it has lucid narration. And lastly, I am waiting for the sequel🐧✌..

You must have guessed from the title itself the book is a detective fiction.

The said detective, Ghanshyam Shastri is solving his first case, which he got almost two years after starting his career as a private detective. So you can say he is an inexperienced or an incompetent one but don't too underestimate him.

Coming to the case Vikram Patel, son of a famous Jeweler in Ahmedabad shoots himself on Diwali night, just before a month from his wedding. The police close the case, citing personal problems as the reason as mentioned in the suicide note. But the victim's fiancé is not satisfied and wants to know the real reason. So our inexperienced detective is hired to solve this high profile case. Will he be able to solve the first case of his life? ( For that you need to read yourself)

Well as a detective fiction lover I didn't find the book upto my expectations but if you are new to this genre then you can surely give this a try.

The writing style of author was good but I would have enjoyed it more if a little bit of more thrill and suspense was added in the story. It was not like too predictable but it wasn't too difficult to guess as well. With a good pace story is narrated from first person POV and the language used is simple as well.

Overall it was a good one time read and reccomended to all who are looking for a light read.

Book Title: Ghanshyam Shashtri
Author: Saras Azad
Format: Paperback

Book Title:
The title of the book ' Ghanshyam Shashtri ' is different because it is based on the central character's name.

Book Cover:
The book's cover image is a young man looking at a clue map that usually the detectives or police personnel use to solve a mystery. The image is apt to the story.

My review:
It's been a long time since I read Indian Detective stories. This book by Saras Azad happens to be the first in 2021. Indian detective stories have the local flavour of the family bond, sentiments, and some drama that often overpowers the story's main track. As I read this, the plot started at a good pace nut somewhere the story started tilting towards the unwanted side. Although there are hiccups, the story will surely please the readers who like simple and engaging stories that do not require much of the analytical brain.

I recommend the book for beginners who will like the story and get entertained.

What I like:
1. The helplessness of a detective who strives for work
2. The suspense element in the story is retained on a good grade even though it was predictable.
3. Ghanshyam's approach to solving the mystery

What I didn't like:
1. The tiny font
2. Few spelling errors
3. Dragged and unimportant sub-plots
4. Some explicit content between the characters which doesn't fit in the story.

Characters:
There are quite a few characters in the story, including the main characters of Ghanshyam and Vikram. Though the other characters that pertain to Ghanshyam's family are well written, the over drama was unwanted.

Narration:
As the story is about a detective, the interesting point is the narration is in the first person, i.e. Ghanshyam himself. Though the narration is engaging, the predictable plot and unwanted sub-plots are a face-off.

Language & Grammar:
The language used in the story is simple and not complicated. There are a few spelling errors that must have been taken care of.

My Final Verdict:
Book for readers looking for light reads

Book Title: 3/5
Book Cover: 3/5
Inside the book: 3/5
Characters: 3/5
Narration: 3/5
Language & Grammar: 3/5
Final Rating: 3/5

Ghanshyam Shashtri, a private detective, has not received a single case since he opened his agency two years ago. Finally, he gets the case to investigate the suicide case of Vikram Patel, son of a famous jeweler. His fiancee is dissatisfied with the real reason for Vikram's death being uncovered. Ghanshyam starts his work but the case turns to be more complicated as time goes.
.
I have to say, the book cover is absolutely fantastic! It is sure to grab the attention of every passerby. The reason why Ghanshyam got his name is nice to know at the beginning of the story. The family struggles and the bond between children and a parent when the other parent has passed away is expressed beautifully in this book. The energy of a new detective can be felt in many parts. There were a few Hindi dialogues in the book which I couldn't understand. I wasn't very comfortable with the pace of the story because I felt that the important parts of the story weren't elaborated well as it should have been, rather they were in the same pace as the rest of the story. A few grammatical errors can be found which could have been edited easily. This is a wonderful read which shares the practical situation of a man like Ghanshyam.

The book is about an unemployed detective, Ghanshyam Shastri. Though Ghanshyam is quite optimistic about his career his mother and society judge his profession by saying you can't earn much from this profession.
.
Ghanshyam gives his last try by giving an ad and from here things start changing for him.
.
Ghanshyam receives a murder mystery case to solve. He is appointed by Rajni whose fiance, Vikram Patel, son of well-known jeweler of Ahmedabad commits suicide by shooting himself on the pious occasion of Diwali.
.
The love for Vikram in the heart of Rajni makes her believe that Vikram can't commit suicide that too when they were going to marry in just 1 month.
.
What happened with Vikram? Was he depressed about something? Was he murdered? Can Ghanshyam prove his abilities by solving this case?
.
The story is quite interesting and full of suspense. I didn't take much time to finish the book because the trigger to know the reality was always burning inside me.
.
Throughout the book, with smooth narration, the book will not allow you to move without completing. I always love reading mystery novels and this book did justice to my expectations.

Book name: Ghanshyam Shashtri:
Case one: Investigation begins.
Author: Saras Azad
The book "Ghanshyam Shashtri " is an amazing read. The book has a story of a man named Ghanshyam Shashtri who has endless struggles in his life from being a beginner in his profession to failing to earn money for his livelihood. He is a struggling private detective in Ahmedabad. He lives with his sister and mother. He is mocked by his neighbors for not earning enough money. The real story starts when Ghanshyam Shashtri gets his first case as a private detective.
The case is, Vikram Patel is found dead in his room on diwali night just one month before his wedding. Police closed the case as postmortem says that he shot himself but his father and fiance are not satisfied with the investigation. So they handover the case to Ghanshyam Shashtri.
See what happens next.
How Ghanshyam Shashtri solves the case with almost no clue.

This story is about Ghanshyam Shashtri who wants to be a famous private detective but is still struggling to get his first case. His mother had given him an ultimatum to get a case or chose another job which will help them financially.

On the other hand, the son of a famous jeweller in Ahmedabad shot himself dead on Diwali night. His fiance wants the case to be investigated by Ghanshyam for she thinks there is something more to the suicide. Lucky to get his first case Ghanshyam gets into action immediately and is determined to solve the crime.

Was it suicide or murder?
Will Ghanshyam be able to prove his worth?
Will he solve the case or will he lose his first case?

The story as it progresses has a lot of twists and turns and a bit romantic touch as well. The investigation of suicide takes an interesting turn every time. The author has narrated the story very interestingly to keep the readers hooked till the end. The language is very simple and lucid.

Ghanshyam shastri is a private detective who's still waiting for his 1st case. He is the elder and bread earner in the family, his mom asked him to leave this job and find something meaningful to earn some money. As he was about to leave this profession he finally received his 1st case.

The case is of vikram patel who shots himself on diwali night, just before a month from his wedding. Is it a suicide or a murder? Will ghanshyam be able to solve the case? Will he be start earning or leave this profession? To know all these questions just grab this book and find out.

My view-
The story is gripping and can be completed in a day . As it's a murder mystery , there is ample twists . I really like the book. The language is pretty simple and the cover is totally showing the story of the book. And it's great to see our Indian author write the murder mystery with such twists and turns.

The only thing which is bit off is i found it bit predictive otherwise it's a good read.

Definately recommended to all murder mystery lovers.

Ghanshyam Shastri is the story of Ghanshyam Shastri whose dream is to be a successful private detective. As he has spent 1 year with no cases to investigate, he decides to give up and find a new job as instructed by his mom.
But before that, he asks 15 days more to give last chance to his dream.
The actual story starts after he gets the call on the last day to investigate the case of the murder-suspected-suicide of a 30 year old rich man.
The book is fast paced which made me complete the book at one sitting. Though the story didnot felt drab ,it went inadequate to produce a thrill.
The suspense was somewhat expected. The narrative style being lucid and easy , the characters were perceived slack.Especially Ghanshyam, who claims to read a lot of detective, was discerned as inept in his skills and the questions he asked considering that its his first case.Apart from Ghanshyam ,other characters were passable. Weighing these few flaws you will not get bored reading it, unless you are expecting thrill and suspense.
To conclude it was an okayish read for me.

Review

This is the first book which is indian and about a detective one and liked it very much and I would like to read more and more about ghanshyam shastri If author will come up with new book and for this book I would congratulate him as this book have the potential and worth reading.

I am very much impressed with the author work and this book is riveting and very gripping and can be read in one go as when I started I couldn't myself savour it fully but due to some reason I had to stop and now as I finished it I totally loved it.

I feeled that the story is slow paced and some grammatical errors but it can be ignored as the story is engrossing and have a ending that have a essence of detective Pairot I feeled it but I would not say it is like Pairot one just the essence.

The language is lucid and narration is up to mark with a mystery which will make you fan of the detective Ghanshyam Shastri.

Glimpse in a blink

Ghanshyam Shastri lives in Gujarat Ahmedabad with his family, he is just twenty six years old and from the childhood he wanted to be a detective and became one and from past two years he have declared himself a private Detective but yet not got his first case but he trying very hard to get one and one last time he had put up a advertisement about his detective service.

The financial condition of Ghanshyam is not good as his father is no more and only his maternal uncle help him to sustain his business and his mother have given him a deadline to end this detective service.

The night he half closed his detactive agency he got a call from a unknown number and Ghanshyam Shastri got a case.

Which is closed after investigation from the police as they didn't found any clue and closed the case but the fiancee of dead man wanted to know the truth why her finance killed himself or someone killed him.

To know more go grab this book and start reading.

Happy reading and keep inspiring others to read and savour book.

In Ahmedabad, a talented guy named Ghanshyam Shashtri wants to establish his career as a detective but haven't bagged a case yet. At the verge of giving a full stop to his career, he gets his first case. Its a high profile suicide case of Vikram Patel. Beginner friendly and elegant language. The character Ghanshyam is written in an apt away. Apart from the case, few perks of Ghanshyam's life could also be seen. There is a huge suspense veiling at the last chapter. Plot is entertaining and engaging till the end. The best part I would mention is that there wasn't any unexpected stretches. I personally felt that romantic encounters with Madhuri could not have been included. Other than that, if you are looking for an engaging thriller read, I would suggest this book. Hope this series continues.

Murder mysteries are very captivating to read. You are constantly wondering who the killer could be and doubting every character who comes in frame which is very engaging to me.

Gansham Shastri is a detective novel. The said detective is yet to receive his first case and when a big one comes his way he is determined to nail it. I liked Gansham and the rest of the characters. I liked the writing and the perfect balance of the case and his personal life. I liked how author tried to add a bit of comedy too.

Though the mystery aspect was missing from the book it surely is one that captures your attention and the ending was well constructed. It was predictable and the suspense factor was not quite there. But I finished it because of the writing which was fun to read. I am looking forward to the next book in the series as the second book is always better imo.

Book- Ghanshyam Shashtri
Author- Saras Azad

Reviewed by Umi pandey

Tittle- The tittle is so accurate for a detective book like this. In earlier days, we have heard about detective Byomkesh Bakshi. The tittle gives me a vibe like that one. It may make readers more curious about reading this book.

Cover- I have read the Author's Raebareli Romance and believe me it was awesome. So, I was expecting same genre at this time too. But, the Author did a phenomenon job this time by choosing a very creative genre. The cover was designed accordingly and I appreciate that . The Cover especially made me chose this book.

Blurb- The blurb is written well and it's exactly like a detective book's story. It describe the first step of Ghanashyam Shashtri very shortly. People would be more interested towards reading the book after having a look on it's blurb.

Storyline- the story begins with the conversation between mother & son. Ghanshyam Shastri's mother asks him to stop doing the non-sence and start earning for real to have a stable leaving. Then, what the non-scence is ? It is his passion. The passion of being detective and fullfilling his dream. Ghanshyam Shastri belongs to a average middle class Indian family in Ahemdabad. He wants to be detective which will pay him a good Money. Many ups & downs are already happening in his life but he chose be patient and takes 15 days to prove himself. In the meantime, the murder of Vikram Patel gives a big break to his career. After not getting exact information from the police , Vikram's fiance chose to hire a private detective in the case. The detective happens to be Ghanshyam Shastri . Well, he has solved small cases before that. But , this time ,it was a professional one and he will have to prove himself. It would be more interesting to read whether he get success or not ?

Everyone will know the story and its after reading the book. But , Ghanshyam Shastri is more than that. How a middle class person have to give up their passion to fullfill family needs. There are thousands of Ghanshyam Shastri out there . But , the thing is they all aren't detective and that makes a lot of difference in our society.

I would like to recommend this book to everyone who love detective stories.

🔎Is this suicide as straight as it looks? Will Shashtri be able to tackle his personal demons? Will he be able to successfully solve the case?
Witness Ghanshyam Shashtri, his first case & his personal life, to get all the answers!
🔎The cover is attractive. The storyline is definitely interesting. The author has tried to add flavours of humour, love, suspense & contrasting scenarios, to make it entertaining.
🔎But(this is a huge but), the entire narrative is filled with grammatical flaws (& some amount of spelling errors) which is certainly a big drawback. The first quarter feels completely unedited! The language is simple but the narration is pretty underwhelming. There are certain romantic references which are quite cheap from my POV. I certainly didn't like them much but, it depends upon personal preferences. (Also, so many statements felt like word by word translation of Hindi statements & not original English sentences, which makes the matters worse. I don't know how to express it, but I hope you understand.)
🔎The storyline has a great scope but all the above mentioned flaws make it completely disappointing. The entire book needs a few rounds of thorough editing to make it much more appealing & gripping for the readers.

QOTD : WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST READ OF 2020?

"No plan is perfect which is made to commit a crime"
"Everyone has a hidden detective in himself"

"I will definitely save you, given that you are not a culprit"

TITLE: Ghanshyam Shashtri
AUTHOR: Saras Azad
PAGES: 196
RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

First of all, I need to acknowledge the fact that the cover is so beautifully done! ✨ I really liked the illustrations on the cover.

Okay so, getting into the story, we are met with Ghanshyam, a new-in-the-town detective. He struggles for two years before getting his hands on a case. Financially, his family is not that strong and they are struggling. When it comes to his love life, that ain't going very well either. His maiden case is regarding the suicide of Mr Vikram. Ghanshyam goes through a lot of challenges during the process, as it is his first case. But, he was determined to find the reason for the suicide, and he was not one to give up. He goes to all depths to expose the truth.

Ghanshyam comes up with a few theories as to why Mr Vikram might have committed suicide, but he finds it hard to find concrete proof for any of those theories. And so, he keeps digging in various places; he investigates a bunch of different people and goes through multiple scenarios.

The plot twists in the book are very smooth and not very abrupt. That was quite enjoyable. Overall, the book was fast-paced and I finished it within a day.

All the characters in the story were very well-built. The writing was simple and easy to read and so this is a book that anybody can pick up. The plot was very very interesting. You would not be able to put the book down, once you start it. But, at some points in the book, there were grammatical errors, which should have been corrected out during the editing time. But the plot made up for it. It covers all aspects of a good detective story - suspense, humour, action - and a good storyline.

⭐ 4/5

Thrill, adventure, mystery, suspence was never my list.

I always wondered why people choose it for read.

To be in this world and being an extrovert I never thought things should be kept inside.
But this novel cleared my mind that mystery and suspence can be a genre to honour.
The profession opted by Ghanshyam Shashtri is not so popular, and here is the explanation "Everyone want to earn but taking a path of difficulties is a taste of waste for everyone."

Ghanshyam Shashtri 26 years old young man......who wants to be streamed as a detective, but his career was at sake and was totally dependent upon the last advertisement published by him in a newspaper.

When lady luck is with you even a day can do miracle so does happen in this case. He got his final goal on the very last day of his careers Survival. He was hired for the case of a famous Jewelers son, Vikram Patel whose death was declared as a suicide by the police and the case was closed. I heard he shot himself with his gun on his head at diwali night, but why would one do that? And it's hard to believe because the next month was his wedding with his beloved. Life at this ease can't be a takenover. The family wasn't accepting it as a suicide. And even they should not because they know their person more then anyone else can do. To find out the real reason his fiancee hired Ghanshyam Shashtri as a detective agent for his case. And wonders happened thereafter.
Even the love between Ghanshyam and Madhuri is a feeling to be much nourished.

I enjoyed every bit of this writing, reading this felt like a suspicious movie going through the eyes. I can say that I was the part of investigation too, where i had to keep the secrets between us two. This book made me learnt patience to deal with things. And this made me believe how much we should appreciate this profession. One thing what I want to say to the readers is that demand it on Netflix MUCH FUN it would be.
@sarasazad a great one it was.

‘Ghanshyam Shashtri’ by Saras Azad is a book that revolves around the murder of a man named Vikram Patel who is also the son of a famous jeweller. Ghanshyam Shashtri always wanted to be a detective ever since he started reading his dad’s detective novels. Soon he takes this seriously and starts a detective agency but to his disappointment he wasn’t getting any work as expected. There is news about suicide which has happened and Ghanshyam is sceptical about it being more than a normal suicide case. To Ghanshyam’s surprise he is appointed by Vikram’s fiancée to investigate the matter as she too feels that there is something more going on which no one knows. As the investigation is going on there are too many people who are under the radar of doubt. What is the mystery behind Vikram Patel suicide? Is it really a suicide? If it isn’t a suicide what could be the motive of the killer behind murdering Vikram Patel? To know read ‘Ghanshyam Shastri’.
My Thoughts:
The plot is simple and author has maintained the mystery till the end. The ending was really unpredictable and will surely blow readers mind. I liked how the author has kept the readers guessing about what or exactly who must have done what but not revealing anything till the end. I felt the story was a bit stretched in between but apart from that it was a good read.
Characters are well developed and mysterious. The mystery element in the characters has been maintained by the author throughout the book. Each character has a different side to his personality which makes them more realistic and relatable. There were a few things which I didn’t like about our protagonist but that too we can say is a part of how we actually are which makes the character realistic.
Language is simple and lucid. The cover page is interesting and apt to the plot. The title of the book is also apt to the plot.
Overall, it was a good read and would suggest this book to someone who is looking forward to read something short.

FAB - BOOK REVIEW OF "Ghanshyam Shashtri" by Saras Azad

Genre - Fiction (Crime)

Rating - 3/5

QOTD: Any Crime genre book you read that disappointed you?

"Ghanshyam Shashtri" is the last book that I read in 2020 and winded up the year. I had some high expectations on this book to e good, but this book disappointed me heavily. I believe that the book should connect to the reader even after completed reading. Still, I felt disconnected after I finished reading the book. Like I parted immediately with the characters and the story too. I had written a good amount of drafts of this book review and putting up the final one for you all.
.
Ghanshyam is a 26-year-old detective who has no practical experience in the field but has a detective investigation place and running it somehow though he is in a financial crisis. He has been humiliated by society as he hasn't got even one case to solve. Everyone thinks that it is not up to his caliber but. In contrast, Ghanshyam is just looking for a chance to prove himself and just show his caliber to all, and that chance came in by the name of Rajini. She approached Ghanshyam to ask him to solve a case. The payment is also a considerable amount for him, so he accepted it and started solving Vikram Patel's mystery, the son of a famous jeweler in Ahmedabad.
.
This book's drawback is the writing, which lacks its intestines as this is a crime genre. We expect some intenseness, which is the most significant lacking point of the book. I didn't connect to the characters, and it felt like a slow paced book. I can predict the story as I read a lot of crime genre, and I doubt the suspect/s from the start. So if these changes were made the book would be much better.
