Kevin Barry is an Irish writer. He is the author of two collections of short stories, and the novel City of Bohane, which was the winner of the 2013 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.
As with all these volumes, beautifully produce and a really interesting mix of images and words. It's an annual exposure to writing that I ordinarily wouldn't come across. The individual contributions vary in quality and impact but all are worth a read.
