It’s New Year’s Eve. Jackson Crow and Angela had planned on being in the office, and then home to see in the new year with their children--who might or might not be awake at the magic hour.
But Adam Harrison came in, bringing a strange note warning of dire consequences just after the stroke of midnight.
Was the note—found between a coffee cup and a saucer a real warning against a random patron in the café, or a more specific threat against the man who discovered it? Was it possibly a prank, or was the threat far too real?
With no hard leads, the two will head out, determined to discover the truth and perhaps avoid a` tragedy as the old year gives way to the new.

I do love these characters as well as many of the others who inhabit other areas and places throughout her world. This author is really good at world-building and the creation of people who stand out for their very many talents. This is a contemporary world that resides right alongside our own with just a few differences. This takes place during the starting months of the pandemic and reflects what was going on then including the wearing of masks in public.

This was a perfect interlude and I am looking forward to more lengthy stories.
Always enjoy reading a story about the Krewe of Hunters. These short holiday books are packed with mystery and are quick reads. Angela and Jackson are called in again on a case on New Year's Eve. They only have a few hours until something terrible could happen. Will they figure it out before midnight?
2020 was ending and the story plays on the hopes for a better 2021. Angela and Jackson are trying to stop a crime with only a few hours left. Adam brought it to their attention so he and his son Josh make an appearance in this story. It is fast paced and Angela is amazing with her seductive reasoning. Good read with a sweet and poignant ending.
This short story was both absolutely gut wrenching and heart warming. Generally with a story as short as this, I don't get the feels, but with this one it had me gasping and hard crying. It packed so much emotion into so few pages, I definitely recommend it, but also recommend perhaps keeping a box of tissues close 😅
Quick but interesting Krewe of Hunters story featuring Jackson and Angela Crow. When Adam calls them in to investigate a possibly threatening note, they're not sure what to expect. Can they solve the puzzle before it's too late?
Another wonderful short story from the Krewe of Hunters series!! It's New Year's Eve and a mysterious note is found at a cafe. Angela and Jackson race to found the truth. is it a prank or a threat?
Really enjoyable story with enough intensity and paranormal activity without the horror. Characters warm and likable. The only thing that bothers me was the typos. That's something you don't normally see in a Heather Graham book. There was a satisfying conclusion.
I love Heather’s short stories and she didn’t disappoint with this one. They give such a good message amongst this craziness these days. Hope. This was a tear jerker at the end, loved it!
This was short but great. All her books are great. I think I have read 200 + books of hers . my favorite series is this one and her romance books are good and the mysteries are the best. I love the paranormal ones the best. Diana Romano
A nice little mystery that's perfect for New Years Eve. Iackson and Angela help a threatened cafe find the solution to a threatening note. The solution turns out to help more than the cafe. And they manage to do it before midnight.
Angela and Jackson investigate a possible death threat in this short story. Not too much mystery and no ghosts other than Adam Harrison’s son. Angela is instrumental in solving this one and her kind heart saves the day.
Really Good. Makes Us SEE past the Bad to a Better New Year
Hear her is such aGood Writer, in ALL HER KREWE BOOKS THE PROPLE ALL SEEM REAL… BUT WITH THE EXTRA LITTLE TWIST…….YOU FEEL YOU CAN MEET ANY OF HR CHARTERS AND JUST BE NORMAL AND FRIENDLY….. THEY ALL SOUND LIKE REAL PEOPLE. WITH THE EXTRA SPECIAL SPICE….PLEASE KEEP THE KREWE GOING….
I may not have a title but I read another holiday short by Heather Graham it is 2023. It was a great story since it worked for this year as well hers are the only books I can read more than once and enjoy them all over again!
Yet another interesting twist by heather Graham. This story has an interesting plot wortha read. Quite a few unexpected twists to get ot the end . I hope you enjoy it. Short concise.
Hoped for the best in New year's eve too. So far 2021 not much better. Even with vaccines, still have to wear masks until 85% of population inoculated and at least 25% are refusing!
