As of rn finished season 1, for the second time (first time was 2022, documented under another version, by NOT A BOOK) love the FL and hope she becomes the ruler, that would be a badass underdog moment

he’s just so in love with his bird 🫡 (and what a responsible bird she is! god, don’t you love a story where a princess turns into a bird??)
honestly thinking about reading the novel, because the story is so complex and intriguing. it‘s pretty dark at times, exploring the political machinations of war and it still manages to deliver on the comedic relief. love it so far, can’t wait to continue!

Манхва (79 глав; онґоінґ) + новела (завершена, наскільки я зрозуміла)
Принцеса стала пташкою генерала і закрутилося політичне романтичне фентезі. На відміну від багатьох ця новела/манхва не така клішована і Гг не однотипні. Місцями дратували сцени, де Гг соромляться одне одного, але це словбьорн, тому допустимо.
Рекомендую всім, кому набридли ісекаї і типовий криндж.

The Kingdom of Roymond is at war, and her children need to survive. 8th Princess Zeline doesn't mind being the sacrificial bait if it means she can help secure the survival of her elder sisters, the most likely candidates to ascend the throne. But luck has other plans for her when she wakes up in the body of a messenger bird - how is our secretly royal bird going to win the trust of her sister's fiancé, the Commander of her Kingdom's army?
If you think about it i really did read the two manhwa about humans possessing birds back to back, this gives me joy lol. Falcon Princess has an out-there premise but it's actually a quite hefty read about the consequences of war and the burden of responsibility. Zeline is well aware that as a bird she is more capable of contributing directly to fhe war efforts than she ever could as a Princess, and that weighs upon her as she navigates her newfound feathers. All in all a rather thought-provoking manhwa with a little touch of comedy and the softest strangers-to-partners-to-lovers romance (totally worth it to see what happens when the Commander realizes who his birdie assistant is...!)
Something I really appreciated: Zeline thinks of herself as a human, but when we look at her through the eyes of others, she is a bird. I think the artist really had fun playing with this...
(Accurately, this rating weighs closer to a 4.5!)
