Stuck in the deadly Hatterthon game, Rose reaches the finals and must face-off with those she loves...and those she's falling in love with.
Facing her enemies is easy. Rose doesn't flinch when she takes another player's life. All she wants is to go home and she'll do anything to get there.
But when friends become enemies and new-flames burn brighter than shooting stars, the black and white world she lives in starts to turn grey at the edges.
Rose thought she would do anything to get home to Crooked Grove, a village lost to the rebels, but secrets unravel like ribbons in the Hatterthon, and she soon learns that the Hatterthon never intended on letting her go... And neither did Night...
When not writing, Klarissa can be found in bed poring over a great new release, or reluctantly walking her demanding dogs who pretty much run the house.
She is not-so-secretly the writer, Isla Jones. Isla uses the pen-name Klarissa for fantasy and writing, while using Isla Jones for her darker, grittier horror works.
No words! Blown away with the world building.. So dark, creepy scary at times, gruesome but also has its beautiful seductive moments between H&h. Loved the tea time scene with the Hatter and company but loved the reveal at the end most of all. Can't wait for books 3&4
