Rate this book
Blake: Planning my twin brother’s wedding seemed like a feat on its own. But I’m the only family he’s got left, and really, I couldn’t be happier for him. Turns out, planning a wedding isn’t so hard, especially when the other best man is such a big help. Of course, I wasn’t expecting to have to share a bed with the man or to discover he’s a cuddler and a little handsy. Finding out he wasn’t as straight as I thought was a surprise, but not as surprising as finding out that apparently, neither am I.

Sean: I always dreamt of the day my little brother would get married. Planning the perfect wedding for him and the love of his life is a dream come true. Blake’s help has been invaluable, and I’m glad we’ve been able to grow closer over the past few weeks. It only took an accident, followed by a little courage on his part, to change everything, however. Now, my new friend is becoming so much more, and I’m not sure where we’re headed. How can you have a relationship with a man who’s spent his whole life being straight?

Two grooms, and one wedding. Two best men, and only one bed. How will it all add up in the end for Blake and Sean?

Loved this one

Ooh Blaine and Eric's wedding provides a fabulous setting for Blake to realise he's maybe not as straight as he thought he was.

I loved everything about this book, from the beautiful wedding moments between Blaine and Eric and the bisexual awakening of Blaine's twin brother with Eric's brother Sean.

It's got sweetness, it's all about family, for good and bad (yes twins parents you're the bad) and it's got great emotional connection born out if friendship first, then a bit of old fashioned chemical attraction and finally into love.

Blaine, Marine/Parole Officer, and Eric, also a Cop, are having their wedding at a gorgeous, huge cabin.
* Blake, 31, works from home brokering property deals, is blonde and Blaine's twin, is his best man. Eric's older brother * Sean, 38, with dark hair, is a Psychiatrist, and finished raising Eric when their folks died, is Eric's best man.
So, Blake and Sean are in charge of getting things handled for the wedding. More Marines and friends are coming than expected, so, straight Blake and bi Sean will be sharing a room with one bed.

In that bed is where this story gets off the ground. Sean ends up cuddling and humping Blake in his sleep.
Then Blake is trying to figure out what it means, because he's never before considered being with a man,
but now....?

They awkwardly talk, flirt, and continue to get the wedding ready.
This is a cute story, with unique characters and a fresh plot. We get super hot sexy times with Sean and Blake's first time M/M action.

We learn all we need to know about Blake and Blaine's folks.

The couple's vows are dynamite. We have lots of deep thoughts, and our guys get advice talking with a friend and brother, too.

This is fun, happy, exciting and full of anticipation, with a little angst.
ENJOY !

3.5 stars. Sean and Blake are each best man for his brother. The whole “only one bed” thing for the getaway wedding was more of an awakening than the good times it could have been. The good times came, and the feels along the way were sweet.

Goofy Grin Enducing

First time, close proximity, and oh so sweet! This book includes characters from a previous book, including the two main characters. I am a big fan of series like this, because I never like saying goodbye to characters I become attached to. Which is a common occurrence in books by Romeo Alexander, despite all easily being read as a stand alone. It’s a no brainer, for me, when he releases a new book. I know I am going to make time for it. Same goes for his audiobooks!

I loved the fun, easy banter between all of the characters, even when it was grumpy banter, but the exchanges between Blake and Sean were my favorites. I could sit and listen to them talk all day long, and be content. They had great chemistry, even before things got...interesting. It wasn’t a surprise when something happens. How can it be, when the title gives it away? That doesn’t diminish the fact that it was enjoyable to read. It didn’t feel rushed, because these men have known each other for years. They were already familiar with each other...they’re just a lot more familiar with each other, now. (covers Eric’s eyes)

This was well written, funny, and quite delightful. I found myself grinning throughout the book. I absolutely loved Sean and Blake. I cannot wait to see what Mr. Alexander has in store next. Whatever it is, I’m reading it.

2.5 stars. This was okay. Sean and Blake were cute and great together, but almost nothing exciting really happened, so I got a bit bored halfway through the book. It was all very light and fluffy, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I just wanted more to happen. Eric’s immaturity annoyed me too.

Eric and Blaine's wedding (sequel to book 4)
Coming out
First time relationship with a man
Bi-awakening

I loved every second of this book, it was cute, happy and fun.
The most beautiful thing in this book is that it's two stories in one.

On one hand, it's about Eric and Blaine's wedding. Their book was wonderful and their love after 3 years is still as intense. I was so so happy that their wedding happens early in the book, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to give my full attention to their brothers. Eric and Blaine's vows were everything 🥺🥺🥺.

On the other hand, we have Blake, Blaine's twin brother and Sean, Eric's older brother. Blake and Sean start to get to know each other better. Blake is straight and nobody knows that Sean is bi, so they don't think it's a big deal when they have to share a bed.. That scene!

There's a LOT of sxual tension and banter 🔥
I loved that Blake's confusion doesn't last long and their story has no drama. They mostly love spending time together, their conversations are light and funny. From pretty much the beginning, their journey is driven by much more than attraction, rather by who the other person is.

Whatever is Best for both sets of Brothers if Man enough!

Sean has raised Eric, his younger brother who is gay who is in love and married his teenage best friend Blaine after the Marines discharge him for injuries suffered before he gets partnered with Eric at the Port Dale Police Department. Blake is Blaine's identical twin, but straight and a businessman a bit less well built, but adequate to keep happy until he helps Sean organize Eric and Sean's wedding celebration. When the bed count comes up one short, the two soon to be stepbrothers get to share a bed for a few days. It is hard to cuddle together without getting closer even if you try to keep it polite. After the wedding, the honeymooners head to ride waves in Hawaii while Sean and Blake continue their experiments in the shower, on beaches, and in bed. Soon it is impossible to keep hidden. Wonder what will be the plan for the next wedding?

Note: I put off writing the reviews since January. I'm slowly catching up. So my memory will vary according to how long ago I read it and how impactful it was.

Reading the synopsis I remembered most of it. I think I enjoyed it overall, nothing extraordinaire though.

I made very few notes and the most interesting is that I often confused the name Blake and Blaine while reading, and apparently even the author was wrong a couple of times LOL

Also it was funny enough and the characters weren't too shallow.

Overall a nice read.

Oh I didn’t see this book coming! I had read Eric and Blaine’s love story prior to this book. And I didn’t see both of their brothers finding happiness together. Especially since we knew them as straight. It starts at their brothers wedding, but doesn’t stay there. This is an angst free fun and sweet love story and a great follow up book! Amazing read

I admit it... I always cry at weddings! *headdesk* ;D

I loved the way these two friends became more without a single glitch, considering one was straight and the other was bi with no past guy relationships. I guess Blaine was right, when you know, you know!

Now, my question is... do we get another big gay wedding? *fingers crossed*

Eric and Blaine are getting married and both there brothers are best men who are good friends but when a mix up in the number of guest at the wedding venue leaves Blake and Sean sharing a bed it leads to awkward flirty conversations and even dirty things later.

Blake has never questioned his sexuality hes always dated women and has never thought about a man before but some late night cuddling has him second guessing things about himself and Sean.

Sean raised his brother Eric took care of him when he had his first broken heart over Blaine and just never got around to telling his brother he was Bi and now the only other person who knows is the first guy hes hit on in along time but he won't make the first move Blake will. Now there going to see were things go and hopefully Eric won't have a heartache when he finds out.

I loved the dynamic between these 4 they make the perfect family there humor and playfulness with each other is great and it was nice how Blake imbraced everything with him and Sean.

I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.

This is a romantic, entertaining and amusing story. Blake and Sean knew they were younger, with their brothers being friends and in love with each other, and now that Blaine and Eric are getting married, they have shared duties being the best man for their brothers. They get along well, talking and flirting whenever they're together, but that's all it is is flirting, because Blake is straight, and Sean just likes teasing him. Until the first night they have to share a bed because there aren't enough bedrooms for all of the wedding guests. It turns out that Sean's a cuddler, and when Blake wakes up in the morning, it's to find himself held tightly in Sean's arms. Weirdly, Blake isn't freaked out about, he finds it kind of nice. Which starts him wondering why he wasn't freaked out, and wondering if the flirting is just flirting after all. He watches Sean, contemplating his feelings, while Sean watches Blake because Blake is watching him. When things get steamy after the wedding, Blake has to decide exactly what he wants from Sean. The two are so chill with each other, even after they got busy, they each decide that maybe they should find out if Blake is not as straight as he believes he is. They're really cute together. I highly recommend reading the whole series.

Love Port Dale Men!

Blake and Sean have a great chemistry. They are both charming, funny, nice and successful in their careers. Where they differ is how Blake, like others of us, uses humor to deflect, deal with emotions and just ease through life. Sean has his humorous side but doesn't let it shine in front of people very often due to his profession and having to raise Eric while he himself was still young. When they start working closely together there are hints of so much more there. Mr. Alexander does not disappoint us with his story, writing snarky comments, humor, love, acceptance and happiness. This was a wonderful book and I loved the playful side of the MC's which at times made me LOL. I must say the vows said between Blaine and Eric made me cry they were so sweet. I could imagine that scene in all its beauty just as I could imagine Blake and Sean at the cliff. So sweet and perfect! Let's not forget to "keep things in hand"😉

Blake and Sean are the best men in their brothers’ wedding, and they are planning it together. They really seemed to get along right from the start. Even finding they have only one bed to share didn’t dismay them, and they didn’t over-react to anything, just took it all in stride.

This seemed like such an easy relationship that started with Sean and Blake. They both seemed so accepting and ready to go with wherever they ended up. The banter between them was excellent. Humor always draws me right into any book, and this was done so well. It was just so comfortable right from the start!

The story line was cute, easily drawing the reader in. The personalities of the two guys was also a plus to be enjoyed. Grab your copy and have fun with this one. I kept having visions of what their family tree would look like with those interlocking branches! Seriously, this was a fun book that I definitely recommend.

A wedding can either solidify a friendship, or drive you bonkers. Sean and Blake, brothers of Eric and Blain are best men for their brothers' wedding. The finally get to know each other beyond the superficial. They are totally supportive of their respective brothers and willing to do anything to ensure the wedding day is successful. A miscount of the attendee numbers, causes a shortfall in the bedrooms. Sean and Blake have to share. Eric is under the impression his brother, Sean has no sex life. Sean has not disclosed he is bi-sexual. Blake asks Sean questions that border on the intrusively personal rationalizing he's just getting to know the man. Their first night bunking together is absolutely hysterical! Absolutely delightful book. Reading about a couple getting to know each other has never been more fun. A story about discovery and opening oneself up is always a fun read. Does the wedding go off perfectly? Do Sean and Blake get better at bunking together? Great story, well done! So, this was kind of the typical Romeo Alexander experience for me, where the novel's premise sounds supremely hot and juicy and I can't wait to get my hands on it but then the story itself is flat and meh and falls short on delivery. For some dumb reason, I keep going back for more but always end up low key disappointment. This though was more than just low key. The book title and the synopsis were IMO pretty misleading. Yes, there were two best men and only one bed but that was only a small, practically blink-and-you-miss plot point. They shared the bed for two nights and something happened only the one night and it was a pretty negligible thing. I mean, it was hot for what it was and I couldn't wait to see where it went, but then it went...nowhere. Suddenly the wedding was over and they were headed home, where most of the action then took place. I guess most readers didn't mind, bc this has a rather surprisingly high rating on GR, but I was hotly anticipating all the craziness that was going to happen in that one bed and it was ultimately quite the letdown. Beyond that, the writing here...I think I just don't click with RA. The boys convos were so...off...not realistic...kinda dumb. No sharp banter...a lot of silly, rather boring teasing back and forth. It did nothing for me. Finally, the one groom...I think his name was Eric? I didn't read his and Blaine's story but Lord, I couldn't stand him. I get he was supposed to be a grumpy fuck but he was so OTT and unlikable and immature. Ugh. Moral of the story, I need to stay strong when I next read the premise of a new RA release and not click in. I'm so happy he's successful and people enjoy his books but I'm finding more and more that I am not one of them.

I really enjoyed this book. It is well written and easy to read. You don't have to have read all the previous books in order to enjoy this one. This is the story of Blake and Sean. Both are professionals in their own field and know each other peripherally. It isn't until they are planning/setting up the wedding of their brothers, Eric and Blaine, that they start spending a lot of time with each other. At the isolated venue they find that there is a mistake in planning. They are one bedroom short for the wedding. Both volunteer to crash together to ensure the wedding goes off without any additional stress. Problem is, one of them is a snuggle bunny and forgets to warn the other. Waking up with someone wrapped around them like a howler monkey tends to bring on a lot of situational awareness! Both Sean and Blake slowly open up to each other and become good friends. The problem with that, is when each of them wish it was more but are afraid to ruin what they currently have. This is the story of how their relationship develops and how they finally get their happy ever after.

This story will not disappoint. I really enjoyed the story.

I need a little ARC break, and I figured I might as well be productive about it (getting one step closer to crossing another author off my to-binge list). Here's "Two Best Men, Only One Bed." It's the sixth book in Romeo Alexander's Heroes of Port Dale series.

["Blake: Planning my twin brother’s wedding seemed like a feat on its own.

How will it all add up in the end for Blake and Sean?"]

Okay, I thooouuught there was something of a spark between these two in Eric and Blaine’s book, something fun and snarky and cute, but I assumed I was just looking for something that wasn’t there. Then I read this blurb, and I legit “awwww”ed out loud.

These two were ridiculously adorable. Their friendship was sweet and supportive (and snarky) as hell. I loved watching the interact, seeing those interactions became deeper, sweeter, and lustier. And, I gotta admit, I looooved the scene(s) where their brother's found out (and the few where they almost found out).

Also, really not sure why I'm SO put-out about it, but the cover has one of the models/MC wearing a nipple ring, and neither Blake nor Sean was mentioned having one. I knooooooow smitten/honry Sean would have mentioned it if Blake had one (Eric would have also had a smart-ass comment about it), and confused but aroused Blake would have found a way to be both jealous and intrigued by it if Sean had one. That's all.

Trigger Warnings: homophobia parents

Lots of Fun & Believable

This is a perfect sequel to "Unbreak My Heart" in which teenage boyfriends Eric the cop and Blaine the ex-Marine get reunited after eight years of horrifying distrust to find themselves working as partners on the Port Dale police force.

That was a brilliantly detailed and angst-filled book which involved a lot of interaction between Eric and his older brother Sean, who raised him after their parents died, and Blaine and his twin Blake, who comes and goes as he pleases.

In this one Sean and Blake, who have known each other as casual acquaintances for years, are the centerpieces because Eric and Blaine are getting married and they turn their wedding plans over to their brothers for a lot of reasons.

Except one of the complications is that they wind up sharing a bed in the lodge where the wedding is going to be held because they underestimated the number of rooms they would need by one. And that one turns out to be an interesting catalyst into one of the most unexpected but totally logical couplings you are likely to read in a while.

The issue is that psychologist Sean has never told his brother, or anyone else, that while he has had a couple of girlfriends in his 36 or so years he also was somewhat active as a college student and early 20s man with men, but never found anyone who interested him in any kind of relationship.

As for business deal broker Blake, he has always been an obvious skirt chaser and has never had any kind of physical contact with another man...well, except for--we'll let you find that out yourself.

The premise of Sean and Blake getting it on, to say nothing of eventually getting together, may seem far fetched but you have to give it to author Romeo Alexander who has become an absolute master of bringing together men of opposite attractions or difficult personalities into stable relationships.

He does this in every book with a simple trick: He lets the main characters speak and think for themselves, right there on the page, developing into individuals who are both believable as well as perfectly logical matches for each other.

Simply a delightful book with a wonderful cover. Wish they would revise the one on the first book, but this one leaves nothing to the imagination.

This is my second attempt at a review, the first one on Amazon disappeared just as I was going to hit submit! 😕

Hopefully this attempt will be as good as the first.

It took me three days to read this book, anyone who knows me; knows this is an excessive amount of time for me to get thru a book.

I gave this book four stars as there is a lot that is good and not everyone may share my view.

I like this trope and have read quite a few novels. The premise to the book and the plot sounded amazingly good. I liked all the characters (well Eric had to grow on me a bit). The beginning started off great, sucking me in right away to the story. The ending and epilogue was well thought out and did not seem rushed to tie up all the loose ends. It was a sweet and romantic HEA.

However, it was the middle of the book that threw me, maybe it needed more angst or drama and a little less of Eric whining but it just seemed to take forever to get through. I had to stop a few times, going back later to read more and considered not finishing ( thoigh I am glad I did as the ending was really good) When the book started there did not seem to be any chemistry between Sean and Blake, that did change as you get further in the book. The other thing is the steam level was ♨️ one on a scale of four ♨️♨️♨️♨️.

It's definitely not a bad story by any means it just was missing something for me.

I sensed a story and I was right

I prefer not to look ahead when I'm into a series just in case I'm wrong. So when I sensed something off about Blake and Sean and then this was the next book i saw, I knew immediately that I was right. Blake and Sean are perfect together. They truly are.

Sometimes love isn't about gender. It's about the person. Anyone who tells you that there's just gay and straight and bi, don't understand it and have never experienced it. Sometimes you love the person and not the gender. And that's the feeling I get with Blake. He's never insinuated that he found another man attractive m, but he's said that he found his attraction to Sean as weird, but not weird. In other words. It was weird because it was a guy, but at the same time it was Sean and that wasn't weird at all.

I've seenany authors try this. And very few seem to actually understand that emotion. I've usually found that those are straight trying to write gay. They usually don't do bad, but don't get the emotion correct sometimes.

Romeo never disappoints. You may think he has things wrong based in certain things. But one thing never wrong, is that you can fall for someone based on an emotional connection. Sometimes it just evolves. Sometimes it doesn't. Doesn't always make you technically gay or bi... He gets it. As expected

Easily the only romance book without drama

To sum up the book:
The characters are fantastic. The storyline was super sweet. Nothing for the main characters to overcome, making it a super easy read.

Surprising the author revisited Blaine and Erik so soon with only a single book between them. Technically the story was about their brothers, but was it?

The storyline at the beginning was sweet as the brothers are getting the wedding finalized and getting their blushing grooms to the alter. The second half of the storyline feels completely unbelievable. I am not saying it doesn't happen, but it feels like one of those stories of a cousin of a work colleague your best friend heard about once at the office Christmas party. To our knowledge, Erik's brother was not bi in the last book, and we were told a couple of times that Blaine's brother was the straight twin in the last book. It just seems weird that in this book, the Bisexuality exploded onto people.

As sweet as this story was, especially considering there was zero conflict for the hero's to overcome, it feels completely unbelievable. It feels like the author is simply writing out her fantasy about these two men.

Have fun!!

Cw: sexual assault

It was okay at the start, not great, but okay. However, the lack of consent in one scene ruined it for me completely. People may hold the opinion that I am overreacting but it is NOT okay to grab on to someone’s head, shove your d*ck up the person’s mouth and c*m in it while they are pulling off of you. It counts as sexual assault. Consent was not asked for or given in this scene between Blake and Sean. Rough s*x is fine (great if that’s your thing), and has been written well in many books, but the difference is consent.

MCs are usually moral compasses, so Blake’s actions and the failure to acknowledge that anything was wrong with them makes this book send out a harmful message and the scene can also be triggering for survivors. It was likely not meant to be sexual assault and Blake’s behaviour is sadly so normalized in real life that one may not realize it despite it having caused a lot of damage for many people. But nonetheless, this book disappointed me a lot. It could’ve been a book about the romance between two likeable characters with good ethics who have hot s*x (assault excluded). But unfortunately, it was not.

Meeting Sean in his younger brother Eric's and Blaine story (Unbreak My Heart) I was thinking he was the silent. bossy type. Well in this one he threw me off. I was so surprised and delighted that he was oh so different...flirty, humorous and adventurous...oh yeah and loves to cuddle...LOL. Him and Blake made this story so entertaining. I loved Blake...he was so funny and straightfoward. And when Sean started the flirting and Blake started to question his own sexuality, I was thinking this is going to be so good when they actual get together. It's nice that they were friends first...their easy banter/relationship showed a lot throughout the story and it was a realistic transition (to me) for them to become more than friends. That scene towards the end when Eric had a meltdown, was hilarious but a nice turning point that things were going to work out well. The guys had a nice HEA and I truly enjoyed reading this.
