Tyres
I’ve been through shit in my life, both literally and figuratively, but as the VP of the Inferno’s Clutch MC I signed up for it. The one person who didn’t sign up for it is my darling little girl, Wren.
It’s just her, me, and the club.
For a kid her age she’s been through it too, especially considering she was kidnapped not too long ago. Finding out about her made me change a lot. I’m no longer the reckless SOB who’d pull out his gun without even thinking. Now I’m calculating, knowing at the end of the day I have to get back home to her.
But hell, being a single dad isn’t easy. I get as much help from the club as I can, but sometimes it’s just too much. Tiny recommends I get some help, ‘cause Wren can’t keep sleeping in my bed at the club so I tell her I’ll think about it. Never did I anticipate the woman would take it upon herself to hire a nanny for me, and she’s a vision.
I know I’m asking for trouble . . . but I don’t give a flying fuck.

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK, or decent reads.
=========================
It earned 3 stars for the violent death of the crazy clubwhore or villain (I just love it when these bitches get a gruesome end). In fact, all the books in the series follow an exact formula.

Tyres and Riss have a history and it’s not all good and painless. Their story is full of drama, secrecy, pain and danger. Will these two find their way back together again? Will secrets continue to tear them apart?

I don't know why I do this to myself. I know this author has several other series available, but I only read about the Inferno's Clutch. However, I have told myself over and over that I am just going to move on. If an author can't come up with something original, I shouldn't be bothered to read and review. Yet, I still borrowed this on Kindle Unlimited and read it one sitting. I look at all these positive reviews, and my gut wonders if we even read the same book.

I feel horrible. I was going to make a list of things that I like and things that I despised. However, the list of likes was one line. It wasn't even a strong like. *Sigh* I will have to say though, after the first quarter, things did start to be promising. By the end, I wasn't so angry.

-If you've been following along with the Inferno's Clutch MC, you already know this plot. It's the same plot as Axle and Pitch Black's books. I am sorry, but within the first 5 chapters, I knew the whole plot. It wasn't because of foreshadowing or amazing storytelling. It was because it had already been done twice before with a few different details.

-The intertwining of MCs has to stop. At least this book wasn't as bad, and I could follow along. However, there are several MCs and situations that are referenced that didn't happen in this series. Fuse's book was terrible for this, and I made of a mention of that in my review. However, I can't say this enough. It kills any desire not only to continue on with this series, but it also doesn't make me want to even attempt to start another. Not interested.

-Nothing special about these characters and their development. It's because they have no distinctive characteristics. They could literally be interchanged for each other, and it wouldn't make a difference. For example: Rissa is a mix of Angelina and Tiny. Her back story reads just like Faith's. Plug and play.

I'm glad to see Tyres finally get his HEA. He's a grumpy bugger with a temper, but since finding out he had a daughter he's been working on that. Never wanting to give love another chance after his first love, the one he knew even at 15 he wanted forever broke him a little. Since then he's not let anyone get too close.

Rissa runaway at 18 to protect the man she loved. She hurt him in the worst way she could to make sure he didn't look for her. She would not be the reason he got hurt. Now 10 years later, a little more scarred and bruised she finally feels safe enough to come home. Little does she know those in her and Tyres lives are working to put her directly into Tyres path and hopefully fix the mistake made 10 years ago.

The past isn't easy to put behind them and with a more recent evil still, on Rissa's tail, they have to fight for their HEA. It's a great story and you're left happy with the ending and for Tyres and Rissa.

This series of books are a great quick read. Most I can get through in a couple of hours so when you're short on time and want a good story with alpha men who'll do anything for the woman they love then these books are for you. You get a great story, with some drama and a nice HEA to finish it off. Bonus you get to see the characters pop up in other stories.

I do recommend reading them in order, as the characters overlap over the different series and MC clubs. You'll be lost with who some people are without the background.

Happy Reading
Enjoy your next escape :)

Tyres/Ike and Rissa's story started when they met in high school. But, everything changed when Rissa disappeared right after she turned 18. She had truly evil parents who allowed her to be beaten and buried alive. Rissa literally climbed out of the grave and ran. She thought she was protecting Tyres and their son by staying on the run. It wasn't until she learned it was safe that she returned home. To say it wasn't a warm welcome is an understatement. Tyres was beyond angry to see Rissa again and that was understandable. Not only has she resurfaced after 10 years but she came back with a son that knew all about him yet Tyres had no idea. It wasn't until Rissa let her emotions take over and she let all the details of what happened come to light that Tyres embraced her being back. He was quick to forgive her which I loved. He still struggled with her leaving him and everything that happened but he also realized he had his second chance. One of my favorite parts was Tyres and little Ike's conversation at the grocery store! I love all the characters that E.C. Land has created and that each book continues to show all the couples and their families. Cannot wait for Brielle's second book and to find out what's going on with Brake.

Tyres' is the VP of the Inferno's Clutch MC and this is his story...we finally find out why he is angry and has vowed to never let another woman into his heart. After finding out he has a daughter he has tried taking care of her on his own with the help of the ol' ladies of the club. Now that Tiny is going to work they hire a nanny to help out with Wren, Tyres' baby girl. Tyres' not knowing that the new nanny is not other than his first and only love Rissa, the girl who just up and disappeared without a trace and with his heart. He absolutely rufuses to let her be Wrens nanny and doesn't want anything to do with her at first...Rissa is a single mother herself who we learn disappeared and stayed away all these years from Tyres life to protect him from her parents. When they get a look at her son they all know that when she left she took more than Tyres heart. We learn why Rissa disappeared and if Tyres can forgive her and let her back into his life and heart. These stories are all interconnected and should be read in order to have the full story. Lots of drama and action as usual.

Not for me anymore

I have been reading this authors work for a long time, and unfortunately (at least for me) the stories are continually getting worse. It's not that they're bad stories overall, but they're definitely nothing like the first few books that were released. The stories are getting shorter, there's numerous editing errors (which is ridiculous considering the length of the stories, especially when there were next to none in the beginning), there's absolutely no depth to the stories now as they read more like a highlight reel. For example, the editing errors are not just the occasional misspelled word (of which there are many), there are sentences that make absolutely no sense, mostly because of missing words, but not always. Unfortunately, the editing problems have continued to get worse with each new release. If I hadn't liked the characters so much, I definitely would've stopped reading any book written by this author, as well as those of the co-written authors, a long time ago. I was truly hoping that it was going to get better, but instead it's only gotten worse. I guess that's what happens when the authors try to write 10+ series (not to mention the anthologies) at the same time. Yeah, the authors are delivering quantity, but the quality is no where near what it was when the author was new, which is truly sad for such talented authors.
I really liked the authors idea to have two stories about each couple. It would've been great if the first one would've been a full novel, with the second being a novella. Unfortunately, all of the books that have been released in the last year or more are only novellas, no matter if they're for a new series or an established one, and seem to be getting shorter with each release. Honestly, I wouldn't care about the length if the stories actually had more details and depth, but those areas continue to decrease with each new book as well.
I will admit that I am going to miss reading about the characters that I have really enjoyed (especially Ella, Raven, Victoria, and Harlow's stories), but I'm not going to continue reading highlights of what the story could have been. I know that all authors are trying to make a living, and I respect that, as well as all of the hard work that goes into publishing every book. However, I think it's sad when authors sacrifice their talents, as well as the quality of their work, in order to release more books more often.
It's just not worth it to the authors or the readers, at least not to me.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Tyres' Wraith by E.C. Land is book 9 in the Inferno's Clutch series. We finally get the backstory to why Tyres has such a chip on his shoulder. Tyres' needs help with his daughter Wren. Tiny and Chains hire a woman, Rissa to help him out. Rissa and Tyres have a history that goes back to high school. She was the love of his life until one day she was gone. Now will he allow her back into his life and to take care of his daughter Wren? She also shows up with a boy who looks just like Tyres. Could he be... And why did she leave without a word?

First of all I am a fan of E.C. Land. I will warn any new readers if you start with this book you will be confused. While the story of Tyres and Rissa plays out there is so much backstory also going on. The history plays out throughout several of Land's MC series. So not only do you need to be reading Inferno's Clutch but also Devil's Riot. Both books have several chapters and the members often go to assist at these other chapters. There is at least one major story running between all of these series. I do like the story line however I am beginning to feel like this ongoing plot is not advancing.

The characters all have a similar plots with a strong alpha man wanting a woman who comes with a troubled past. He and his MC brothers come to her aid. What I do enjoy is the differences between the MC brothers. While I admit they are very similar, it is their little nuances that differentiate them.

There are trigger warnings on this book and series. While the abuse is talked about, it is something that occurred more in the past. The guys in this books, especially Tyres, have no problem dishing out violence when needed. I don't feel like this violence is the center of the story but just a part of their life. All of this being said I still like this series but do recommend new readers to start at the beginning.

I have to say that these stories are showing that these Alpha males have tender sides, as well as being extremely protective of their women and families. Ms. Land is showing that they are human and loyal to each other and the whole club.
Tyres and Rissa has had a loving past, until Rissa just up and leaves, and then breaks up with him. He is hurt, angry and worried about and for her.
Rissa, left her heart behind with Tyres, when she left to protect him from her messed up family, she also took a piece of him with her.
When the threat is over, she just wants to go home and try to see if Tyres is still hers.
He is tricked by his club to hire her as a nanny for his daughter, when he finds out its her and that she kept his son from him, his anger is out of control.
They work it out slowly, and he learns of everything she has been through since she left. Their love has endured for over ten years and is even stronger now.

Reunions can be hard but bear so much fruit....

Tyres' Wraith is the ninth book in the Inferno's Clutch MC series. Tyres is the VP of the club and has recently become a single father to Wren. Having her come into his life has made him make some changes, for the better if truth be told. But there is still an issue of childcare for Wren, as she cannot always be looked after properly at the club or by himself if he has business to deal with. It is fellow MC member Tiny who ends up getting him the help he needs in the form of one nanny named Rissa. What Tine did not know is that Tyres and Rissa have an emotional history together which makes things so much more complicated, especially when he finds out the one very big secret she has kept from him for the last ten years. It seems that Tyres is about to become a daddy again!

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

I love second chance love stories and this is a new favorite! I love the characters and Wren stole my heart. This second chance read that took me through the emotions. Tyre’s/Ike and Rissa were high school sweethearts until she broke his heart. She had her reasons. But she also hurt a few others in the process. Does time heal all wounds? Rissa has a lot to tell Tyre. Is she strong enough to tell him the whole truth? What will happen when she does? This story is packed with action, suspense, drama, secrets, hurt, anger, regret, and love just to name a few of the intense emotions you will discover as you read. Can they find their way back to each other again? I love how E.C. brings characters you know back and how they are all interconnected. It adds another level to her stories and you see how their family is solid and how they really are there for their brothers and their chosen ones. Famu is more than blood. A must have book!

For Tyres his little daughter Wren was his world, she'd been through so much in a short time, and he loves every moment with her but being a single dad and VP has its limits, so Tiny takes it upon herself to get a nanny, though no one expected it to be Rissa least of all Tyres. Rissa broke Tyres heart when she left him all those years ago, but for good reason, too keep him safe, now she's back to look after his daughter but she's not alone. With Rissa past coming back, threatening not just her life, Tyres has to look past the pain she caused to keep her and his family safe.
Well written a great addition to to series, EC Land just knocks them out the park! You have to keep coming back for more! Filled with drama, desires, second chances, surprises, and more!

This second chance read that took me through the emotions. Tyre’s/Ike and Rissa were high school sweethearts until Rissa broke his heart. She did have her reasons. Not only did she break Tyre’s heart, she hurt a few others in the process. Let me tell you, it’s been a long time since they last saw each other, and let me tell you, their reunion was not a happy one. Rissa has a lot to tell Tyre’s and tell him the whole truth. What will happen when she does? This has action, suspense, drama, angst, secrets, hurt, anger, regret, and love that never went away. No matter how long they have been apart, their feelings and connection they had when they were younger never went away. They have a lot to work out. While reading, you will see and hear of some familiar faces. I love how W.C. brings characters you know back and how they are interconnected. It is so great.

I love this series by EC Land and I loved reading Tyres and Rissa’s story. After disappearing from Tyres’ life many years ago because of her evil parents and in order to protect Tyres, Rissa returns to town and is talked into being a nanny for Tyres’ daughter, only she is not aware that Wren is Tyres’ daughter. During her absence Rissa kept a very big secret from Tyres and when Tyres discovers that Rissa had his child he is very angry that she kept his child from him. Another great book by EC Land that will definitely keep you on your toes and has lots of suspense and drama and steamy moments between Rissa and Tyres. They had to endure some bad moments and history but together they make a wonderful couple and family. A great MC series.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. The ninth book in the Infernos Clutch MC is about Tyres and Rissa. These two have a connection from when they were younger. She disappeared on him, but not because she wanted to. He is raising his young daughter but she needs more. Imagine his surprise when Rissa is hired to take care of her. She thinks it is safe to come back and bring their son. He still holds on to the feelings of anger and loss until he realizes what she has been thru. His family is the most important thing and he will protect them. Their story has similarities to others and is part of the ongoing series. It was nice to get their complete story but I just wanted more at this point in the series.

Tyres and Rissa were childhood sweetheart’s. Rissa’s parent’s were against the relationship and forbid the relationship. Rissa’s parent took her to their church to be punished. She was left for dead and dug herself out of her grave. After fleeing town she moved around for ten years.. After 10 years she finally returned to her hometown to become a nanny. Only she didn’t know for who. But she has another secret, one she knows will come to light. Can Tyres and Rissa’s overcome this or is she destined to run again. Will Tyres be able to protect her from what she is running from? Can they finally be together, or has to much damage already been done.

Tyres met Rissa when he was 16 years old and she was 15, they were together until her 18th birthday when she disappeared and then through a call, broke up with him. 10 years go by and he has been cajoled into taking a nanny for his 2 year old daughter. He has no idea who it is, and she has no idea whose child Wren is until she turns up. To say that there is conflict, is an understatement until she tells him the truth of what happened all those years ago, but now there is another threat and Tyres has more than Rissa to protect.

These stories just get better and better, I have no idea how EC does it, but I am sure glad she does.

Just when you think a book will be another second chance romance with the usual angst about getting hurt again and mistrust, E.C. Land comes along with Tyre's Wraith. Rissa and Tyres (Ike) were childhood sweethearts, but she ran away to protect Tyres from her family. Years later when she thinks it's safe to come home, she brings with her Tyres' son. Their initial reactions when they first meet was as expected, but then it wasn't. I loved the way the author got them back together. The drama was real, but not forced or manufactured. When the suspense comes when Rissa's past catches up to her, I loved that the author didn't have Rissa make any TSTL decisions and Tyres rose up to the occasion. Tyres was the complete package and a total surprise.

Once again we are drawn into the world of the Inferno's Clutch MC and as I have always said this series needs to be read in order to get the full impact if you start with this book I believe you will be totally confused and won't get the full value of this series

For a while we have known that Tyre has a king sized chip on his shoulder and now we finally fine out why he needs help with his daughter and Rissa is hired to be that help the only thing these two have history at school she was the love of his life but she disappeared on him now she is back to care for his daughter but she also has a son that looks a lot like Tyre. Can he forgive her maybe once he hears of the hell she has gone through and maybe she now has the protector that she and her son need

Rissa finally returns home after the death of her parents. With lots of explanations and amends to make, her first one must be to the love of her life. Finally Tyres will find out why she left him all those years ago without any explanation. How will he respond when he finally learns her reasons and the horrors Rissa endured are revealed? Will he finally be able to put away his hurt and anger and forgive her? An emotional drama as secrets are revealed, leaving only the love they knew in their younger days. Tyres and Rissa's story is a page turner, and everything we have come expect from E.C. Land. **I was gifted "Tyres' Wraith" via Booksprout, leaving my review based on my reading.** 4.5 Stars!

It is no secret that I love this series this story and this author! This is Tyres and Rissa story and what a story they have to be told! Just when you think things are going to go and be good the elephant in the room is blaring at them and needs addressing! These stories flow so well and they are all fast paced with a HEA story to be told for each of them but it also has a story that arcs through all the books and wow! are you ready for a ride. Pull up a chair and get comfortable with the Infernos Clutch MC and see what you have been missing!

True love never dies.

Tyres and Rissa story is in if young love. Rissa leaving to protect the one she loved, Tyres recently learn he had a daughter. Chain sets things in motion for Rissa to finally come home. When Tyres sees her he is pissed, but once hearing her story he knew he stilled loved her, she never stopped loving him. When an old enemy of Rissa returns to hurt her again Tyres and his brothers take care if them.
Like always the author leaves wanting for more this time part 2 of Rissa and Tyres story but hell cant wait for Brielle story.

Loved it!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

I LOVE this MC world and its extended universe. Every time a new one releases, it’s like catching up with old friends. These books are not for the faint of heart and contain some dark topics but they are soooooo good. Tyres and Rissa were meant to be and I’m so happy they finally made their way back to each other. As with all the other books in this universe…there are dark themes, tons of intrigue and mystery but always an amazing couple who get a HEA (at least what constitutes a HEA in this world). LOVED IT!!!!

Rissa ran for her life and left the only man she would love behind to keep him safe. After ten years she feels it is safe to return although danger ands up following her.

I like the story and always enjoy seeing past character in this series. They are an important part of every story. This story varies a little from the previous one on that Rissa doesn’t end up needing to be rescued. I would have liked to have known which DRMC lady was rescued when Rissa’s parents were killed as well as how beating her near death was doing what she was born to do.

Great

Rissa and Ike had young love until Rissa broke his heart. Now 10 years later Ike aka Tyre is a single father to his daughter Wren and vice president to the inferno clutch mc. Rissa is has a degree in child education and back in her home town. They cross paths again when he unknowingly hires her as his Nannie. How will Tyre's react to her being back? How will react to her secrets and why she left? Will there be a second chance at love?  What will happen when dangers has her in his sights? Will there be a HEA?

Oh my goodness is Tyres ever in for one heckuva surprise! Chains and Tiny has found him a live in nanny to take care of Wren and Tyres is not a happy camper when he finds out who it is. Rissa left Louisiana a long time ago and in the process broke Tyres heart. Now she's  back and I'll give you one guess who Chains and Tiny hired. EC Land has given us another exciting, steamy, chaos filled read and rest assured you won't be able to put it down. It's definitely a one sitting read.
