Well, I’m claiming it. I’ve marked myself. My life belongs to me. I will live, love, and die on my own terms.

Okay, that is so not the sound of my eyes watering, nose sniffling, heart aching, and head throbbing.

This book, oh this book. And that ending, wow, it was so happy, and yet it felt so beautiful and I didn’t want to believe I reached the end. That’s why I hesitated upon touching this book for awhile.

Tessa, is a broken and badass main character. I loved her through all the books, and I was glad to be with her on the journey she went through. I was so proud that she became her own woman in the end.

The main plot revolves around Tessa fighting her inner nature, while saving Tristan from his own darkness. She purges it from him, and uses that to finish her father and end the war of darkness that surrounds her.

I felt a lot of love and happiness as the story started to come to and end, as all the characters we get to know and come to love say goodbye. I will really miss Tessa and Tristan.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite book series.

Such an incredibly well written series. It does not rely on heat to engage the reader. It is full on deep at times dark storyline. Dark in a sense of the emotional and physical pain a large majority of the characters go through. Some may consider parts as triggering. This book will leave you feeling raw in a sense. If you allow yourself to be pulled into Frost's world, you will feel the characters pain. She articulates the story so well you have a complete understanding of each character. Tessa and Tristian are the MCs however the series is incredibly detailed....it is hard to not see each and every person as equal importance.

Deep complicated read. Possible triggers. Not a lot of heat. Exceptional storyline.

Thank you Frost for a great trilogy!

Happy reading,
DD 💕

Tesssssaaaaaaa is such a boss babe, omg! She completely OWNED this story and herself, finishing her journey in the most epic way! I had goosebumps during the last scene and I am thoroughly satisfied with that ending!

The writing was addictive, the plot well paced and planned, and the characters were just so beautifully complex.

The only thing I would’ve loved even more was an epilogue of Tristan and Tessa actually just enjoying each other after everything they went through. Fingers crossed for a bonus scene?!

Everly’s writing never ceases to amaze me with how well she engages her readers from the very start to the finish and I’m so glad I discovered her as an author as her books just hit different; make me feel all the things. Please check out her books!

Unputdownable angsty action that will grip your heart and not let go until the very end! This series has been dark and uncertain with these tremendous plot points and unforgiving twists. This is hold your breathe and hope for the best because you can't predict what lies in the next chapter entertainment.

I've been heartbroken and lost along this journey that Tessa has taken and discovering her true self alongside Tessa has kept me captivated. She kept fighting herself and her inner darkness until she had to just embrace all the parts of herself. She is strong and fierce and not afraid to take hits for those she loves. She is worthy and she is loved and that is her greatest lesson to learn.

The love story between Tessa and Tristan is legendary! It's beyond epic. It's beyond all the emotion you'll feel while reading. These two will bury themselves into your soul. Their love story is one of the best that you'll ever discover. They work together because they mend each other's broken parts and love with a passion that scorches these pages. They are beautiful to behold. They rescue each other in the most powerful of ways.

If you're looking for a new book boyfriend, Tristan is your man! He's got these rough and rugged edges and a tortured soul that needs to be claimed and calmed. He's the alpha that you dream about and the protector that every girl needs. He's everything you could possibly crave.

Everly Frost is a phenomenal storyteller. She completely carries you away and you never are quite the same person you were before you start one of her adventures. She's on a level that only she masters. One click everything by her. You need to be swept away by her gloriousness and stay awhile among her worlds.

Holy flippin' fruit muffins!! What an incredible journey and read this book and series took me on!

I don't think there are enough words that can truly express how much I seriously loved every moment of this series and book. Just

Everly has truly outdone herself with these books. I think this would definitely have to be one of my favourites by her, which is really saying something, considering I love all her books so much!

I want to say so much about this book but everything would kind of be spoilerish so that's a big no-no. All you need to know is that you will really love this book with a crazy passion. This one, in particular, had some seriously touching moments. You see Tessa in This Broken Wolf, slowly finding a way to a place where she opens herself to love...but then, obviously, a lot got torn down at the ending of that book. Yeah, ain't that an understatement. Everything went up in flames with that one.

The best way I can explain this book is that it is a healing journey. Building things back up. It's so wholesome and perfect. It makes you feel good because amongst all the bad...you get to see Tessa slowly begin to embrace who she is and her imperfections and to love herself for those. And if that's not enough for you...you see the absolute beauty in true friendships and see them showing her that it's okay to let others in and help, that nothing she can do could scare them off. They are the epitome of what a true pack should be. Truly this book touched my heart in so many ways. If you're like me this ↓ will be you.

"To act out of love is never a weakness. It’s never a failure.”...
“You have so much love to give, Tessa. You’ve proven that to everyone around you. That’s why there’s nothing you can do now that will frighten any of us away. And that’s how I know you will never walk the same path as your father. You deserve love, Tessa.”

But seriously dude, just why are you so good are controlling and making me feel all these crazy emotions? You never disappoint in the stories you share with us. You don't just write a story, you create a whole world that sucks us into it and demands us to feel all these things we don't want to. You create characters that own our hearts completely...you make them so vividly its as if they were our own friends, like they are right there beside us. You take us on the journey and we are there for every step of it, never wanting it to end. You can see that all of you goes into this, heart and soul. I'd ask if you could stop messing with my head so pro-like...but when you are this good at doing so, and to end your stories so absolutely perfectly, I'd be absolutely insane to do so. So you just keep at it girl, because you are truly incredible at what you do. And I'm here for it.

I'm sure you all remember where the last book finished at with Tessa destroying that coven and pushing everyone away but Tristan? Pretty hard stuff to forget all that. Tessa finally has her freedom of a sorts but at the cost of a lot. She's torn apart from this power inside her, the rage inside her is something fierce. But we know our girl. If there's one thing she is good at it's learning to control powerful magic. She is set on her path with Tristan by her side to destroy those that threaten her loved ones. Because one thing hasn't changed she will protect those she cares for without a blink. The times are shifting and a war is brewing. It's basically inevitable. Tessa and Tristan are being hunted and the other shifter packs are determined to take them down. Guess they didn't get the memo to not mess with Tessa.

That probably coz they daft or stupid, obvi 🤷🏻‍♀️😆

Time is running out for them all though. With Tristan getting lost within his Cerberus minds and the limited options to fix things...Tessa is banking her hope for an answer to save him, the problem is that, that option is one that is a secret and one that has been guarded for millennia. But that never stopped anyone, especially not Tessa. She is more determined than ever to release Tristan from his own cage and set him free. Even if that means putting herself in harm's way. After all, that's Tessa way, isn't it?

“I don’t care how many enemies I have to burn or tear apart,” I say. “I won’t stop until I free you from this cage.”

It's time to break all the cages holding Tessa and her pack back and let their true selves be who they were always meant to be. No cage will stop them from protecting those they love...and when that darkness gets too much, her pack will be right there to catch her.

Okay, that's literally all I'm saying. Because this is getting increasingly more difficult. But just know you are in for the read/ride of your life. You will not be disappointed. I really loved every torturous, fast-paced, unpredictable moment of this read...but the thing I loved the most, was for sure the friendship, support and healing this book took me through. It was one of those books that just melts your heart into a gooey little puddle. Has a good message behind it for sure. And if the dedication doesn't say it all...it's the perfect way to sum this book up.

"Anyone can be pack"

And that's the truth.

So yes imagine me just like Bugs Bunny with all his hear emoji's, coz when it comes to these books... I'm utterly hooked and obsessed with it.

Thank you to the lovely Everly for these books that now own my heart! This is a collection I need to add to my bookshelves. I need these beauties for sure! Thanks, girl for always providing me with the stories I never knew I needed. You are amazing and so talented to move me like you always do. 💖

This was such a great book! This is the final book in the series and was beyond fabulous. I was so not sure what to expect for this book and it was everything more than I could have imagined! This book had so many twists and turns throughout this book. There was no way to predict what was going to happen next. I love how Tristian and Tessa work together throughout this book even though they are enemies. OMG I cannot believe Tessa takes on everything to save Tristian. That is some true love right there. I am sad to see this series end but love the way it ended! Such a great read!

It's always bittersweet the end of a series, the plus side no cliffie, the minus side you're no longer a part of this world. The good thing here is that Everly announced Iyana has her own story coming so who knows with the way Everly links her world's who we can expect to cameo in it.

This book had so much packed into it, it basically exploded off the page, picking up right where the last book left us. There was so much content and story here you're couldn't help but get sucked in. I specifically enjoyed the cameo part as it's one of my fave characters, I may have squealed with delight.

Tessa is such a great character she has grown so much from book one in her strengths and admitting her weaknesses and letting herself be vulnerable. There's nothing harder sometimes than asking for help.

Tristan is an amazing alpha male but I fell for another in this series, got to love these male hottie side characters. But his relationship with Tessa was really special.

A few things surprised me about the way the story wrapped up there were still twists and turns to be had and plenty of action. It was nice to see all the side characters again as I missed them in the last book. I love stories where you get a real sense of people choosing their family and what makes them whole and their pack.

I don't think I could have asked for more in this conclusion Everly is a fantastic story teller and I can't wait to see what she writes next.

The much anticipated ending is FINALLY HERE!! This has been a dark series so far and the final book is no exception. Frost is truly brilliant though by tying together all of her stories in one world, and some of my favorites make appearances in this final Soul Bitten Shifter series. These characters have grown so much, yet so much was uncertain as the story developed that it’s a joy to read how it unfolds.

As an adopted daughter, there was a scene that really punched me in the feels since Tessa starts calling Fenrir her father, and Helen asks her if she wants to continue to allow him to have such power over her by calling him her father. It was just so empowering to have her realize that her adoptive father who raised her is her true father and deserves the title.

In short, this is one of my favorite series endings, though I can’t wait to see what Frost will come up with next!

Creative ending but missing depth in the relationships

I think this series was very entertaining and fun to read. The plot resolved itself nicely and it is a fascinating world. I loved the potential of it and the characters within it. I think the part I struggled with the most were the relationships. They felt rushed and shallow. The number of interactions between the characters were actually minimal. The moments that would have made the connections feel authentic were skipped or glossed over. I'm not sure I believed that Tristan and Tessa were in love and that all these women were willing to follow and die for Tessa. I think it was missing too many quiet and intimate moments between all of those characters that would have established such a deep level or trust and love. Everything was always happening in crisis and a million miles an hour. That makes for great action but not great romance or friendship. All around fun read though.

This Caged Wolf is the thrilling conclusion to Tessa's amazing story! I read this from start to finish in one day because as soon as I started, I was hooked. I loved every second of her journey, both the moments that plunged her into darkness as well as the path that brought her back to the light. The series has led up to this moment, the time of reckoning when threats are pressing in on Tessa from all sides. Not only does she have to face the inevitable fight with her father, Fenrir, but she also has to deal with the rising threat of war with the shifters. Both seem unavoidable as lines are drawn.

description

As Tessa prepares herself for the fight with her father, she also fights to save Tristan's humanity, his soul, and his life from the three-headed wolf. Her incredible power has already come with sacrifice and we see her desperate struggle to avoid seeing the death of any more of her loved ones. Most of all, it was amazing to see how far Tessa had come from the girl she used to be and the author does a beautiful job of touching on some of her first appearances in the first book. More than the others, this book sees her struggle with the darkness within her, the lives she's cost and claimed but it's the compassion that she shows and the humanity that she fights for that is inspiring.

The old friends that fight at her side, helping her to keep the darkness at bay and showing her the light are one of the best parts of this book. Helen, Danika, and Iyana are some of my favorite characters in the series and I was so happy to see them rally with Tessa and truly become a pack. And, of course, new friends and allies are made as the journey continues. Two of the newest characters that do deserve a mention are Alexei and Lyra. Alexei and the elusive assassins appear, their position of ally or enemy somewhat murky but I enjoyed having a little more light shed on the shadowing clan of lethal killers. Tessa also makes a new bond with Lyra, a ruby thunderbird and a creature I would desperately like to meet.

This book had so many surprises with some old characters making unexpected reappearances and plot twists that left me racing to get to the next page. Each book in the series has been amazing but this was by far my favorite. The inner struggles that Tessa faces just highlight how beautifully raw her character is. She's this incredibly powerful person who's no stranger to pain and hardship. She's been caged before. She's been emotionally and physically scarred. And in this book, we see her struggle against succumbing to anger and darkness. And yet, we see her trust in love, not just the love of Tristan but also the fact that accepting love is half the battle. And have I mentioned Tristan? Her relationship with Tristan is pretty far from perfection, what with Cerberus and all but it's incredible to watch them fight side by side, to see her maintain her independence and to also observe how Tristan respects her for that, because he knows that she can't and won't by caged by anyone or anything.

Tessa will always be one of my favorite fictional characters and Everly Frost did a superb job of concluding Tessa's story but who knows, maybe a novella, preferably in Tristan's POV, will show up one day. Until then, I'll be busy re-reading the series.

A great end to the series. (Almost) Everything was answered and even though we didn’t get a glimpse into the future I did download the next book and skipped to that epilogue that was actually Tessa and Tristan’s future 4 years later. I was annoyed this wasn’t in this book but once I read it I can see why it wasn’t in this book. I kind of ant to read Iyanas story but not enough to read it before the epilogue In that book.

So in this one Tessa finally learns to accept help when it’s needed and learns to keep some of her heart and humanity whereas her father lost everything and just wants wars.

*SPOILERS*

Being able to take Cerberus’ minds enabled Tessa to kill her father once and for all. Being able to separate from her wolf meant that his minds didn’t drive her crazy because she manages to keep them separate just like she keeps her wolf separate from her own mind and body. I anticipated this would happen. Seeing into the book Of old magic meant we saw the reason her father took the path he did. We didn’t hear what happened to his two sons who we were told about by the book of old magic. It just says they are somewhere that the Goddess cannot harm them or vice versa. We don’t see where they end up but I’m wondering if they will come into another book after reading the epilogue In Iyanas book?

I actually came to like The Killer in the end, he is forthcoming when he says he isn’t meant to be on this earth so the only thing he can do is kill because all his minds were useful in the underworld but not in this one. I’m sad they had to die though to kill her father. I would have liked to have seen him sent back to guard the underworld where his true purpose lies. The deceiver was a total dick (as he was meant to be) and he could intercept all the other minds which was interesting and meant Tessa didn’t have a physical attribute to know when he was there.

We were introduced to the angels and unlike what we think of angels these were badass warriors and guardians of the books of magic (all 4 of them).

We were also introduced to the Fae and their race and we learn they once occupied the Spire and eventually Tessa lets them live there again to make it a safer space to live in.

I loved Helen and all the Hidden House girls. I would have liked to know more about them like the twins but we only get a glimpse in Iyanas epilogue about Cody, Danika and Iyana. We don’t see anything of the other girls but I’d love a book on the twins etc. I’d also like to know if hidden house is still running for abused Supernaturals. In the epilogue we see The Woman in The Dark and we know the house is still there but we don’t see much about the activity that’s gone on in the house for the last 4 years or if any of them visit helen and the girls.

Oh yeah and Cody is still ALIVE! I was happy about this and so glad she kept him as her beta even though he lost his wolf back in previous book. We see Ella become Alpha and work through her mental problems after being mistreated by the witches. The Ella scenes made me cry and I wanted to hug her so tight. Her and Jace are perfect together and I know why she chose to break their bond and my heart ached when they came back together.

I would love to see Tessa and Tristan’s kids in the future, maybe in a clash with Tessa’s two brothers who want to avenge their fathers death. I also want to know if she takes her assassin cousin up on the offer of meeting and being part of his family and if she forgave her mother (I’m writing this a few days after reading so it’s possible we know about her mom but I can’t remember).

A good book and a different take on wolves, it won’t be a book I’ll re read but it was definitely something I am glad I read.

“To act out of love is never a weakness. It’s never a failure.”

I have so many conflicting emotions! This is the final book in Tessa and Tristan’s story, and contains the return of some beloved characters—who were mostly absent in the previous book—as well as a few bittersweet farewells.

“Our hearts and minds have been forged in fires that mean we will never walk an ordinary path.”

Frost isn’t reluctant to explore the complexity of human nature—or rather the paranormal equivalent—when it comes to her characters, which makes the lines between enemies and allies blurry. Especially when it comes to Cerberus.

“Each mind of Cerberus, a guardian of the dead, wrenched from his place in the underworld into a world in which his power became poison.”

He felt like an anti-hero to me by the end, which is an archetype I really enjoy in my male romantic leads. Out of his three minds, the Killer made the most impact on me. He was violent, angry, and bloodthirsty, but also lonely. Despite the misery and death he was responsible for, I wanted him to experience the feeling of belonging that was always out of his reach. Unfortunately, this would all come at the expense of Tristan’s life, who I also felt deserved a happy ending.

“I should hate them, but I also recognize that Cerberus’s power was trapped where it didn’t belong, corrupted by fate, and twisted over the course of hundreds of years. In the moments before the wolves died, I sensed Cerberus’s true nature—as a guardian.”

Overall, I felt like this was an appropriate end to this trilogy. There did seem to be some imbalance amongst the plot, world building, and character development across all three books, but it didn’t make them any less enjoyable for me. Those with a critical eye might feel differently.

“The Coward is right!” I cry. “We’ll both go down. You have to let me go!”

“Tessa.” Tristan lowers his voice. “I’d rather fucking crash with you than let you fall alone.”

—————————— ❂ ——————————

“This magic is killing me.” His voice is impossibly soft, “You need to be ready to let me go.”

I rest my head on his shoulder. “I’d rather crash with you,” I whisper.

This Caged Wolf is the third book in the Soul Bitten Shifter series. The first book, This Dark Wolf, ends with the mother of all Holy cliffhangers! While the second book, This Broken Wolf, also ends on a cliffhanger it is a very different kind of cliff. More like holy mother of all authors did she really just do that? I had to know what happened- with Tessa, Tristian and the surprise reveal at the end of book two. Will she be able to save herself? Will he allow her to save him? Can either of them be saved? The answers to these questions and so much more happen in This Caged Wolf.

Tessa ends This Broken Wolf by pushing away everyone who loves her except Tristian. She had to, no really she did, her father would have destroyed them to get to her. As for Tristian, his days are numbered unless Tessa and him find a way to stop what is to come. The Cerberus minds want to come out and play- which depending on who comes could be a good thing at times. Mostly though it is not and Tessa recognizes that she may be the only one who can help him.

The moments between Tessa and Tristian show how deeply connected they are. I love the way they love each other. They know the other is broken and yet they are each other’s glue. When the Cereberus minds roar their ugly heads, things get messy and tangled. It gets harder to separate them.

I thought I was ready, I thought I could handle it. I wasn’t, you know who was though? Tessa and our girl shows out in this book! I loved every minute of it. She allows her magic to grow, her rage to grow and even her love to grow. Her pack is the epitome of what it means to be pack. You know if you know and if you don’t you really need to read this series.

The secondary characters shine bright, with a few surprises mixed in. An old friend from a previous series shows up and well is really just themselves. The dynamic besties refuse to be pushed aside which is why they are the besties. Jace, takes to the role of quasi-alpha in Tristan’s absence, yet things get complicated.

A darker read, a series ender and love story that will twist you up inside this book has it all. Action, romance, and friendship all shine bright in this book. It is rare when a book ends with all the questions answered, a hint of a new series coming and a smile on the face of readers.

The soul bitten shifter series started my love of everly frosts books. Since then I have started to read her other series as well. I love her ability to weave together little pieces of the story by the ending. Tessa’s interactions with the other characters truly changed her and set the course for how things would progress. We also see how other series and their characters play into this one.

Tessa and tristian were both shrouded in darkness from the beginning of this series. Destined to be enemies and increase each other’s darkness. Instead they fell in love and help pull each other back into the light. They had to have such faith in each other to overcome the three different minds and still trust each other.

Tessa is truly a kind, caring soul despite what everyone tells her she should be due to her species. She’s fiercely protective of those she loves and is completely fearless where her own safety is concerned. She only shows fear when she is concerned for others.

Tristian shows his strength in his endless fight against his three minds. When he was finally able to be honest with Tessa he made sure to tell her everything to help her navigate the three headed wolf. He cars for other just as much as Tessa does and I think it helps them understand each other.

While I know the killer was supposed to be one of the bad guy I couldn’t help but love him. His intrigue for Tessa wrapped me up and I wanted them to find a way to live in harmony inside tristian. I guess I’m a little crazy like that, lol.

This series wrapped me up and I was incredibly invested in the characters and this world. I can’t want to see what happens next with iyana.

The woman is stupid talented. The series seems extremely low on diversity which I'm not angry at. I'd rather someone write from a place of truth instead of a place of tinting, or throwing in gay folk.

It again feels like one big book and not a series. Which sucks I'm not angry but I'm probably not going to keep reading this author for that reason. I like a complete narrative when I read a book. When we hit the second book I don't mind fake out cliff hangers where the person doesn't win but the next book is coming out. As long as most of the goals in the stories or the "step" the char needs to make to get stronger whatever is met in a whole way. That isn't the way she writes her books through she writes it like one big book then splits them up using cliff hangers which is a lot to deal with.

Although this ends better then her last book the lack of epilogue is noticeable. Also, forcing me to read a side char that wasn't develop that well in the original series just sorta sucks to read the update.

For most paranormal readers this series and this author fits. You actually get TONS more then normal paranormal writers the action is really good. The sex scenes are soso bit dry not bad though.

I'd give this a solid 3 and 4 for undemanding readers. I'd probably never reread this author without making major changes to the ways he writes book and labels them. I'd still say it's worth it to read her angel series. It wasn't that bad if you are into paranormal romance. If you are into urban fantasy this author is a big no.

Gripping End to a Compelling Series

This book-hangover was a doozy! Brava Everly Frost! It's taken me days to find the words to describe how much I enjoyed this series, particularly this book. The finale comes together in a fabulous mix of action, romance, magic, heartbreak, friendship, tears, battle, rescues, and so much more.

Beginning right where book two left readers hanging, book three immediately pulled me back into the story. The pacing is fast, in a way that is appropriate to all the pieces falling into place. This Caged Wolf pulls together the action and characters from book one and the emotion of book two in a seamless blend that leads to a satisfying end to Tessa's journey. And keep the tissues handy!

I enjoy Frost's writing style and the editing was well-done. For those who missed the variety of supporting characters in book two, you will be happy to know they have a much larger role in book three. Additionally, fans of Frost will recognize cameos and cross-overs from many of the author's other series. This series can be read without reading those, but it's a fun tie-in and will give readers new to the author even more books to read.

Tessa's story has been a memorable one. I highly recommend this series for anyone looking for a dark fantasy romance that brings out all the feels. I look forward to reading more in this world.

Considering i was a mess still from the second installment i wasnt sure how i was going to cope emotionally with the third book!!!!

I will be honest it took me alittle while to get into this but only because i was heart broken from the second book and kept thinking about a certain character who sacrificed himself and couldnt believe that was it........... i mean thats what Miss Crafty Every had me believe!!!!!!!

This book was a brilliant conclusion to which brought all unanswered questions together and the final battle was bitter sweet for sure... i loved how other book characters made an appearance, i though was was a great touch.

Soooooo many characters you fall in love with and hope they get their happy ending.
You really broke me with this series, i think i experienced every emotion- WELL PLAYED 🥰

i cant wait for book 4 on Iyana and i would love more on Cody and Danika.
Im so happy Ella and Cody were reunited and managed to pull through everything they each experienced.

I have no words for Tristan and Tessa 🤯🤯🤯- talk about a rollarcoaster ride and a perfect ending!!!!!!

If i could give more than 5stars i would... 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

A sweet ending to a good series way too soon!
Claim oneself! Loved it. Tessa's need to protect the people she loves is so thoughtful yet she needs them too which she doesn't realize but her friends do. Her mother threw her away, that is so gross. I like the assassin leader better and her mother deserves to be punished for even trying to come and kill Tessa. How can she believe that her daughter will be like her father? Tessa saves Tristan by taking the three-headed wolf herself and ultimately frees them. A good twist that too. Tessa has made a pack for herself. Cody and Danika becoming cosy is a sweet twist. I like the concept of anyone can be pack. Finally, Ella kills her father, the brute. One's own parents, it is vile. But I guess it is what makes this story so interesting.
After reading the entire series only I felt that while some events could have been avoided or dealt with in a different way, I succumbed to the author's narration. I guess the lead needed to develop as well. So in a way, she may not have figured out a way to help Tristan and kill her father if she had not been thrown in those events.

This Caged Wolf by Everly Frost is book 3 in the Soul Bitten Shifter series and is the perfect conclusion to Tristan and Tessa’s story. I think this series has officially become my favorite Everly Frost series I’ve read so far!

Tessa really goes on such an emotional journey throughout this series. I loved getting to see her finally accept love and create her own family and pack while also embracing her darkness/rage as a part of herself. The steam level definitely kicks up in this book and I loved getting to see Tessa fight for Tristan and the love that they share. I also fell in love with all the supporting characters in this series and I’m excited for them to get their own spin-off stories too.

I’ve read a ton of paranormal/urban fantasy romance, and this series really does have a totally unique feel and storyline to it. Everly always does such an amazing job at writing stories with emotional depth that just drag you into them and won’t let you go. This series is definitely going into my reread pile and I can’t wait to see what Everly comes up with next!

What a fantastic conclusion to Everly’s latest series. It’s hard to write a review that does this book complete justice without giving anything away, but if you’re like me and like to read reviews of all books in a series before committing to a new author, then I have this for you: The whole series is excellent. Everly has such a unique twist on magic that it is fun to read. Her characters are dynamic, the girl power is strong in this one without making the men weak. Female and male characters, both, are very well written. Additionally, the multiple crossovers from her other series are woven in so well. It’s lovely to see how her worlds intermingle. Such a sense of completion and satisfaction over a series well written. If you’ve read Everly before, you will not be disappointed in the least. If you are looking for a new author in this genre, I absolutely recommend this series along with the others you get a fun glimpse of.
Happy Reading!

Great Ending!

What an amazing ending to this series. The Bright Ones is still my favorite series but this was a good read.

One of the things that I like about Everly’s books is the partnership she creates between the main couples of the story. Honestly, I did not really feel that in this book. I would have loved to see more of Tristan in the series as a whole, however, I can kind of tell that Everly was trying to create an independent and strong heroine who is not defined by anyone else. I like how Tessa grows to be a leader in her own right and fierce in her love for others.

Overall, it was a beautiful story and a great ending to fit with that though I do know that Iyana’s story is up next. I also did not see Cody and Danika becoming a thing at all. I’m pretty much neutral about that but I’m sure they’ll be a good pair.

Great work Everly! This may not have been my favorite series but I still enjoyed it. Was definitely a worthy wait and good break from work.

Excellent conclusion to Tessa and Tristan story...

But at least not the end to the world...
A good 4,5 stars read.
The growth and friendship Tessa built from book 1 have been wonderful to read and experience. The strength and determination of facing her father were worthy read.
The twists and turns are enigmatic and engaging, leaving you wanting more. Binge reading this book was totally worth it.
The final battle was well thought out, surprisingly well executed and shocking. Best part of the whole series. The relief and satisfaction were glorious experiences. It was a hard journey for Tessa, but she did a fantastic job. (Well, the author did)
Well written story is filled with action, friendships, family, comradery, but most of all, love.
Everyone deserves love, no matter how dark you believe your soul is.
An exceedingly fun read, definitely recommend. It's totally worth the read.

Great end to Tristan and Tessa's story

Book 3 was a great end to Tristan and Tessa's story. At the end of book 2 we were faced with Tessa succumbing to her darkness hand in hand with the Killer not knowing what these changes would mean for her character or her friends.

It was great to have the interactions with Tristan in conjunction with the minds of Cerberus. Is it weird that I actually liked Killer?

I was also happy to find out that something I hoped would happen after the events at the end of book 2 did happen. There are some characters you don't want to lose.

Tessa's journey in book 3 greatly differed to her journey in the previous books. In book 1 she was healing, in book 2 she was captive. In book 3 she's free and picking up allies everywhere she goes. I guess in a way, book 3 is about choices.

Looking forward to Iyana's story.
