There are no more secrets looming between Taylor and Ransom. But sometimes, the truth can be just as damaging. After an encounter in an alley with Taylor’s ex, Brad, goes horribly wrong, the pair has to decide how far they’re willing to go to stay together and not let past traumas define them. As they travel up and down the East Coast, Taylor and Ransom’s relationship will be put to the test. Unfortunately, it’s not the only relationship they have to worry about. From a reunion with Ransom’s dysfunctional biological family to an attempt at finally putting the Brad drama to rest, Taylor and Ransom need to find out how they got to this point—and where they’ll go from here.
Elizabeth Hayley is actually “Elizabeth” and “Hayley,” two friends who love reading romance novels to obsessive levels. This mutual love prompted them to put their English degrees to good use by penning their own. They learned a ton about each other through the process, like how they clearly share a brain and have a persistent need to text each other constantly. They live with their husbands and kids in a Philadelphia suburb. Thankfully, their children are still too young to read.

This month I was planning to catch up with more reading. This weekend particularly. However, I have so many errand to run and many things that need my attention. My mind is being pulled in many direction. So O am bit behind on my reading.
Now about this book. Let's Not & Say We Did, is the conclusion for Ransom and Taylor story. I like these two. And when they embarked a road trip to get to Ransom's parents, things get very interesting. Miss Hayley done a good job narrating the story.
The banter, the conversation and the people in Ransom's childhood town are hilarious. I cracked a smile and laugh here and there. I can say that I want to read more from Miss Hayley in the future.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC Kindle copy of this book. I was really looking forward to this one because the last one ended the way it did. I'm happy to say it did not disappoint. I enjoyed the storyline and the best part was the journey Ransom and Taylor took. The things that happened to them were quite outrageous. It was all wrapping up nicely but the end definitely surprised me and left me curious enough to eagerly wait for the next one.
I really hate to give this book a 3 rating. I barely do that with any books. It took me over a week to read it because I will lose interest in the story. Personally I feel it needed more drama or more heat something. I made it thru the book by skimming. I did love their crazy humor together maybe it needed more of that. I did receive this book in a exchange for a honest review.
Another really great addition to The Love Games Series! I absolutely adore Taylor and Ransom (especially Ransom!) and all the craziness they found themselves in their second book together. At the end of Truth or Dare You, we were left with the horrifying ending where Ransom's future was in jeopardy because he was protecting Taylor (talk about cliff hangover). And sadly Taylor felt responsible for all the bad that may come to Ransom because she simply would not listen. In this book though we see them work through it all and come out stronger in the end. Per usual there were so many laughs and so many feel good moments in this book. Elizabeth Hayley certainly knows how to pack a story with so many "no freaking way" moments ranging from new friends to booking the wrong ticket and ending up miles away from where you need to be. Throughout their failures though we see them truly grow as a couple. We get to see how Ransom grew up and how the family who did love and deserve him shaped him into the incredible man he is now. We get to see Taylor being her boss lady self again and stand up for her man as well as herself time and time again. This truly was one of my favorite's so far in the series! I adore this new character Owen and his HILARIOUS antics and his wacky fun family. I adore the Holts and their love for Ransom. I love Hudson and her admiration of her big brother. I am completely obsessed with Ransoms strength and his realizing his self worth and what that means for his future with Taylor by his side. They really are perfect together. They raise each other up and they make each other laugh and they feed off of each other in a way that compliments both their strengths and their weaknesses. I truly believe Elizabeth Hayley NAILED their love story! And as always the Scooby gang never fails to make this series truly unique, they still rock and I can't wait for more of them! This book actually really hit home for me personally and I love when I can relate with the characters and storyline. Ransom and I have a lot in common on the family front and I loved that his future was never determined by where he came from. I love that he made the best of his life and never used the excuse that he couldn't because his mother didn't. He truly is a special character in my heart and I already miss him! I can't wait for more because I have soooooo many theories for Tag, We're it!!
Ransom and Taylor are in a relationship that started as a friendship and turned into love. One night on her way home from work Taylor is attacked by the man that is stalking her. Ransom sees the attack begin and steps in to stop it before the unimaginable happens. After Ransom loses his cool to protect Taylor from her ex., they retreat to the sidewalk and proceed home. Thinking that the past is securely behind them Ransom and Taylor wake up to hear about the murder in the same alley where Taylor was attacked. Their minds go right to the idea that they have harmed someone even though they did not mean to. Trying to find out what happened is not easy since they do not want to let the police in on the fact that they were in the area right before the murder.
As the stress starts to eat away at both Ransom and Taylor, Ransom's mother calls him and invites him to a family reunion. After an initial decline of the invitation, Ransom and Taylor accept and head to GA on a road trip that begins to take them on an even more stressful adventure where they come in contact with some funny, boisterous, and mouthy characters.
In the end, Ransom realizes he has an amazing family waiting for him where he calls home, a loving girlfriend, and a bright future. Will he be able to have the future of his dreams or will he find himself admitting to the police he committed murder. Will Talyor be an accomplice or able to help Ransom explain what happened.
This brilliant read was fast-paced and witty, full of colorful characters and a murder mystery. Let's Not and Say we did is a must-read after Truth or Dare.
Let's not and say we did is book number five in the Love Game series it starts off continuing from where ready or not left off. Taylor and Ransom have a unique chemistry they're going through the motions after a terrifying event that played out between Ransom and Taylor's ex-boyfriend. Their Journey is a colossal "what now" type of events that unfold. Starting off with heading down to the reunions of ransoms family and getting sidetracked by taking owing to his family's home all they have ransomes truck breakdown and the craziness that happens to them on their way is hilarious, buying tickets to the wrong place, then between meeting ransom's family at his family reunion and the problems of what happened during the confrontation with Taylor's ex-boyfriend, it almost seems like it's one crazy Event after another. one would almost say if they didn't have bad luck they wouldn't have any luck at all. Now this book and this story had me going through a lot the nervousness of what are they going to do next, how are they going to get out of the situations and then the banter between them, the inside jokes, the laughter some of the scenes had me in stitches laughing so much. I thoroughly enjoyed Let's not and say we did. Elizabeth Hayley are an incredible dynamic duo. Every time I read one of their stories I constantly have a smile on my face and I am so into their world I sometimes lose track of time. They're brilliant at what they do and they always give you a wonderful storyline and keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more. This is a must read for sure.
HOLY SMOKES! Talk about a roller coaster, but a whole different version. You know when you're at the top and the coaster is slowly getting to the peak but as soon as it's over said peak you don't even have enough time before you can have an appropriate scream? Yeah that's this book in such a good way! Of course it starts off right where book 4 left off. Literally. Can NOT thank the authors more for that one... but geez! It has comedy that will literally make you laugh out loud, anger that has you wanting to fight gladiators, and pure happiness. But that ending??? Are y'all trying to make me have a panic attack?!?!
Ransom and Taylor pick up right where book 4 left off... worried they are not only going to be blamed for a crime, but they will be the ones punished also. When they take Owen back to his family, I literally laughed. The banter back and forth was GREAT and well rounded. There wasn't a family member you wouldn't love. Then the reunion... anger boils within but not for the reasons you would think..no that comes later. I hate to give so many details, however the attention to every detail is devine. Elizabeth Hayley, y'all really couldn't have done better in my opinion. I honestly cannot wait for book 6. I'm assuming it will also be about Ransom and Taylor, but that cliffhanger... I KNOW Ransom is going to save the day.. I'm just hoping Hudson didn't get caught up somehow with Taylors past drama. That would be infuriating!
5 stars hands down. If I could give more, I definitely would.
Let's Not and Say We Did is book 5 in Elizabeth Hayley's Love Game Series. It picks up right where the previous book left off. Ransom and Taylor decide to get out of town for a little and go to Ransom's family reunion in Georgia. Much of this book takes place on their hilarious journey to and from Georgia and through the eventful reunion. We get to meet Ransom's family, see the love Melissa and Matt have for him, and get to know Ransom more. We also get to see how much Taylor loves him and always has his back. Of course it wouldn't be a Love Series book if it didn't end on a bit of a cliffhanger. I can't wait to see how the story unfolds in the next book with this surprising new information. As with all Elizabeth Hayley books, there's moments that make you want to laugh out loud and ones that touch your heart. I am a huge fan of their writing and this is a fabulous series!
This series continues to Amaze! I’m so glad we continue here in this book with Ransom and Taylor. The wit and banter between these two lasts for days and it makes for such a fun and entertaining read! The journey that Ransom takes in this book to reconnect with his biological and adopted family makes this a heartwarming and heartbreaking read! Matt and Melissa his adopted parents are such great and supportive parents and the love they show Taylor coming into the mix is just wonderful.
Even though this book moves more away from the core group of friends that are in the other books I didn’t feel any less connected to that group or like I was missing a part of a larger story line.
The romance is on fire and the banter is on point and the cliffhanger is the end as expected in each of these books! That means…. I’m so ready for the next one! Bring it on Elizabeth Haley, Bring it On!
There are better things ahead than any we leave behind...
Elizabeth Hayley are definitely a dynamic duo. This book continues with Ransom and Taylor being left with a shocker at the end of Ready or Not. So deliciously devious ladies, I love it!! The cherry on the top of this story is when Ransom and Taylor go to a reunion with Ransom's family. Now that was hilarious reading with all the quirky family members. But it was also a cathartic experience for Ransom to finally get rid of all the built up hurt and pain he has been holding onto for his entire life.
Ransom and Taylor's relationship is taken to a whole new level, and oh my all the FEELS in this book. The ending was a jolt to the system and has me eager to find out what happens next.
Ransom thought he had done the worst thing, anyone could possibly do! And it was all done out of love.
Ransom;s birth family was having a reunion in Georgia. They invited him. Taylor insisted that given the circumstances, maybe it's best they go.
There were so many LOL moments throughout this book, that while reading recently, while waiting at an appointment, I had many eyes looking at me, from snickering out loud so many times. There were also a few teary eyed moments as well.
As always, Elizabeth Hayley writes the perfect mixture of happy and sad. They just keep you coming back for more.
Let;s Not & Say We Did is book 5 in the Love Game Series, which must be read in order, starting with Never Have You Ever.
When Taylor’s Ex shows up in town and proceeds to start scaring and stalking her again, Ransom decides to step up as her boyfriend and confront the problem head on. After a confrontation in the alley after leaving work leaves Taylor shaken, they believe they have made their point to Brad and he will leave them alone! When they awake the next morning and here news that there was a body found in the very same alley they left Brad badly beaten, they immediately assume that Ransom killed him and so they decide to go on the run - together — because of course it would be together! What could go wrong making that choice, right?! This is where things get hysterically crazy and you don’t want to miss it!! I loved every single second of this book!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ransom and Taylor pick up where they left off last book, with her stalker dead. While trying to avoid the police (who have yet to come looking for them), they set out on a trek to see his family at a reunion. They are coerced to take a friends friend along to drop him off with his family. What ensues is utter chaos. Opinion This book in the series, most of all, resembles a tv comedy. The hilarity that Taylor and Ransom find themselves in is laugh out loud, shake your head at them and almost cry over what’s happened humor. I’ve loved the whole series but this one is by far my favorite. Many thanks to Bare Naked Words and Robyn Lee for providing me with an ARC of this book.
Elizabeth Hayley did it again. Book 5 in the series and it had me on the tip of my seat the entire time. This story continues with Ransom and Taylor. You would think with everything that they have already been through, nothing else right? WRONG!! There are some super funny conversations that you can literally invision while reading, yes the writing it THAT good, and then there's part you want to scream at. (I'm talking about you Aunt Renee, I hate you!) All and all, you will experience the emotional rollercoaster... but by the end you will be salivating for the next one...believe me. Elizabeth Hayley is starting to leave cliffhangers like Ms. Helen Hardt. 5 stars hands down.
Wow, I have loved this series so far and it is a very addictive series. I was even more excited for this one after the way the last one ended on a cliffhanger.
I have loved Taylor and Ransom's unique chemistry, especially after a series of unexpected events. There is soo much that happens and I don't want to give too much away but be prepared for alot of emotions and especially alot of banter.
I can't wait to see what the amazing authors do next in this amazingly addictive read, highly recommend both authors and the series.
Elizabeth Hayley does it again in book 5 of the Love Game series! In Let’s Not and Say We Did, we pick up where Ready or Not leaves off. Ransom and Taylor continue to grow together through all the things happening in their lives. We are introduced to new characters and let’s just say we are not disappointed. I absolutely love Owen!
This book not only makes you question what’s going to happen next but keeps you laughing, wishing, and hoping for all good things for Ransom and Taylor. I can’t get enough of these stories and don’t want this series to ever end. With all the characters we have seen since book 1, I can see many future enjoyable stories ahead!
Let's Not & Say We Did is book 5 in The Love Game series and I would have to say it is my favorite of the series so far! Taylor and Ransom have a friends-t0-lovers relationship and their chemistry was boiling. This book had so much in it, mystery, drama, passion, and of course, humor.
Elizabeth and Hayley are two of my all-time favorites and this book is exactly why. The character development, and the plot twists, and the laugh-out-loud moments were incredible and I couldn't help but fall in love with Taylor and Ransom... and that freaking ending! Gah!!
Ransom and Taylor. I don’t know about y’all but I’ve been waiting for this one since Truth or Dare! This is a must read! While the Love Games is technically a stand alone series I highly suggest reading Truth or Dare first. Elizabeth Haley has done their magic again and manages to make laugh out loud several times and when I finished I was feeling good. Romance and comedy what more can a gal ask for!?!?!?
Wow not what I was expecting but in such a good way. When I started this book it was hard to wondering about Ransom's and Taylor's fate. We're they going to be okay? The more I read the more worried I became. I went through should a Rollercoaster of emotions with these two. Alot more that with Shopia and Drew. I am surprised how Ransom and Taylor was able to stick together throughout this crazy time. I can't wait to see how there story continues.
This storyline just keeps getting better and better! When we first met this group of characters, I never could have imagined all the places they would take us. This book goes from scary, to romantic, to sexy, to hysterically funny — sometimes all in one chapter!! I honestly can’t wait to see where we go next with this gang of misfits!! I love this series so much!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love Ransom and Taylor’s story. The road trip up and down the East coast and their misadventures was absolutely hilarious! Seeing how far they were willing to go to be with each other was amazing. That ending… quite the twist.. These gals sure know how to write a story and keep you laughing. Looking forward to reading the next part.. I received an advance copy for my honest review…
This was the first book I had read in the series and while it probably would have been helpful to read the other stories, I really didn't have a problem figuring out what was going on. The characters have a fun banter which makes their relationship seem real. They are dealing with some demons though and learning more about each other. The cliffhanger leaves you wanting more.
The book starts off right where book 4 ended (cliff hanger!) The main focus continues on Taylor and Ransom and we get to see how they handle stressful situations about themselves and their relationship. Per the usual, there are many laughs and moments of love. Elizabeth Hayley totally nailed it with this book (and series!) and I can't wait to read more!
This book made me laugh, made me cry, made me wanting more. I couldn't put it down. And on the last page I couldn't believe it was the end. A little romance and a little suspense makes it a great book in my mind.
This book was so fun to read. Elizabeth Hayley did not disappoint with book 5 in the love games series. I loved every minute of Ransom and Taylor’s road trip and meeting new characters. I can’t wait to see what happens in book 6.
I received a copy of this book for an honest review ♥️
I love Ransom and Taylor. They are amazing! This story is so funny and I loved all the twists and turns around the way. You can never go wrong with an Elizabeth Hayley book. This series is the best. I look forward to the next one.
Really enjoyed this fun and highly entertaining adventure. Funny, sweetly sexy and engaging romantic journey that is filled with witty banter, heart pounding action and undeniable passion.... The charters are interesting, engaging and relatable.
Ransom and Taylor believe they have killed Brad who was stalking Taylor. While trying to deal with this they are also dealing with going to a family reunion to see Ransom’s family. Things get a little weird for these two while trying to figure out what to do next.
I read this book in a day. It was sweet but based on the ending of the last book it felt like there should have been more action. It was more about the characters passed which was not expected but it was good to get a better idea of who these characters are to each other.
4.5 stars I loved Owen and his family! ❤️ I love love love this friend group and the stories! I'm gonna ve so sad when it's over. Ramson is my favorite male in the series for sure such a strong, caring man! I don't like that they thought they killed someone that was a little rough.
