An enjoyable read with interesting characters and a well-paced adventure. I also appreciated that she took on some difficult themes (and handled them tactfully) that aren't typically addressed in fantasy writing. I look forward to reading the next book.

Excellent read

Very well written. The plot is common, with twists that are clearly visible but pleasing to see fulfilled. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
