Meagan Schanfish has spent her life devoted to a love of fantasy, and hopes to one day write books that will keep the child that she was up past bedtime with a flashlight. This dream is what drove her to pursue a double Bachelor’s degree in English and Education and curate an impressive editorial backlog. An enjoyable read with interesting characters and a well-paced adventure. I also appreciated that she took on some difficult themes (and handled them tactfully) that aren't typically addressed in fantasy writing. I look forward to reading the next book.
