This collection of 6 stories by talented authors all have something in common … Each features a cowboy and/or a cowgirl with dynamic personalities and an instalove connection. I read them all within 2 days and I can honestly say I did like them all to varying degrees, although they were totally different from one another.
Too Hot to Trot by Becky McGraw

This was an interesting story, but it was kind of frustrating because of the constant back and forth between Zack and Heather. They sometimes aggravated me almost as much as they aggravated one another.
Heather survived attempted rape by somebody close to her, plus other significant traumas when she was a teenager. (Some people might even appreciate a trigger warning.) Somehow talking to Zack about it briefly once provide a colossal breakthrough for her. That was a lot to swallow for me. There are also seriously complex legal matters that go away with lightning speed. I think this was nicely written but it could have benefited from having this complicated story be presented in a longer format. I did like the HEA.

This was a quick and sweet romance about a relatively new country music star and the small town girl he meets and falls in love with. Linc is a good guy who is feeling smothered by his own success, and takes some time to go incognito into the world. He finds his musical muse in Alyssa, a young woman struggling to make ends meet can support her grandmother and the remnants of their family farm. Linc and Alyssa are both good people, in a low angst story that will make you smile.

Coop and Melanie are connected by an incredibly difficult situation. A fertility clinic mix-up has left her pregnant by his twin brother, who has passed away. Wow, there is an avalanche of emotion. The 2 of them managed to work out their issues. They also develop a powerful connection on their own, and and reach the HEA that they richly deserve.
A Cowgirl's Highlander by Sara Walter Ellwood

Hamish and Ellie were appealing characters, both of them dealing with difficult past circumstances. My biggest problem with them was that they could have solved a lot of issues with conversation. When they finally got out of their own way, they got a nice happy ending as a reward.
Wild About Her Cowboy by Em Petrova

Noah and Maya Ray were both solid characters, and their alliance to get revenge on their respective ex’s was fun. I liked the way they quickly developed feelings for one another beyond the physical attraction they immediately had for one another. His family is full of boisterous, engaging characters, and she fits in with them perfectly.
The ending was sweet, and then I will admit to how excited I got to see that this is the introduction to a new series!

I liked Whit and Henley and enjoy their story, although I think it would have benefited from being longer. It really grabs you from the very first pages. some issues in the plot seemed a little inconsistent to me. I also would have like to know more about how he would help his son cope with the trauma of losing his mom. I know it’s a romance novel, but better understanding the darker side of things makes the happy parts even more wonderful.

This was a steamy cowboy romance collection. Some stories I liked more than others.
In Too Hot to Trot Heather and Zack don't like each other but she feels beholden to him after he saves her from being raped and possibly killed and in the process ruins his chances of continuing to compete in bull riding. They fight and make up by sleep together through most of the book. I felt bad for Heather having to run from her sexual predator step-father and hide her identity. That added to the drama, but no more than what was going on between Heather and Zack with all the breakups.
In Cowboy True Linc wants to escape from his life as a famous country singer for a while and ends up working as a really low paid hand on Alyssa's ranch. She's trying to win a barrel racing competition to save her family's ranch. They spend most of the book in bed. It was a bit unbelievable that she needed pointers on barrel racing, had ulcer surgery, and then expected to win the race.
In All Cowboy and Charm, author Melanie is trying to find out more about her sperm donor after she was inseminated with the wrong vial. Coop was initially attracted to her, but wanted nothing to do with her when she claims she's carrying his dead brother Cade's baby. When he realizes the truth Coop starts to wonder if maybe Cade brought them together. But his mistrust in the beginning may tear them apart.
In A Cowgirl's Highland Ellie's ex is trying to make her foreclose on her family's ranch. In a last ditch effort to raise money to pay the mortgage she wants to sell her prizewinning race horse breeder to Hamish. I loved his accent and his sexy way with words. Ellie has too much pride and jumps to conclusions at times. It almost costs her everything.
In High-Stakes Cowboy, Maya Ray and Noah are trying to get back at their exs pretending to be in a relationship to make them jealous. But their passion and feelings for each other start to get in the way. I loved that she out fished him and his brothers. I liked his brothers too and I'm looking forward to reading more about them and their new security firm.

Whit is trying to help his twin boys Morgan and Virgil get over the loss of their mother to cancer. Maisie and Virgil were cute with their hand holding texting young romance. Shy precocious little Frannie was sweet. And Jimmy just wanted the father he never really had to spend time with and go fishing.

These books are all about cowboys, love and friendship. It’s a fantastic deal for the price. Some books are part of a series but can be enjoyed as standalones. I enjoy all of the stories in this set.

This is a good boxset which let's you try out different authors at the same time as enjoying some cowboy stories, bonus :o)
I enjoyed some more than others and I have to say that the one I enjoyed the most was Em Petrova's High Stakes Cowboy; the characters, connections, chemistry and passion just shone for me and I wanted to keep on reading to see where life went next for them and to see what happened to his brothers. The novella left me with a smile on my face and knowing when I need a pick me up I'll be reading that short story again.

Six full length books about hot, alpha cowboys and the women they fall hard and fast for. I enjoyed all the books, but one of my favorites was High-Stakes Cowboy with Noah and Maya. Who better to have a fake relationship with than a hot cowboy and hot girl. When they're ex's start dating each other, they decide to show them by faking a relationship, which becomes real, real fast. Great paced stories, fun, steamy, all great reads.

The only book I have read so far is All Cowboy and Charm. I am leaving a review for that one book now. Rhonda Lee Carver did a great job on this book. I loved it. It is well written and has awesome characters. I am a big fan of Ms. Carver. This was a quick easy read for me. I would encourage you to get this set if for no other reason than this book. I will be reading the rest of the books here and if they are as good as this one this set would be what I call a keeper.

This box set contains 6 books, each by a different author. There is a variety of tropes along the way. I have not made it through all of the stories yet but what I have read so far I have found to be well written, enjoyable story-line and wonderful characters.

A wonderful box set with six books by different authors that have amazing stories. 1. Too Hot to Trot by Becky McGraw; 2. Cowboy True by Melissa Keir; 3. All Cowboy and Charm by Rhonda Lee Carver; 4. A Cowgirl's Highlander by Sara Walter Ellwood; 5. High States Cowboy by Em Petrova; 6. Henley's Whit by D'Ann Lindun. This is a fantastic way to discover new authors you have never read before and to read more by the authors you thoroughly enjoy. The characters have sizzling chemistry and of course fall in love and each storyline kept me entertained.

This is a compilation of six books from six different authors writing about the cowboys everyone loves. The authors do not disappoint and after reading this anthology I plan on checking out more from these authors. There is love, intrigue, drama, stubborn women and alpha male cowboys throughout. You will not want to put it down until you finish every last story.

Six great cowboy stories in this boxed set by some very good Authors. I enjoyed reading them all. I am going to do a review for High-Stakes Cowboy by Em Petrova which I though turned out great when Maya Ray's and Noah Wynton’s ex's dump them and they get together they where meant to be together. This set is well worth reading.

These were some really great journeys to romance. Most were quick, fun reads with a bit of drama and some lovely heat to them. Well worth the read and maybe finding a new to you author or two. All were new reads except for the first story, and still it was a good reread. Well known authors, all very talented.

At first, I thought it’s an enemies to lovers romance but it is so much more than that. Heather has a complicated character with a sad background story. Zack has a complicated situation but he has good family support. Heather and Zack’s relationship has depth. It wasn’t straight attraction. It feels like reality. The plot is a rollercoaster. There are some parts that drag but mostly, the story flows well. I like how the author started the end conflict .

This has to be the most fun book I’ve read from this author. The plot is fast-paced. The dialogue is very entertaining. The chemistry between Maya Ray and Noah is scorching. This book makes me glad I downloaded this collection.

The background of the two main characters in this book has depth. Henley is a divorcee while Whit is a widow. They have kids of their own. They have family issues as well as financial problems. Henley and Whit feels like real people.

I just know this is going to be a great boxed set. I've read Em Petrova's story so far, looks like this will be a wonderful series.

I really enjoyed reading this collection of cowboy romances . They are fantastic , well written and sexy . Who does not love sexy cowboys . I highly recommend taking the time to read and enjoy .

Great mix of stories
Loved this box set. My favorite was All Cowboy and Charm by Rhonda Lee Carver where we meet the Dawson family who lives in the small town of Dove Grey. Unexpected events bring Melanie to this town where she finds answers to an unexpected turn of events that she faces. Hopefully we will see a series evolve with the Dawson family. A great job was done by all authors and I would enjoy reading more in each series,

These are some hawt and sexy cowboys riding within these pages! This is a great way to sample different authors in a specific genre you like, and who doesn't like a cowboy? The stories are well written with some great characters to cozy up with for a good night's read.

All Cowboy and Charm was a story I hated to see end. I got swept up in the characters and the attraction immediately. It’s connections like this that makes a fast love believable. Magical. Book gifted to me.

The one thing these stories have in common besides the cowboy element is that they are all about instalove.
Too Hot to Trot by Becky McGraw 2.5 stars
This was not one of my favorite Becky McGraw reads. It was exhausting going through Zack and Heather/Haley's back and forth. Their constant arguing was irritating. All of that took away from what I thought could be a good story. By the end, I didn't care if they got together or not.
Cowboy True by Melissa Keir 3 stars
This was a short, sweet, instalove romance. Linc found his musical muse in Alyssa. I liked that Linc was not a stuck up superstar. I didn't dislike Alyssa. I didn't feel much about her one way or the other. Alyssa took a chance on a stranger, and it changed her life. I was glad that Linc's manager did not end up being the type of man indicated by his initial behavior.

Hamish and Ellie were likable characters. Her ex, Loren, definitely played the villain well. I could understand Hamish's hesitancy about a relationship after what happened with his wife. I could even understand Ellie's hesitancy as her experience with betrayal was more recent. I just hate when the main characters have a misunderstanding and one or the other REFUSES to even listen or try to have a conversation. They managed to get their HEA.

I liked both Noah and Maya Ray. The whole concept of getting back at their ex's was fun. I liked the way they fell for each other, and that Maya Ray fit in with the Wynton's so well. "Wild About Cowboys" is six hot western romance novellas all in one boxset, and sure to be outstanding with this group of authors. A great boxset for western romance readers to be able to read some of their favorites and maybe one they haven't discovered yet. **I was gifted "Wild About Cowboys" via Booksprout and leave my review based on my reading.**

Oh my goodness that was the best story I have read in a long time!!! It was hot and touching and made me cry! I can’t wait to hear about the other brothers.... Melanie and Coops story is AMAZING! The romance and self doubt make this couple come alive!

I am glad I got this box set to read. All six books are great and easy to follow along and read. I found new authors and got to read from some I already love. Love all the cowboys and how they value what they believe in.
