Steamy Intrigue
I read this as I knew the author as an old 'shipmate'. He always had an old paperback stuffed in his waste and could shut himself off from the mayhem of boredom of naval life.
His short story kept me going on a recent wet trip to Spain.
His description of the desert town and isolation would not be too far off even now!
I haven't had time to look for any further novels of short stories but hopefully there are more to come.
Jan probably doesn't know how cool he came across as a killick to an RNR RO2!!!!!
