The story is not perfect, but it's really engaging. I am obsessed with the manhwa version and I couldn't wait anymore on season 4 so I started reading the novel. Made me realize how much the beautiful art distracts from some obvious flaws in the story, but I don't mind - still love it!
After reading the manhwa updates over the course of multiple months I decided to pick the novel up as I couldn't wait to see how the story was going to progress. This is one of my favorite manhwas so it comes as no surprise that I love the novel just as much. The manhwa is currently on hiatus so it's so nice to see the characters again also also see their progress, because a lot happens in this novel!
I love Tia, she is such a brilliant main character. The scheming, her problem solving skills and personality are all amazing and she is only 13 years old! (Technically). I love how everyone takes her seriously because she has proved herself, and I already know absolutely everything will go her way, as it should.
Perez is also adorable, he is so protecting if Tia and you can so clearly see that he would give her the whole world if she asked for it. Yet she is dense enough to not realize his feelings.
I can't wait to see Tia be the matriarch, even though it means we will lose grandpa who has been one if the greatest characters in the series. We also have to talk about Gallhan! It's to unusal to see a daughter-father bond that feels so genuine and strong. It's really refreshing to see and I love them together!
how satisfying watching tia one step ahead all these despicable royals and still building fortune, connections, and intel at such a young age. the only thing is that the romance build up is so freaking slowwwwww. i know they're going into a time jump soon, in season 3, but i just want tia to notice perez more!!!! i think the forehead kiss did the trick though (well done perez!)
as they grow older, the issues and political struggles they will face will amp up even more. the royals won't sit back and do nothing when the lombardi family is on the rise. the empress wants her son on the throne, not perez so that will be a huge fight.
-------- currently read till: chapter 86
this webtoon just took over my entire afternoon. absolutely hooked in the storyline, the political drama, the romance, and the characters. before time travelled back, tia lived a miserable life after her father and grandfather passed away. although she tried saving the family, her uncles ruined the once prosperous line with their inadequate play at politics and gambling habits. reborn as the younger version of herself, tia is determined to turn things around and actually win the favor of her grandfather, the head of the lombardy family, as well as save her father from an incurable illness.
i just loved this so so much. the relationship that tia has with her father just makes me wanna protect them every time i see them interact. it’s precious and shows that they love each other a lot. although the uncles (and some of their children) are horrible human beings, tia’s aunt and grandfather cherishes her greatly as well. apart from some children, it’s nice to see tia hang around with the younger generation and not act like a total adult in a young child’s body. she’s protective and kind towards those who treats her nicely and would shut anyone down if they dare to injure and trigger any of the other kids into action.
one of tia’s plans is for lombardy to side the second prince whose background isn’t as prestigious as the first prince. the second prince in tia’s memory is cruel and harsh but she never knew how dire young perez’s situation and how he survived under the hands of the empress. young perez is adorable. it’s so obvious that he likes tia from the start. i can’t wait for them to be adults.
overall, it’s a great webtoon! the historical fiction, time travel/reincarnation, royalty trope combination worked perfectly for this webtoon. i need more!
I have read the English translation as I was too into the manga and at last ended up losing patience and searching for the novel. This is such a beautiful story with the kind of narration which paints every scene right before my eyes. This is the first time I have felt that way for traslation stories (I have read a lot in the course of 4 years). Should say kudos to the author and the traslation team too. 😇😊
In many ways this entry delivers on reader expectations for the time travel-regression subgenre in a historical fantasy world. There are some despicable royals, an unfair class system, and hyperbolic emotional reactions. Talent is recruited; assertive face slapping occurs. There are fluffy family moments and side characters who simp over our leads. The tension is low (minus one terminal illness); luck values and coincidences are high. Some magical bloodline shenanigans eventually explain the looping lives. Not much comes from the Korean past life beyond some stolen marketing insights. It’s not a masterpiece, but a fine version if you like this kind of tale. Two bits of warning though. The first is that the prose is rather sparse, meaning the manhwa/webtoon version adds nuance with the artwork. Secondly, Tia remains an eight-year-old child for a long time and the time jumps tend to be three years or less. Thus, the romance and general plot move slowly. She doesn’t level up and discover new baddies, but faces the same foes throughout. Personally, I struggle with a child protagonist. There is no reason for the empress to target a child who can’t leave her estate. She can’t be smart enough to manipulate people and confront villains but also still want to play hide and seek. Then taking a step back, I’m not sure why she is so in love with the Lombardi family given her treatment and the lack of checks and balances by joining the Lombardi’s and Perez in marriage is bad for the country. So the HEA is true only on a character level. Summary: A Korean transmigrator becomes Firentia (Florentia) “Tia” Lombardi. After struggling as an illegitimate daughter of Gallahan—third son of the duke who dies days before her eleventh birthday; she works hard managing the finances of house Lombardi in her teens until she is kicked out by Viese and his wife Selal following her grandfather Lucal’s death. The reputation is ruined within two years prompting the imperials to destroy the family. Tia regresses after being hit by a carriage and decides that she will attempt to become the heir and befriend Second Prince Perez Brivachau Durelli to secure Lombardi’s future. She struggles against her gender, her mother’s commoner background, bullying cousins, a non-assertive father, and terrifying plans by Empress Lavini Angenas. Tia uses a family associate to become a business magnate and has to deal with romantic affections for the first time in three lifetimes.

A very intelligent female protagonist. She dies after watching her family bring brought to ruin by her incompetent brothers. Her talents were recognized too late by her grandfather.
She awakes with her memories and she is still a kid. Now with her memories, she is a prodigy who is determined to take leadership of her family. She has a lot to do, ensure the cure for the disease that kills her dad is found, save the 2nd prince from suffering, ensure talented individuals are brought to her side and allowed to grow sooner than they did in her past life.
It is fun to see how she manages to turn her dad into a more assertive person, push things in a favorable direction while acting like an innocent child. The constraints of being a girl, being a kid all weigh her down. She realized how it is easy to be complacent because of her memories.
The manhwa is ongoing but the art is great and I can recommend this manhwa.
It is a very good rebirth novel where the protagonist relives her life and gets a chance at taking revenge and improving the lives of many family members, friends, and the prince. She removes obstacles with her knowledge of future opportunities to increase wealth, block enemies and save lives.
There is an overall feeling of happiness throughout the novel with some sad moments, but, not many. There are obligatory action scenes that help pull the main couple closer together. A few twists near the end feel too little and not adding much to the storyline.
The main characters and most secondary characters are well developed with varied personalities and interests. It’s an easy read and worth reading at least once.
Perez and tia have my heart. I decided to read the novel after reading the manhua when i physically couldn’t wait for the next update anymore and honestly it didn’t disappoint the story line was amazing, the work of florentia and perez to both succeed in their goal was nothing shot of amazing and the romance OMG THE ROMANCE WAS AMAZING really discovering perez as this softie with tia was a nes side completely even if had always been softer and kinder around her anyway their relationship was really well written and expressed i loved it so much it was like watching my kids grow up. And then how everything turned out its just a perfect ending for a perfect story
This novel is a masterpiece. I got so many emotions reading this novel. It has special place in my heart, especially to see the struggle Tia did to protect her family. I’m crying when she worked hard to safe his father. 😭Then, she succeeded to build better life for everyone, not only Lombardy. She’s a genius and problem solver. She naturally knew when to be child and adult in good proportion when turning back to child. The unconditionally love from Perez to Tia really so sweet.. all the part in the novel got best proportion. This is gonna be my favorite novel over the time.

I love this story so much♡♡ Tia, Perez, My Babies♡♡ Tia such a brilliant main character, I love how her personality and how she take care around her. I'm so glad when the cure for the disease that kills her dad is found. It's break my heart when the carriage she riding swept away by a landslide and how Perez become so empty and unfocused.
The story so interesting and enjoyable, I will for sure re-read this again soon.
Finally got around to finishing it! Grateful for all the translators whom took on this project as it was a fun ride..
There were some awesome moments, with justice to boot, but there were some slower sections which I found tedious. Our protagonist’s second childhood, however, was super fun to read.
Out of the thousands manhwas i read, this is the only novel I decided to continue and finish cuz i was too damn curious how everything unraveled- such a fun and unique take on the isekai genre
i understand why everyone praises this one! the plotlines are good, the villains are created well, and we see how tia works to keep everyone by her side! once it often gets to the planning of things, i find that it's a trend that when it comes to building a fortune, the narrator tends to linger? or make it sound like a the protagonist is abetting an evil capitalistic society (the setting doesn't call for me, but if you want me to root for the main character please disguise it from view)
tia's ambition is showcased very well, one of my favorite protagonists so far! i like that much of it is getting on her family's side and we slowly build the romance from when they were EIGHT. ten years have passed now and we can see how much the devotion has grown
we can also see how the family all love and care for each other instead of tia being the sole recipient of their love like is common in other family-focused manhwas!
i love so much of the characters. all of them are intricately made. the empress is an incredible villain.
