When I went to prison willingly, I was just trying to do right by my club.

I was just trying to face the consequences of my evil ways -

repent for my sins and let everybody around me heal from the hurt I brought on the MC all these years.

When I got out early, I figured I would turn my life around once and for all, but that’s easier said than done.

I have a reputation to uphold and a club to rebuild.

I could go either way.

I could become the hero, or I could be the stuff nightmares are made of.

The she devil from my past is on one shoulder telling me to give in to my darkness.

And then there’s Ashley.

She’s light and love and all things good. She’s dedicated her life to taking care of people. Her father wants her nowhere near the MC, but for some reason, she’s drawn to me like a moth to a flame.

Both of us could get burned by my wickedness…

or maybe she just might be the only one who can save us both.

Kid is a steamy full length novel set in the Dead Ringers MC world. Though it can be read as a standalone, starting with Driller is the best way to enjoy the series. HEA guaranteed, but the path there is messy.

Freaking Loved This!!

Well, I have to say that I have fallen in love with this author even though this is my first book in the Dead Ringers MC series. Ms. Voss definitely knows how to bring the steam, darkness and suspense to this book and I loved every minute of it.

Kid is finally back after his stint in prison and some things have really changed…like Ashley who is ten years younger than Kid but has grown into a beautiful woman who is just about done with college earning her nursing degree. She is home taking care of her dad right now after he had been shot. Romeo is the ever-tough biker as well and has warned all brothers away from his daughter. I don’t think Kid got the message.

Kid has a lot on his hands right now after being released from prison and trying to get the MC back on track. His father was the club Prez but had to take him out because his father was underhanded and didn’t care for the men of the Dead Ringers. Now it was his job to find out who was draining the club’s funds as well as trying to get his personal life right.

So, sit back and enjoy this enticing MC romance that you want to read in one sitting. I can’t wait to see what next for the men of the Dead Ringers MC.

What a wild ride and emotional journey you will take with Kid: Dead Ringers MC#3 by Deja Voss. Kid is this larger than life sexy badass biker who was determined to save his club at all costs from the damage caused by his father. Kid decided to take the fall and go to prison for his sins and face the consequences for his actions which effected the club and his brothers. Out from prison, now he is and ready to own up to all the things he did in the past and turn his club around as President of the Dead Ringers MC, but when he comes into contact with Ashley Robayo nothing will be the same for both of them ever again. Ashley Robayo has returned home to take care of her father Romeo who is recuperating from his gunshot wound, as she could no longer stay at her apartment after her ex and best friend hooked up. Loved the banter between her and her father as he does not want his baby girl associating with the brothers from the MC but Ashley will soon discover that this is where she belongs with the MC family she grew up in. While checking up on Romeo who should Kid see but Ashley, all of the feelings he knows he should keep to himself come to the surface with one look from this sexy beautiful young woman. When she encounters Kid, she becomes flustered and feelings of want and desire for him come to the surface, can she make him see that she always wanted him and plans to show him she is no longer the young girl he knew? Their interaction will be the beginning of a torrid, fast sensual relationship that neither one will be able to prevent the inevitable from happening as these two have the same wild passion and determination to be together.
As they give into the explosive desire between them, Kid realizes resisting his feelings for Ashley is futile as he informs Ashley that she is his and his alone and he will inform Romeo that he loves his daughter. Will Romeo give his blessings once Kid tells him that he has claimed her? When Kid is notified that transfers are being paid out to an unknown name from the bar's account, he shuts it down until he can find out who is being paid off. This story had so much drama, suspense, angst , chaos , immense passion and heartache which will be directed towards Kid and Aubrey all due to his psychotic ex Riley and her husband. Riley is masterminding a diabolic plan in order to have Kid for herself and when Kid learns the truth of what she did he is devastated, but with Ashley's love and grit she will save her man, stand by his side as his equal and make him see he is worthy of having everything he thought he didn't deserve. This is one story you will not be able to put down with an ending that will have you on edge! Deja Voss, thank you for giving Kid and Ashley their own story, the love between these two was epic! Can't wait for the next book in this series about these charismatic men of the Dead Ringers MC!

I quite enjoyed reading this book it was fast paced, I was pulled in straight away I was in love with Kid calls Ashley, Lee Lee, he is ten years older than her, he is a bad boy but very loyal to the club. He went over to Ashley's to drop of food for her father (Romeo) after he was shot, Kid apologised for what her father went through he really likes Ashley alot always hard for her. Ashley is still going through school to train as a nurse and working at the bar to help pay for school, she has a crush on Kid and he has been released from prison. She came home to live after her best friend was sleeping and dating her boyfriend before her boyfriend and her split up. Kid had offered to help her get her clothes back from the apartment she lived in. Kid ended up meeting her at the apartment, he turns up at the best time to make her ex-boyfriend to keep his hands to himselves. It started getting more and more funny the bantering thats going on, it was hotter than hot, will they get together, will they get a happily ever after.

Ashley is home taking care of her father, an OG in the local MC, after a gunshot wound when her old crush, Kid, returns from prison to help revive the club. Kid steps in to rescue Ashley from a rough situation; her ex left her for her best friend...who also happened to be her roommate. I totally got riled up over that! But Kid stepped in and posed as her boyfriend, igniting feelings and a physical connection between them.

Kid is warned off of Ashley, everyone convinced she's 'better' than a life she'd find in the MC. She quickly becomes frustrated because Ashley knows this life, the MC life. It's where she feels at home having been with her father while growing up. I loved this about her character; Ashley steps up and claims her place at the MC, owning her space in the family.

I gave this book three stars because I was confused about several things. I couldn't figure out why Kid had spent time in prison, why Ashley's father was shot and how the MC had suddenly fallen apart only when Kid is getting out of jail. But the characters are super fun and the story is nice and steamy ;)

Ashley and Kid

So here is book three in this series. I am sure that if you read the first two you know about Kid. He was just released from prison and making his way to the club. He is dealing with what he had to do. He has reflected on things that happened. He seems to also have grown to the man he needs to be. So what happens when he sees a woman that he used to know when she was just a girl. This girls father is also a club member. So what could possibly going through his head. **rubbing my hands together** some really dirty thoughts. Now the question is will he waste his time or just go for it. Will he want to keep it a secret or just forthcoming. So much could happen. Oh wait it gets better. Some people still can't let go. It is sad and what happens is well deserved. Will Kid get his happily ever after? Gotta say that I loved this book.

I really enjoyed Kid and Ashley's story. Kid is the third installment of the Dead Ringers MC. It can be read as a standalone but will make a lot more sense if you've read the first two books, Driller and Ransom. I was really looking forward to Kid's story because I don't think he's as bad as he was made out to be. He's actually a real softy at heart (at least where Ashley is concerned.) I thought this one was a little mellower than the first two but there was still plenty of drama. I also think Kid's story wraps up some of the loose ends. I loved watching the love bloom between Kid and Ashley, reminded me of my own relationship. Kid was so devoted to her and I loved the quote about the flowers because my husband is exactly the same way. I thought the story was written well and interesting. It held my attention till the end and I would recommend it to any MC romance lover.

Deja Voss once again does not disappoint. Kid has been released from prison and now must deal with his dark past and set up his future as President of the Dead Ringers MC. Neither is an easy task. He needs to figure out who to trust, why the club isn't making any money and how to restore the club to where it should be. He is also drawn to a brother's daughter, but knows he should leave her alone because of his past. Both Kid and Ashley were fantastic characters. Kid's life has not been easy, but he faced his future head on and was determined to make changes in his choices. Ashley also knew what she wanted and didn't back down. The story was gritty and proved life is a series of gray areas of right and wrong.

Ashley sees Kid for the first time once he is released from prison. She is dumbstruck at how hot he is. Kid is affected by Ashley the same way. They put in a very feeble effort in staying away from each other. They are combustible and can't stay away from each other. They detonate in a very sexy way. In the background, Ashley is dealing with a two-timing ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend. Oh and she has to juggle a father that wants her to stay away from MC brothers. Kid is trying to rehabilitate his MC and stay out of an ex-girlfriends clutches. It all comes to an explosive end. Great read, several twists I didn't expect. I can't wait to see who is next in the Dead Ringers series.

Kid is a bad boy but is good were it counts. He took the wrap for the club and went to prison to protect them. He is out now and trying to right the wrongs his father did and make the club qhat he knows it can be. He needs a strong woman by his side and when he finally sees Ashley for what she is he is hooked. Now just to keep his ex from causing trouble. There is danger everywhere in this action packed story. Hope on and enjoy the read. It is a stand alone, but best read in order to get the full feeling.

Kid and Ashley have known each other for most of their lives. Kid is a Dead Ringer as is Ashley’s dad. With their ten year age difference Kid was always our of reach for Ashley. Kid doesn’t realize how grown up Ashley has become while he was in prison. He shouldn’t want her but he does. Ashley’s dad Romeo will kill Kid if he finds out about them. Plus Kid has enough girl problems with his crazy ex showing up. Ashley’s to good for him, she doesn’t need the drama and violence that comes with the club. Can they find a way to be together or will parents and ex girlfriends keep them apart for good!

4.5 stars. I really liked this one. Especially Ashley. In the beginning I was worried about her being a potential doormat, but she actually ended up being stronger than Kid.

This exchange (after Riley tells Kid all the good things she sees in Him) made me believe they’d actually have a HEA:

Kid-“That’s sweet, but one of these days you’re going to regret saying all that,” I say. One of these days I will take things too far. It’s just the kind of person I am. It’s in my blood. I know in my heart I’d never do anything to intentionally hurt her, but sometimes choices have to be made.

“I’d say the solution to that is fairly simple,” she says with a shrug. “Grow up, Kid.”

What a complete let down. I was so excited for this book and Kid’s story. This just felt like a rushed mess and was insta-love on warp speed. I don’t think that they even had a full conversation before they were completely together and in love. There wasn’t any build up or actual romance with them falling in love….they basically had a double date family dinner, messed around, and bam in love and together forever. I’m willing to suspend belief for the sake of the fantasy - but you’ve got to actually write more to the romance than a sex scene or two. This just read like a mess that was slapped together quickly and poorly.

Kid's out of prison and trying to put the club back together after his father, who is dead now, turned it upside down and not in a good way. Romeo is still reccuperating still from his gun shot wound. He's funny in his own way when it comes to his daughter, Ashley. Kid's ex, Riley, is a wacko. There's plenty of danger, heat and a HEA. This series is great !!!
Loved all the characters in the book especially the time in the restaurant with her father and his mum.
Ashley is an A grade student for her nursing degree. She is getting over a heartbreak from her boyfriends betrayal.
Kid has just got out of prison and is trying to get the MC back in order after his father had more or less ruined it.
Loved this book and can’t wait for more.

A fun, fast paced, romantic read. Ashley is staying with her Dad to avoid her best friend's new man, her ex-boyfriend. Kid is fresh out of jail and working on getting his club back on track. They've know each other for years but Ashley has always been shielded from the worst of the club.

They try to make it work with her overprotective father, the club drama, and a crazy ex-girlfriend driving them apart.

This is a stand alone novel in the Dead Ringers MC series

Loved this story. Kid is everything Ashley thought she didn’t want until she figures out he is exactly what she does want. There is some ex drama, some pretty serious. I like Romeo—he deals with Ashley and Kid and their relationship. Some really hot times and some very sad times. When the truth about Mabel comes out, my heart just absolutely broke. This is the first book I read of this series, but I had no issues following the story and I want more!

This book and this series are a must read! Ashley and Kid's story is dirty at times but a great read and some parts of it really surprised me! I would recommend starting with "Driller" and to read the books in order. You don't have to but I believe it would make alot more sense to you! Great author, series and book! There's not a lot Kid wouldn't do for his MC. To make up for his father's mistakes he's even gone to prison to keep them safe. The one thing he can't do, stay away from Ashley. Even though her father is one of his MC brothers and he knows better, their attraction is red hot. Ashley will do whatever it takes to get Kid to finally notice her and acknowledge that they belong together.

I enjoyed Ashley and Kids story! This may be a quickie but it tells a full story. It is fast paced and visual with world building continued through. Snuggle up with Kid and see what it is going to take for him and Ashley to work through the drama and figure it out? Will they? Do not miss this series! Deja is a force and she delivers a stunning read! I repeat DO NOT MISS THIS! You want her to be reading her!

Sometimes things are meant to be...no matter how long it takes to get there

Kid is the third book in the Dead Ringers MC series and is the story of Ashley and Kid. So far this is my favorite book of the series as I really liked both Ashley and Kid and how they are together. The story-line was engaging and entertaining beside the white hot lightening chemistry between these two.

Warning this book does have a couple of triggers. Although, they are touched on very briefly. With that being said Kid's ex-girlfriend is batshit CRAZY!!!! you can become a better version of yourself if you push away the people that are toxic in your life. I cannot wait until the next book in this series comes out.

Kid has never had things easy in life and he's paid the price for it, but he knew change needed to happen so he set in motion a domino effect to get the Dead Ringers MC back to the club they deserve to be. Correcting all the wrongs from the elders before him, Kid sets out to set things straight and in the meantime Ashley is there to teach him that they both deserve to be true to themselves and to be loved.

Kid is out of prison and determined to turn things around though that's easier said than done when his past and future collide in his present. Ashley's father warns her off the MC but shes drawn to Kid. Will she be his savior? Well written great addition to the series with action suspense desires and more!

Kid is a great fast paced, funny, age gap read. And I do love an age gap read. It made me laugh and sigh in all the right places. Ashley Robayo, aka Lee Lee has had a crush on Kid, aka Brad Fischer for a long while. Now that she's all grown up it seems he's gonna have his hands quite full. Or maybe they'll be just what the other needs to get themselves grounded.

This is a great series! I love Kid and how he is extremely loyal and will do whatever it takes to right the wrongs of his father. Then bring in Ashley, a girl he knew when she was younger and another club members daughter. Those two interactions I just absolutely loved it. I was laughing.

Kid

I honestly didn't want to love Kid. From his portrayal in the other books, I just couldn't see his redemption . But I was so wrong. I love him. I love his strength and commitment and his love for Ashley and his Club. I'm looking forward to the rest of this series. Thank you for your stories.

Second chance

Kid gets a second chance with his life after everything he went thru with his dad and the club. After a time in prison he has a new lease on life. With Ashlies help and love he can do it all. They can do it together. This series is becoming one of my favorites and can't wait for Deckers story. On to the next adventure!😉💙💚

Kid and Ashley's story scores a 10 out of 10. There's many twists to their story that shocked the heck out of me and I caught myself mumbling did that really just happen. I can't wait till 2/3/2022 to read Decker and Darla's story.
