Who can I trust? The City is thrown into chaos. The Dragonkeep isn’t far behind.
When my mates and I took the Dragonkeep and I claimed my throne, it set into motion a chain of events I could never have foreseen. And the Void dragon asking for my protection says he knows my long-lost family.
The mysterious new arrival tells me I’m half-Fae, half-dragon, and everyone’s enemy. I have to learn magic fast. If Ever is telling the truth—and that’s a big if, according to my other mates—all hell is about to crash down around my ears. There’s no choice but to leave the castle and venture into a new and dangerous world to find the truth about who I am.
Nobody can teach me how to control my power. There’s never been someone like me before. But with every passing day, my magic grows stronger… until it threatens to blow up in my face and destroy the fragile resistance we’re building. Not to mention my other mates can’t stand Ever, and I’m not convinced they won’t sink their teeth into him the moment my back’s turned.
There’s no rest for the wicked… and a lot of people think that’s me, just for being born. I can’t help who I am. But I can learn to defend myself, my dragons, and my world. It’s time to ride the perilous breezes of fate.
Gale Force is the second book in The Fae Dragon’s Harem, a paranormal reverse harem FMMMMM series containing MM scenes. Book 3, Heart’s Locke, is due to be released on March 1st, 2021. So scroll up and start reading now, and dive into a whole new world of magic, danger, and passion… and more hot dragon shifters than can ride one dragon. But they’ll sure as hell try.
This book like the first is filled with action following many twists and some steamy moments. We get to see Lissa and Gale more in this book and the pair form a closer bond after going to the wilds together. While the pair try to find help for Lissa, her guys she left behind try to cope with Ever being in the castle. Things get crazy twisty and we see them all come together in a wicked battle. Tobthen end the book with a cliffhanger ending after a great scene with Lissa, Gale ,Clay and Locke. Really worth picking up
Lissa, Queen of the Dragons, half-Fae, half-dragon, and everyone’s enemy, has to learn magic quickly. Because she is unique, no one can teach her how to control her power. The Void dragon, Evermore, knee bent in front of the Dragonkeep gate and asking for her protection, claims he knows the members of her family. But her four mates, Drake, Locke, Clay, and Gale, don’t like or trust him and she is afraid they will actually harm him if they get the chance. But Lissa’s instincts are telling her that whether he brings good news or bad, he belongs here. He promises he won’t bring trouble, but it is already on the way. Anger shuddered through him at being expelled from the city and, in that moment, Lissa knew he was the final member of her harem! That also explained why there were 5 gemstones in the throne but only four men in her life… until today. And suddenly Locke who is above them in the tower snarls, shifts, and launches himself at Ever, joined in the murderous attack by Clay, Gale, and Drake. Ever shifts into a black dragon but doesn’t attack; he remains defensive. All four of her mates’ elements—fire, water, air, and earth—are equally important, but the throne itself tells her that without Ever, they are not complete. Her power depends on stopping this now. She is successful, but they ask Ever to sleep in the stable in the courtyard and he will answer all of her questions in the morning.
They are battling to save all of dragonkind from extinction, so Lissa really needs to figure this out soon! If she can’t become who she was born to be, all of them will die. And with Ever now here, will she find the answers she needs?
I enjoy the consistent personality of the main female character (MFC), and she actually thinks and reasons things out. Cool action / battles. Surprisingly good world building without too much being thrown at you. Also, good writing (like discovering things rather than telling) even if I caught a few things, nitpicks really. I like that the characters get to have a few days together giving them a tiny bit of time for chemistry to build. Which leads me to ... I dislike the insta-everything: lust & “love”, vows, eggs, allies, powers, training, enemies immediately finding you.
There is a MM magic scene that was hotter than the later FMMM sex scene. Sad smh. This genre in general, but this book in particular, suffers from lack of description and length of the sex scenes - you know, the foreplay, the part that gets our minds and therefore our bodies revved up.
What killed the enjoyment for me were the logical mistakes. Gale acquires intel that Lissa needs but does he tell her or even hint at it? Nope. The keeper of time couldn’t stretch time within her own domain to give the MFC time to really train? Apparently not. Then a tiny bit of battle practice is all the MFC needs to take on a group of bad guys? Really?
I’ll read the next book in the series, but if it’s no better than this, then I will DNF the series.
I am really enjoying this series. Lissa, half far, half dragon queen to the dragons has 5 mates that are helping her find herself and her powers. They must beat the evil but now the City King has ordered Lissa;s sister Annabelle to be thrown in prison on top of everything else they are facing. Left on a cliff hanger. I can't wait for book 3! This book contains detailed sex scenes with FMMMM - they all share in loving each other...so if that's not your cup of tea, you may want to skip this series. But the story is very entertaining and sexy.

I enjoyed this as much as book 1, a great continuation to the series, fantastic worldbuilding throughout, brilliantly further developed characters with amazing growth in chemistry and a gripping magical steamy storyline. A story filled with more action, adventure, suspense, mystery, sexy scenes, drama, romance, love and another fantastic ending making me wish for book 3. We still have hot alpha Dragon shifters and a kickass female lead character, very much looking forward to reading more, especially the rest of this series.

This sequel keeps you on your toes with a fast pace and at last some answers! Lissa has quite a transformation to make from average human to Dragon Queen which really starts to sink in during her newest mission. Between new characters, more history being revealed, and the forever growing task ahead I can’t wait to see what new developments are in store for us!

I loved the first book, and this one is even better. I love the world, the heroine, and all her mates. I love watching Lissa grow into her powers and I love the interactions between her mates and between her and her mates. The action is fast-paced and intriguing with hot sexy scenes. There is danger, drama, and excitement. There is a cliff-hanger ending, but book three is not far away, so it's okay.

Gale Force: A Reverse Harem Paranormal Fantasy Romance by Melody Novak is an awesome story that I have loved reading very much. This is book number two in this awesome series that I am so hooked on and can not wait to read the rest. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about reverse harem, fantasy and paranormal romance.

I like the story premise for these and the MMMF sex is good, too. I have some issues with feeling the storyline is a bit jerky. Sometimes it moves a tad fast and it also seems to change rather too abruptly. I did not "feel" the relationship developing between Gale and Lissa. Perhaps it was due to interruptions on my end, but this really felt too manufactured to me. Hope I enjoy the next one more.
I enjoyed this book. It had dif POV’s, plot holes were tying up from the previous book and lots of intrigue. I appreciated that climax of the book was more or less at the 70% part of the book instead of right at the end, but still leaves the readers wanting more now at the very end. I can’t wait to read the next one.
Reading about Lissa making her way in a new land is really good. She has good times and bad times. She is working hard to make sure that everything and everyone makes it to a safe and happy place.
I liked the first book in this series. I love this book. The storyline is captivating and keeps you on your toes. The spice level is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. Gale’s struggles and Bliss learning more about who she is great character building.
Dragons, fairies, oh my! Sexy dragon shifters who adore and treat their mate like a queen. Sign me up. Lots of sexy times but also a well written plot.
This book and series has been unexpectedly great. I haven't been able to out it down. It's definitely fast paced but I love the characters and story line.
Rating the entire series. Solid series - liked the story from earth to the new realm. Unique take on dragons and magic. Each individual story was solid and it wrapped it up nicely.
Girl is a Mary Sue. Overpowered and good at everything. Reverse harem aspect is good, but it lost a star due to the insta egg thing. Not a fan of the pregnancy trope at all.
