New to me author. This is a short mm contemporary novella. Set in America it’s a second chance story. Main characters are Kelly, now a Doctor and Gunnar a small business owner. Seven years ago Gunnar broke up with Kelly via text. This story is them finding each other again with some help from old hockey teammates.

Lex Valentine is a new author that I discovered during the Winter Giveaway freebie in January. I finally read The Return of Light which had been queuing on my TBR list for a while and I really enjoyed it. It's a nice, mild-angst, second chance romance for two men that broke up during their last year of college. Kelly and Gunner meet each other again due to a friend's meddling ways and both men finally have a chance to talk about the events of the past and mend old wounds. Great second chance romance story that I really enjoyed :) I'll have to check out the rest of the author's backlist.

Liked this short, sexy mm holiday 2nd chance romance. Gunnar broke up with Kelly via text after spending the summer with him, and they spent 7 yrs apart. Now their old hockey teammates have thrown them back together to try and get them to realize that they never stopped loving each other and they need to be together. The ending was nice.

Second time

Wonderful story about second chance at love. Kelly and Gunner was very amazing couple who fought through hard times. Once they reconnected they realized that they were much better together than apart.

Winter Wonderland download. Former college hockey player/lovers reconnect 7 years after a texting breakup. The novella fills out a plot set in Denver as the reader becomes acquainted with Gunnar and Kelly. These major characters have their soule bared as the story reunites them over the year end holidays. Passion and ardor run rampant. Tears and chuckles accompanied the read.
