The Inner Secrets of Worship

Allah, the Most High said: “I have only created the Jinn and mankind for My worship” [Qur’an (51):56]. In Islam worship is the right of Allah, the Most High. Worship is only directed to Him alone, without association or reverence to anything or anybody else. It is the right of Allah alone that His servants fulfil the acts of worship that Islam has prescribed. Worship is everything that Allah loves, including actions, deeds and speech. loved it… this is an amazing book for someone who doesn’t comprehend knowledge as fast, this book is straight up, provides sources. after i read the section about focusing during salah i remained more focus. when i read about night prayers i did more night prayers. subhanallah. may الله reward this imam.

studied this in a weekly class and found many gems regarding “regular” Islamic practice that gave new light and meaning to each action. great starting place and easy read for even the layman or beginning student. not a heavily scientific read, but a definite heart softener and filled with reminders.

I loved how practical the tips were, it clearly wasn’t for a scholarly audience so it was nice and lovely as most tazkiyah books are.
