My favorite part was when they introduced sediment into the oceanography. It was monumental and kind of overshadowed the climax (beaches and shoreline; I still enjoyed learning about different attempts to combat erosion) but I think it really goes to show that there are multiple riveting moments in this book to keep you educated and entertained. I was a bit disappointed when I got to the part where they finally revealed the mystery about fish and other sea creatures because I expected it to be solved way earlier. Great read! Lots of things to take notes about!
