Very cute story, with some sadness though. I had my 8-year-old read it to me first, which made it even better. I loved the character Salju in the novels Black Spire and Crash of Fate. It was great to see young Salju, and to learn that her father is a frog of some sort. And that Bina is some type of sentient stalk of celery, or something. The art is fantastic and adorable. I loved it.
A strait up feal good story that's just heart warming. It's about a girl and her pet growing up together and it's just perfect.
Involves a good amount of name dropping as it's meant to show off the characters of Black Spire Outpost, but this shouldn't hinder from the readability for new readers.
Definitely a funny moment (from my perspective) was when they nonchalantly mentioned the local mob bosse's pet cat.
This is a sweet little story tied to Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland and Disney world. IT is wonderful how the books can create lore that reflects to the park.
