Really fun and pretty manhwa, binged it all in a couple days and wish there was more! Love the characters, setting, power structure and art. It would make a super fun anime. Hopefully it continues to be updated fairly regularly 🤞
I love that it's like ORV but with a female lead. It also has a romance subplot that adds more dimension to the story. It's a really thrilling read, and I can't wait to read more.
I loved this Manhwa, Son Mo-ah and Seo Ji-han had such a fun dynamic throughout the whole story and the love that blossomed between them despite them fighting deadly creatures from Dungeons (other worlds) trying to survive Ionikel's attempt to consume Earth. The way Mo-ah went from a plain office girlie to bigshot King of the Fleas/Humans was a wild ride and I was so totally here for it. She really girl-bossed her way through saving the world with her small clique of friends and allies.
Amazing manhwa, one of the most developed ones involving a female main character.
The romance is good. It's slow burn and it doesn't feel forced -- it happens naturally as it goes on. The main character is an ok badass. She's nicer than she is fierce but its better that she is that way.
The ending was underwhelming. I felt like the entire plot fell apart too fast and it was very rushed near the end. I enjoyed the middle part where she was trying to figure out things and get stronger. I feel like this could've easily been a 150+ chapter series where we fully explored the global dungeons and meet tons of new characters. A lot of the villains started doing things just for plot reasons? They also completely ignored the entire disaster "world eater". The end disappointed me. The middle was very entertaining though, I think the media backlash was realistic and so was the family aspect of it.
Overall good read, 5 stars because we need to boost the popularity of female mcs in system manhwa.
I came across this story after asking for recommendations similar to Solo Leveling, but with a female main character. I was told to give this one a shot, and to my surprise, I ended up loving it. That really caught me off guard, because stories like this usually have at least one thing that drives me up the wall. Whether it’s pointless love triangles, unnecessary harems, damsel-like female leads, love interests getting fridged, male leads being insufferable jerks, or just bland, tropey characters. There’s always something that ruins the experience for me… but not this time.
It’s a fun, entertaining read from start to finish. The story is complete, which is already a bonus, but more than that, it brings a fresh perspective to the dungeon-crawling, leveling-up genre by centering it around a female lead. In a genre saturated with male protagonists, it’s genuinely nice to see a different perspective for once.
The characters also aren’t just there to fill roles. They each have distinct, memorable personalities that make them stand out and feel real. At the center of it all is Moa Son, a protagonist who’s refreshingly grounded. She’s a genuinely decent, down-to-earth person—relatable, human, and surprisingly normal.
What makes Moa so likable is her approach to every situation after becoming an awakened hunter. She doesn’t start out as incredibly powerful, nor does she need to turn cold or ruthless to prove her strength. Instead, she strives to find solutions that benefit everyone while staying true to herself, which makes her character feel both grounded and authentic. This becomes even more compelling when contrasted with the morally ambiguous and often self-serving behavior of the other characters, such as the top hunters and those in positions of power.
One of my favorite aspects is the relationship between Moa and Jihan. Their dynamic is cute, genuine, and emotionally open, which makes it easy to root for them as a couple. Jihan’s respectful and supportive nature is such a welcome change from the countless cold, brooding male leads out there. It’s really nice to see a love interest who isn’t toxic or overbearing, but instead treats the main character as an equal.
It's nice to get a FL in this kind of genre- both cultivation and dungeon fighting- if anyone knows a similar Manhwa/manga let me know!
Storyline: One day, Son Mo-Ah, along with her colleagues ended up falling into a dungeon and she somehow gains the skill to became a gathering hunter. After escaping narrowly with her life she is determined to just live normally.
However, after getting caught in yet another dungeon she is rescued by skilled fighter Seo Ji-Han- who ended up dying after saving her from the dungeon boss-but with the skill to collect anything Son Mo-Ah ends up with the soul of the Number One Ranker!
Not only does she have his soul in her inventory, but she can now see and speak to the ghost of Seo Ji-Han. While looking for a way to help him move on he ask her a favor:
“Promise me that you will kill all the dungeons bosses in this world, as many as you can.”
This had everything that I wanted in a manhwa: pretty art, a great plot, excellent pacing, multifaceted leads, a fluffy romance, and hilarious side characters!
In addition to all that, this manhwa exceeded my expectations by ALSO having women supporting women, the duality of a cute househusband who turns into an overprotective warmongering husband at the drop of a hat, and just Son Mo-ah in general. I loved her growth and how she wasn't a saint but she still stayed true to herself even as she accidentally became a bigshot.
Another side note, but I loved how the artist portrayed her throughout the series. Like, YES, please give me a female lead who likes to dress comfy and cozy! I loved seeing the contrast between Son Mo-ah's comfy baggy fits compared to all of her male companions who are so buff that THEIR clothes are tight.
Finally a dungeon-hunter manhwa with an enjoyable romance!
Sun Mo-Ah was everything I wanted in a female MC—clever, knows what she wants, unafraid to go for it. She isn't instantly OP, nor does she become power-hungry or love-focused... I can’t believe the bar is that low.
Even the ML is a breath of fresh air. Seo Jihan is hilarious, and as the first-ranker, ridiculously powerful. Yet, of course, the story begins with his defeat, and Mo-Ah stealing his soul stone.
I really wasn’t expecting that, even though it is the title. I expected something where she gets posessed by the first ranker, but nope. She does literally just "possess" his stone, and his spirit ends up helping him.
It's a cute read. Nothing mind blowing, but highly enjoyable!
This is a really solid story in the OP-MC dungeon/hunter genre. The MC is relatable and smart, and the secondary characters are interesting. It's got a really sweet romance subplot that doesn't overpower the main story, but just hums along nicely in the background. There's a lot of character growth and the world-building is thorough and well-explained without beating you over the head with it.
If anything, I'd say the story is just a touch too smooth, and the MC is a little too perfect. Everything always works out without too much fuss, and the MC is just so nice all the time! It would have been nice to see her have a few more character flaws.
Overall, this was a fun, easy read that fulfilled all of my expectations and had a very satisfying ending.
SERIOUSLY deserves the 5/5… female mc + solid supporting cast + the perfect amount of subtle romance with more focus on the main action plot. surely the best dungeon manhwa i’ve read. you can tell the author knew the plot the whole time with the story’s excellent continuity and purpose. a must read.
Es la primera vez que leo un manhwa de acción con protagonista femenina JAJAJAJAJ estaba súper op realmente y aunque hubo muchas cosas muy cuestionables fue entretenido de leer aunque me gustaría que hubiera habido un poco más de romance 😭
TROPPO CARINO MAMMA MIAAAA!
