Thought because this was for Advent that most of the stories would have some religious tie in.
Instead, they're pretty secular.
My favorite was story #12. In a classroom, the teacher brings in an empty manger and the kids discuss each day what good things others did. The ones who did good things get to add a fistful of hay to the manger. The children learn to see kind things and good choices by their classmates, even Toby who is kind of a bully. The positive reinforcement works.
Instead, they're pretty secular.

“Crăciunul e o mare sărbătoare. Dar nu poți să miroși sau să guști Crăciunul. Trebuie să-l simți în adâncul inimii. Pentru că e ceva sfânt. Oricine din lumea asta îl poate simți, ca și cum cineva ar fi aprins o lumină în adâncul nostru.”
Dacă ar avea Crăciunul miros și gust, care credeți că ar fi? 🎄
O alta carte magica, numai buna de citit înainte de Craciun, începând cu 01 decembrie si pâna la ajunul Craciunului 🥰.
Povesti care mai de care mai fermecatoare, însotite de ilustratii minunate, povesti care aduc bucurie-n suflet si zambete pe chip, dar sunt si intelepte, la final reusind sa sustragi esenta lor.
N-am reusit s-o citesc înainte de Craciun, cum mi-am dorit, ci în a treia zi de Craciun, dar n-a fost deloc tarziu si m-am încarcat cu frumos parcurg fiecare poveste in parte, mai ales ca am avut ocazia de a-i urmari si pe Oamenii Mici, batranul pitic al padurii, Moise, si ai sai nepoti gemeni, Vali si Vilia. ☺️.
Va recomand cu caldura volumul, are povesti de toate felurile, despre iubire, bunatate, traditie, daruire, familie si magia sarbatorilor! 🥰
Îl gasiti la @bufnitanemi si este cadoul perfect pentru cei mici, numai bun de citit în apropierea sarbatorilor! ❤️

24 de povești de citit înainte de Crăciun"
O carte cu povești pentru Copilașii mai maricei (de la 3-4 anișori, si mai mult) si părinții săi 📖
Fiecare povestioară are ascuns un sens bine definit: păstrăm natura, iubim familia, ajutam aproapele, ajutăm nevoiași,...🥰
Sunt povesti scurte 3-4 pagini cu desene colorate, usor de citit si de memorizat subiectul.
Unele sunt despre copilași, altele despre animăluțe.
Nu toate povestile le poti citi unui copilaș de 3-4 anișori, unele sunt pentru varsta mai mare

This book was... okay.
I can tell the author was trying to include valuable lessons for kids in the stories. There were a few words/choice of phrases that I was surprised to find in a book like this.
I found it odd that the book focused so much on twins/multiple sets of children.
I don't really understand how the story was tied to the 12 days of Christmas.
It was just strange. I would not recommend this story.

This is the second year we have read this book. The stories are fun and usually have a good message. The illustrations ate beautiful and the the stories are short and sweet.
