Alma struggles to integrate into her captor's society while Michael and Alexia are desperate to find a way to escape the prisoner of war camp to find her. But Alma isn't sure she wants to leave her new home, and she's not sure why. Everything seems nicer on Bayama, and she begins to see Earth through new eyes. Are Bayamans really the bad guys she was taught to believe? Maybe it would be best to not fight her integration, to accept her new family and new home. Except there's an insistent echo in her thoughts that keeps interrupting the process. With Arden Greave's betrayal, Earth is sure to fall. Alma will need to do some hacking to delve into the secrets about Earth and Bayama, but it's not easy when you feel an intrusion in your memories, something that reforms them into a new perspective.
