A Mountain Man Curvy Woman Romance
Reed
I don’t do lying.
Too many lies in past relationships have left me jaded.
It’s why I’ve been single this long.
But when I meet Lindsay, I have a hard time remembering why I’ve sworn off women.
It doesn’t matter that she’s a guest.
Or that she’s not staying.
Because once we’re stranded together—alone—all bets are off.
I have to make her mine.
But when I find out she’s not been honest about the reason she’s in Alaska, I don’t know how to feel.
Lindsay
Before my brother was killed in action, I made him a promise.
If anything ever happened to him, I was to spread some of his ashes on a glacier.
It’s been tricky making the arrangements, considering I’ve never been to Alaska before.
I can’t tell my family what I’m doing, because they would forbid it.
So I book a private hiking tour and sneak away for a quick weekend hoping not to arise suspicion.
Hopefully no one will ever know about my secret—and technically illegal—mission.
Not even my personal, incredibly hot hiking guide.
When the weather rolls in and strands us, I’m not even sad about it.
But what I thought was a little bit of fun quickly turns into something more.
I might just be falling in love with Reed Harrison, and I have no idea what to do about it.

She has a twinkle in her eye that drives him wild!
Reed is the sixth and final book in the Harrison Brothers in Alaska series. This story is about Reed Harrison and Lindsay Carmichael.
Lindsay is a third grade teacher who has come to Alaska for her brother. Well specifically to complete her brother's last wish. So eight months after he was killed overseas serving in the Army Lindsay finds herself arriving at the Mountain View Lodge and being greeted by a Bullwinkle munching on some ornamental shrubs outside the front door. After getting a few pictures Bullwinkle decides to turn his attention on her and that is not exactly a good thing to happen. But as she starts backing up she bumps into a solid wall that turns out to be a very large mountain man. Luckily for them Bullwinkle decides to saunter back into the woods and the man turns out to be a grouchy bear, aka Reed Harrison. He is also the Reed Harrison who Lindsay has hired to take her on a private guided hike to a local glacier. This is the place that her outdoor and Alaska loving brother wanted part of his ashes to be scattered. Lindsay has to keep her reason for being there a secret as it is illegal to scatter ashes and she is afraid her Reed will stop her if he finds out.
Reed is the last of the six Harrison brothers who has not been felled by love. So for the past year all his brother's and their wives have been trying to play matchmaker, with some interesting results. The latest turns out to be a curvy dark haired lodge guest who will not stop talking and asking questions. Reed is immediately attracted to her but he is so anti relationship, marriage and family that he pushes everyone away. Reed has found that all women lie, at least the ones that he has gotten involved with in the past. So now it is just easier to stay away from them all. Easier said than done when the new guest turns out to be the woman that he has to guide on a hike tomorrow.
The next day the trip starts out interesting as Lindsay is afraid to fly in small planes and that is how they are getting to the trail head. With his brother Lincoln flying Reed is forced to sit in the back of the plane with Lindsay to try and keep her calm which starts to amp up his resolve to stay away from her. But that resolve really dissolves when they are on the trail and the only way he can get Lindsay to be quiet is to kiss the ever loving heck out of her. Ooopsie!!! This hike is going to be even more fun and satisfying than either of them expected, especially when a storm rolls in and they have to spend a night together in a small cabin by the glacier. I swear these two are hotter than climate change as they are melting that glacier. The next morning Reed happens to discover the reason why Lindsay is there and he once again closes his heart, as to him she lied. But luckily for him his brothers all step in and drag him to her door to set things right away.
This is an awesome last book in this series. It is well written, very entertaining, has a story-line that flows well and has some drama, heartache, lose, insta-lust, romance, a lot of steamy hot and very dirty sexy passion and of course love. Plus add in a couple great characters that are lovable and fit together really well, even when you want to kick Reed's butt and luckily his brothers do that for the readers. A wonderful final book to a series that has been a lot of fun to read.

Let fate have a stab at this one
This book is about Lindsay and Reed. Lindsay was a third-grade teacher visiting Alaska for the first time. A moose whom she nicknamed Bullwinkle, met her at the entrance to Mountain View Lodge. She was both excited and scared – wanting to get a photo of it, and not wanting it to eat her up! A stranger came up from behind, warning her to be still so as to not spook the moose. When the animal finally moved off into the woods, she turned around to see her saviour, and was rendered speechless with his incredibly good looks.
Lindsay’s first impression was hilarious and arousing, thinking he belonged on the cover of Alaska Hunks – if it were a real magazine. When he introduces himself as Reed Harrison, she’s even more tongue-tied, realising that he’s the personal guide taking her out on the glacier hike. And when Lindsay finally gives him her name (after he’d given her a funny nickname too – Miss Sunshine), he too is surprised, realising that she’s the client he’s been booked to take on the guided hike. He was adamant he didn’t want to do it, but his sister-in-law (and relentless matchmaker) Keira locked it all in anyway.
Reed is the only Harrison brother not married. He’s single and was planning to stay that way indefinitely. His experience had taught him that women were too much trouble, and he hadn’t met one who didn’t lie straight to his face. Perhaps Lindsay would prove him wrong. She was determined to go to this particular glacier, as per her late brother Brandon’s secret wish. But she wouldn’t disclose that to Reed for a couple of different reasons. This only added to the mystery of why this glacier seemingly meant so much to her.
Lindsay stayed in touch with her best friend and teaching colleague Violet while she was away too. She was very encouraging and helped push Lindsay out of her comfort zone. This lead to some funny and steamy moments, where she was able to walk a bit more on the wild side, and flirted in a humorous way. Some of the dialogue was hilarious! And the way he got her to stop talking so much… swoon!
It was a quick, fun, emotional and passionate read. However, I thought it ended too early for me. I wanted to know if there WAS a connection between Reed and Brandon, or at least had them discuss her brother’s wishes with him. I still give this four and a half glacial stars, and look forward to whatever is coming up next from this wonderful author!

Reed is the last of the Harrison Brothers who has not fallen in love. He is good with that. He doesn’t want to have heartbreak and he feels that is what happens when your heart gets involved. Lindsay is coming to Alaska to do one finally request for her brother - scatter his ashes on a particular glacier (which is forbidden). She has hired Reed to led her to the glacier. Reed is instantly attracted to Miss Sunshine and is trying to keep away from her as much as possible. But, then she is scared of small planes and he helps her thru that and then they start the hike. Lindsay is a talker and Reed finally has to shut her up someway and he kisses her. Now the fun begins. Reed is fighting hard not to succumb to Lindsay’s charms. She might not be fighting fair. This couple really was so real, entertaining, combustible. You really could feel this couple come alive on the pages of the story. The other thing is all the other Harrison Brothers found love and they were working behind the scenes to make Reed get his chance. Reed is stubborn. It was simply a great story with great spunky, feisty characters. This had everything you need for a great story - drama, spice, heat, lust, passion and the ultimate goal love. Super great series!

Reed is a no-nonsense man. He is over the women he used to date for lying right to his face. So he is a confirmed Batchelor. His brothers and their wives will not stand for this so they keep trying to set him up. Nothing like people playing matchmaker for you when you want to be left alone. Reed is left in charge of the front desk and also set up to guide a woman on a hike to a glacier. Reed tried to get out of it but that was not happening. Lindsey shows up for her long weekend at the lodge to take care of her brother's dying wish. Lindsey does not tell the whole reason she is there just that he wanted her to go see this particular glacier. So she and Reed set off on that adventure. All the while Reed starts to get feelings he does not want to have for a female let alone Lindsey that will be leaving in a few days. Lindsey also gets feelings as soon as she sees Reed. But she does not want to leave her teaching position or kids. Do these two let their feelings evolve into something more than just a business relationship? Does Reed find out the whole reason Lindsey is there?

Reed is the sixth book in Kali Hart’s Harrison Brothers in Alaska series. In this book, Ms. Hart introduces readers to Lindsey Carmichael and Reed Harrison. Each of them is emotionally wounded. Lindsey stills suffers from grief over the death of her brother. She is on a quest to scatter his ashes on a particular Alaskan glacier. She faces a dilemma because she is law abiding and such an act would break the law. But her promise to her dying brother cannot be ignored. Reed is emotionally wounded from a previous relationship. He abhors lying women and feels they cannot be trusted. Destiny brings these two together. Sparks fly. What happens when Reed finds out what Lindsey did? Will their mutual attraction and emotions survive this breach? You must read to discover their plight.
Ms. Hart penned a sweet romance. She created strong characters and through this plot we see the challenges they face and how the manage them. The dialog and banter are well done and makes the reader chuckle. I enjoyed the dual point of view as it allowed readers to understand each character. I liked the descriptive outdoor scenes. They transport readers into each scene. This is a delightful book to read on a lazy weekend. Get yourself a copy, sit back, get comfy and enjoy.

Lindsay was asked by her brother, killed in the military, to spread some of his ashes at his favorite glacier near where he was stationed at one time. Hiding his ashes in her backpack, she hikes with Reed, her guide and one of a group of brothers that run the Mountain View Lodge. They are secretly lusting for each other and when a storm hits and they can not make it back, things skyrocket, both good and bad. The characters are terrific and I love their backstories. A teacher is just what the area needs, too. The brothers are great support and love to pick on the remaining bachelor. Loved how the two reunite and the understanding of what caused the pain between them was fixed. Her friend was a perfect source of support throughout the story as well. Loved the spunk and sass... and talkativeness of Lindsay. She lets it all out.

Kali Hart has fast become a must read author for me and this book only cements that decision. Ms. Hart has a way of drawing you into her books from the 1st page to the last with her amazing storytelling and world building, and that's not always east with a short story. Her characters are so delightful that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Reed and Lindsay's story is about not being to trust because of past hurts but finding out that once you find your soul mate that all bets are off. This book has everything that you could want; comedy, drama, joy and hot romance. This is the last book in the Harrison Brothers in Alaska series and a fantastic gem of a book, you will be sorry if you miss it. Also take the time to read the other books in this series, I know that you will love them as well.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Reed is the sixth book in the ‘’Harrison brother’s in Alaska’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Lindsay is in Alaska to perform her late brothers last wish. When she arrives in Alaska she meets Reed. Reed is attracted to Lindsay but he doesn’t want love. Will Reed get his girl before she leaves for good?
The chemistry between Reed and Lindsay is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

The Cabin Conspiracy part six.
A wonderful ending to the series. Reed likes his bachelor life just the way it is. He doesn’t do relationships anymore because he’s been lied too many times to count. Lindsay is in Alaska for one reason only: to fulfill her dying brother’s last wish. She doesn’t tell anyone that she’s here or why. Reed and Lindsay fall in love but, when he finds out the real reason she is there he feels lied to and walks away from her. Can his brothers knock some sense into him? He has to realize that she didn’t lie to him, she was protecting her brother. Welcome to the Lodge.

Reed is the last of the Harrison brothers mountain man. Reed is pretty jaded due to the relationships where there are so many lies. When he meets Lindsay he saves her from a Moose. Once they look at each other there is that instant connection. Lindsay hires Reed to take her to the glacer. She's only carrying out her brothers last wishes. She tells no one what she's about to do as it's illegal. This is a sweet, short, steamy, spicy, passionate story. Will Reed be able to forgive Lindsay for not telling him the truth about why they had to go to that glacer? I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved this short story. It was enjoyable and entertaining. The characters were relatable and likable. There was a little tiny bit of drama, but it resolves quickly. The relationship between Reed and Lindsay included lots of attraction. It was interesting how Reed wanted Lindsay to stop talking but wanted to kiss her at the same time. There was plenty of steam between them. Reed and Lindsay complemented each other perfectly. I'm sad to see the end of the series but happy that they all have their loves. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

This has been a great series about the Harrison brothers. Reed the final brother finds an unfortunate attraction with his latest client, at least in his mind all women are liars and not worth the trouble. But once he really gets to know Lindsay he may change his tune. A great ending to this fun series by Ms. Hart where each character is given the care and developed their own storyline of living in rugged Alaska and finding love.

This is the last book about the Harrison Family. I enjoyed them a lot. And the Landscape of Alaska. Reed is very suspicious about women. And he likes to be alone. But when Lindsay books a trip he is lost. Its another quick and enjoying read. Nice characters and the Alaskan nature make this book an escape from the word. The erotic moments are outside in the great nature and are fitting totally in the story. Not too much and with the flow of the story. Enjoy.

Last brother standing
What would you be willing to do to keep a promise to a loved one? Would you be willing to do something illegal? Would you risk your own heart? This is what Lindsay must figure out. Reed is the last brother standing(single) and he has no plans to change that fact. Then he meets Lindsay. Will her secret tear them apart?

It’s Reed’s turn, the last Harrison who is still single. He met Lindsay and literally tried to get away from her. Looks like our mountain guide is afraid of loosing his heart to our Ms. Sunshine. Too late though, he already did. Crossed fingers hoping that he won’t let his battered heart ruin his lovr

I enjoyed this whole series but Reed was my absolute favorite. The sex scenes were straight fire. Who would thought Miss Sunshine had it in her? Reed and Lindsay's story had me so invested. I could totally understand how they didn't want to disappoint the other.

Lindsay's brother was KIA in military service. She brings a portion of his ashes to Alaska to sprinkle on a glacier--a wish he had made known only to her in his family.
Reed is her guide for the hike; sparks fly immediately between them but he becomes incensed when he finds out by accident her purpose for the trip.

Loved it
Reed is the last brother to find love. He isnt having any of it. He meets Lindsey encountering a moose and is wowed by her. Except he refuses to admit it. Lindsey as a secret of why she is in Alaska. The secret of lie could destroy whatever wants if he's not careful. I loved all the books in the series. Each one touched my heart.

The last Harrison brother finds his forever but he was much more wary. We never rally find out if his determination to remain single was because of one female or several but Lindsay sure brings his walls down. This is quick, sweet, and rough. Great ending for the brothers.

Finally the last Harrison brother found his HEA.... at first not by choice😉 Lindsay and Reed met each other by chance, but they quickly fell for each other.😍😍 Sweet, romantic, steamy, safe and with a sweet HEA. 👍👍👍

Gruff mountain guide Reed has met him match in sunny chatter box Lindsay. She came to fulfil a promise to her brother but keeps her mission a secret. All the Harrison's are out to ensure Reeds future and save the grumpy guy. Loved the intervention the brothers staged. Great ending to the series.
