A curvy animal conservationist and a wildlife veterinarian find opposites attract when they work together to save the life of a majestic creature.

Taylor
Did you know it’s possible to fall in love with a muskox? Or a wolf? Or a deer? I fall in love with these animals every day as the caretaker of a wildlife reserve tucked away in the mountains. When one of them takes ill, I’m willing to do anything. Even ask for help from the one man who has always driven me nuts. But as we work together to save a life, I start to wonder if the things that have always driven me crazy might just be what I love most about him.

Gabe
Taylor and I have always clashed. But as we spend a night together saving the life of one of her animals, the walls between us start to fall. And once they’re down, I know I can't walk away from her. Now that we truly see each other for who we are, maybe there’s hope we can be friends. For my part, I’m hoping we can be much, much more than that.

Mountain Man Animal Rescue is a series of short, sweet, and steamy instalove romances about mountain men who have dedicated their lives to protecting the animal kingdom with the help of the curvy women who capture their hearts. HEA guaranteed. No cliffhangers. No cheating!

Gabe and Taylor knew each other from university before their fields of studies took them in different directions. They’re now working together again but what started as teasing and joking just might turn into something more. A great story set in Alaska with lots of scenery and wildlife. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Dr. Fancy Pants and the wildlife reserves impertinent curator....pure animal magnetism

GABE is the second book in the Mountain Man Animal Rescue series and it is the story of Gabe and Taylor. They met in undergraduate school for animal studies. There they had a more than a few debates and a bit of a prickly relationship. After graduation Taylor went on to graduate school and got her Ph.D while Gabe went to veterinary school. They both have ended up in Alaska with Taylor running a wildlife reserve in the foothills of the Alaskan wilderness and Gabe having jointed a veterinary practice which also deals with the animals on the reserve. Gabe and Taylor have continued their prickly relationship with her calling him Dr. Fancy Pants and him saying he is the only one who is a true doctor because he has medical training.
When Taylor calls for the vet to treat an injured wolf it is Gabe who shows up. During this visit Gabe sees a different side to Taylor than he is used to. It turns out that the injured wolf is one that Taylor bottle fed and has raised since she was a pup, so she is very protective of her like a mother for her child. Gabe decides to stay for a day or two to make sure that everything is okay, saying it is to help keep Taylor calm. But really he finds that he is very attracted to Taylor and now that she is single....well you get the idea. Taylor kicked her last boyfriend out after she discovered he has been flying to Anchorage for more than supplies. That was a year ago and since then she has sworn off men and concentrated on the animals. But when Gabe shows up looking all tall, dark, handsome and sexy in well fitting jeans, a tight flannel shirt, tousled hair and sexy glasses what is a girl to think....her traitorous body.

This is a well written, fast-paced and very entertaining book. The story-line has humor, drama, action, romance, a slight friends/enemies to lovers and a lot of steamy sexy passion. Gabe and Taylor have a great chemistry and witty and funny banter. But when things get serious they pull together to deal with the emergency before them. There is also a lovely Epilogue which fit their characters and relationship perfectly. I really loved this book and can't wait for the next in the series.

This is a good little series. Gabe and Taylor went to College together. They were friends but always had a love hate relationship. Taylor worked on the reservation with the wild animals. She always had a soft spot for them. Gabe being the vet for the animals. He had to come out there to check on one of the wolves that Taylor was very concerned about.
Still bantering back and forth. They decide to have a fun wager and at that moment they both realized they had feelings for each other.
They act on their feelings and then fall asleep, only to be woken up by a horrible dteam. After acting on the dream, it was Taylor's worst nightmare the fence around the wolves was done. The two of them worked together to get one of the wolves back and unharmed. After finding the wolf and getting in a crate to safety. Once back to safety, they continued with the relationship they started earlier. Happy that they finally became friend instead of enemies. While working together their family is growing.

Taylor works hard running an animal refuge in Alaska. She loves her job and she especially loves her animals. Who she doesn't love is the vet who comes by to check on the animals. Taylor and Gabe were at college together. He was always making fun of her and the fact she didn't go into veternairy medicine. Taylor would just love to take him down a per or two. Then on one visit he calls her on her attitude. She always thought he acted like he was too good to do the messy care of animals. Then he challenged her to a mucking out contest. She is surprised at how hard he worked and that he won. Later she gets to see him at his best when he fixes up one of the young wolves she loves.

Gabe has always felt like he was in competition with Taylor. The two of them have been sniping at each other for years. When she finally starts treating him like a friend, he realizes that he has always had feeling for her. Can he convince her to give him a chance?

Gabe and Taylor met originally in undergraduate school for animal studies. He became a veterinarian while she ran a wildlife preserve in Alaska which deals with rescued animals. Gabe and Taylor had a very prickly acquaintance and occasionally run into each other since he is in the practice that will help with the animals in Taylor’s preserve.

When Taylor needs to call the vet for her injured wolf she had raised since it was a pup, Gabe saw a different side of her in the nurturing and love she gave to the animal. When he decides to stay for a day or two, they have an opportunity to begin to feel their attraction to each other.

This is a good story line with humor interwoven in the story, which makes it very enjoyable. The two characters discover they can not only laugh together, but equally important, they can work together seamlessly to deal with whatever comes their way. Is there a HEA possible for them?

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Another one added to the series this is Gabe and Taylor’s adventure of their love for animals she with the wildlife side of things and he a vet and it is that love for animals that will bring them together. Gabe saw her as a little pushy with her own views on everything, but he found out he was wrong when they had to work to save one of their beloved animals he got to see another side one he didn’t know she had causing him to stop and do a double take and make the effort to get to know her better and the start to something amazing but will it last after they have saved the animal?

*Spoiler* Loved this book!! I admit I am loving these animal rescue books by Kate Tinley. Gabe is book #2 in her Mountain Man Animal Rescue series. I absolutely love you Ms. Tinley portrays these mountain men as hunky, caring and great lovers! Gabe meets Taylor in school and they gave friction from the start. Taylor thinks Gabe acts superior because he went on to become a veterinarian and she went on to get her PH.D and opened an animal rescue facility. When one of her animal get injured Gabe comes to help out. They both realize their attraction to each other goes beyond their love for animals. They both get their HEA!!

This is book two in the Mountain Man Animal Rescue series. It’s a hot, short instalove story. If you love alpha mountain men who have a soft side for animals then you’ll love this story. You don’t have to read book one to enjoy this book it reads as a standalone, but I do recommend it because it was a good story.

Gabe is a vet and Taylor runs the local animal rescue. They've known each other for years and have had this competition going between the two of them. They're attracted to each other but Taylor has been hurt before Plus there is the constant competing that’s gone on between the two of them. Can these two find a way into each other arms and make a relationship work?

Kate Tilney has become one of my must read authors and this book only adds to that distinction. Ms. Tilney knows how to grab onto her readers from the 1st page to the last with her amazing storytelling and world building. Her characters are so delightful that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Gabe and Taylor's story is one of semi friends to lovers and discovering that you really don't know someone like you thought you did. This story has everything that you could want: comedy, action, drama and of course hot romance (it is a Kate Tilney story after all). You will be sorry if you miss this gem of a book and the 2nd book in the Mountain Man Animal Rescue series! I received an advanced readers copy of this book and am leaving a voluntarily review.

Taylor loves her job at the wildlife reserve, the only problem is that she has to rely on a vet to take care of the animals and the vet that comes is someone she has butted head with while in school. Gabe love to push Taylor's button, she seemed to be the one person that could make him run for his money. When they finally call it a trues, they begin to realize that there is something more between them.

Taylor and Gabe have a love/hate relationship, the banter, competition and connection makes their story a delight to get lost in.

What is an muskox? Yes I had to look that one up and the are so cute in their own way.

Taylor works at an animal rescue in Alaska and is getting over a relatiosnhip where her ex cheated on her. Gabe has been interested in Taylor but never thought he'd have a chance and now that he new she was single he wasn't going to let her slip through his fingers. When he came to check on the animals he found a way to get Taylor to come out of her shell and they started bonding. Its not long before she starts looking at Gabe differently. Will she give Gabe a chance at her heart? Cane they have a future?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

These two met at school for animal studies. Gabe becomes a veterinarian while Taylor runs an animal rescue in Alaska. These two have a competitive relationship each thinking the other is better at what they do. Taylor needs Gabe to check out one of the wolfs that she raised and he finally sees with his eyes what's been in front of him this whole time. He decides to stay a few days and they start to work on their relationship. I love how it was there for all to see except them. Great storyline with wonderful characters. Entertaining, funny and heartwarming. I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Taylor works at the wild animal rescue and Gabe is one of the local vets. They have known each other since taking gen eds in college, but now sparks are taking hold of them during a visit with the wolf pack members. Things turn spicy later that night as they watch the wolves and get rained on as they race back for shelter. After a nightmare, they decide to check on the animals and find trouble. Love the tight bond between Taylor and Gabe, watching out for each other and their commitment to those they love. Loved the ending as the next generation is also taught to interact the right way.

Gabe by Kate Tilney is a wonderful addition to the Mountain Man Animal Rescue series and packed with interesting wildlife and engaging characters. Gabe and Taylor have known each other for years, but their careers took different paths, while still focusing on the care and preservation of our furry friends. Gabe is a story that has amusing banter, misguided opinions and eventually sees our sassy curator cave to the charms of the strapping rescue vet. Gabe was an easy and enjoyable read with so much substance for such a short story and one that is definitely going to be a favourite.

I really enjoyed this story by Kate Tilney. It's quick but perfect for a lunch hour read. I love this new series by her. I can't wait to read the next one. Gabe and Taylor have known each other from college. They both have a passion for animals. Gabe is a veterinarian while Taylor is a caretaker at a wildlife reserve. They have had an interesting banter since college. This time things are a little different when he comes out to the reserve. Will they realize that they were meant to be?

Gabe, the second novella in Kate Tilney's Mountain Man Animal Rescue, is a sweet and steamy romance. Though Gabe and Taylor have known each other since college, neither have been conscious to their attraction to one another until the veterinarian is called out to the animal rescue to look in a few of the animals. Gabe and Taylor's banter is highly entertaining and their mutual passion for animals combined with their off-the-charts chemistry makes this a very enjoyable quick romance read.

Taylor and Gabe have known each other since college. They both love animals he chose to be a vet and she chose to run an animal resereve/rescue. They dispose the other until that anger turns to interest and love. They are both stro g willed which is why it has taken so long to realize their true feelings. Will they be able to delve 8nto their new feelings for each other or is there to much animosity between the two? Great story and great characters with a HEA.

This is the second book on the Mountain Man Animal Rescue series, and focuses on Gabe, who we met in the first book.

Gabe and Taylor have a love hate relationship. They both went to school together and have been competing ever since. Taylor got her Ph.D and went on to open a wildlife sanctuary and Gabe went on to become a Vet. When Gabe is called out to Taylor’s sanctuary to tend to a hurt wolf, they start to see each other in a new light. This was a great story and who doesn’t love hot guys and animals.

An entertaining short about to people who met at college and became rather competitive, ending up as frenemies
Taylor became a conservationist, Gabe a veterinarian.
One day, when he is visiting her sanctuary to work on her wolves, things suddenly change between them and they start seeing the person and not the competition.
With a chase and a natural catastrophe the book is thrilling, romantic and fun to read, thanks to some of their animals.
A wonderful short novella, that is highly entertaining.

Wolf Cubs.
Awesome book. Gabe and Taylor have known one another for years. All they do is banter back and forth, its just their way. After getting caught out in a storm, they come together on a different level. Gabe wonders if they could be more than just Dr. Gabe and Dr. Taylor. Taylor doesn’t understand why her view of him has changed. Will they find their way to a HEA? Come to the Reserve and watch the action.

The author has pulled us into the lives of Gabe and Taylor and never lets go. They attended college together then went their separate ways, him to veterinary school and her to get her Ph.D. in animal studies. Now she runs an animal rescue while he is the vet that tends to them. However, this visit causes them to rethink their opinion of the other.

Another great story from Kate Tilney. The relationship between Gabe and Taylor was off the charts hot. They had chemistry neither could deny. They met in college but took different paths with Taylor earning a doctorate and Gabe becoming a veterinarian. But they're mutual love and respect for animals bringing them back together. After an amusing bet goes wrong, their arguing turns to passion. This was a quick and steamy enemies to lovers romance that I definitely recommend.
