Natalie grew up next door in a home as broken as mine. My childhood was hell and my father was the devil. I was nothing but fists, fury and rage. But Natalie...she was the lovely free spirit who danced barefoot, baked me cookies, and bandaged my wounds. When she ran away, she took my heart with her.
Now I’ve found her again. But I've changed. I'm the cold-blooded VP of the Twisted Devils MC. Vicious. Lethal. Deadly. She's too pure for a monster like me, but my black heart beats only for her. She still prefers flower crowns to leather cuts. But I’ll do whatever it takes to make her mine. There’s just one problem - the devil from our past who wants her dead.
Natalie wants to run again, to disappear. But there’s no way I’m losing her. So I take her captive. I'm keeping her. Safe. Mine. Forever. And I'll kill anyone who tries to take her from me.

I like striking stories. Romances, UF, PNR. Stories about men that move you, heroines with spines of steel, and villains that make your bones quake. Add in some sexual heat and a HEA, and that's what I try to provide.

This was a nice story. Two broken kids, Brewer and Natalie found each other and found solace in each other. Now years later, they have reconnected. This was an emotional read for me for half of the book.
It was interesting to see how Brewer and Natalie rebuild after years of not being around each other. We went from Natalie seeking out Brewer for help to a hostage kind of situation lol which was very interesting. Natalie was spicy, especially with her mouth. She definitely got a few chuckles from me. I like Brewer and his determination with Natalie.
Overall, I liked Brewer’s and Joyce’s story. I have not read the series, but can definitely be a stand-alone as I was not lost from lack of reading the series.
***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful.

Natalie is on the run for her life and knows there is only one person who can save her, the boy who left her behind all those years ago. When Natalie finally reaches Brewer, things get complicated as she refuses to divulge the reason that finally brought her back to him. Brewer won’t make the same mistake twice and he’ll get Natalie to talk one way or another, even if that mean handcuffing her to him until she opens up to him. Brewer knew Natalie was special from the first moment he saw her and her feisty take no sh*t attitude has her fitting right in at his MC, especially as she charms them over with her impressive cooking skills. Natalie can’t help but fall in love with Brewer all over again as they finally give into the passion blazing between them. But when the demons from their past finally catch up with them, Natalie will go on the run again as she tries to save Brewer & his club. With Natalie’s torturous screams ringing in his ears, Brewer with his MC brothers are determined to rescue her, but when the battle is finally over leaving them surrounded by death and destruction, will Brewer & Natalie be able to make it out alive?

this was an eh story for me. I think there are better stories within this series. Now I have to say that I did like the story but and I say this with all the love I have for this author.....I did not like that Natalie was so wishy washy. She made a decision and then in the same breath changed her mind. Brewer was a pretty good guy but he seemed to me that he just was not that into her. it was just the feeling I got from reading him. Now I say this with the information that they do have a history and i would not say it was a very good history but one that they can be redeemed. I really wanted to give this story a real shot but found it lacking compared to the others within the series. I found the writing and character development to be alright. would I recommend this book right along with this series. but please do not base the series on this one book. read the series because it is a phenomenal one and not to be missed!

This second chance romance of sorts was all kinds of frustrating to me. Natalie was desperate by the time she landed on Brewer’s/Abraham’s doorstep. In spite of that she immediately changed her mind and tried to leave. I got tired of her constant inner battle and lying to the one person she should have trusted. Painful horrible backstory for Abraham and his brother due to their psycho abusive and deranged father. The author did a great job with the initial scenes with Abraham’s mother that were emotionally heartbreaking. One of my favorite moments was Nat making chili and biscuits for Brewer and his club. The rest of the time I was frustrated with Nat’s waffling back and forth and dismayed at the painful bloody climax when Brewer finally took action after what I thought were too many losses.

**spoiler alert ***Abe was 6 and his brother was 3 their mother died but asked Abe to watch out for his brother but their father went and pitted them against each other. Made Carson hate him because of what their father made him do to Carson and had to go in the military so Carson wouldn’t be killed. But Natalie and he would meet under the apple tree and talked about their parents and how bad it was, he also told her that he would watch out for her but left and went into the military. Natalie saw something his father and brother did and was given a USB card, so she went to Brewer “Abe” to hide her but didn’t tell him why she showed up. They was working through problems but his family showed up and things happened badly. Had to rescue Natalie from his family did things to save her then she was finally able to follow her dreams and have Brewer too! Great book better than I thought!
Once again we are riding with the Twisted Devils MC and once again you are drawn into their world by the wonderful wring of Zahra I guarantee that you won't put this book down until you turn the last page
Abe(Brewer) came from a dysfunctional family his father was totally sadistic pitting him and his brother against one another once their mother died The only person who gave him any gentleness was Natalie the girl next door. He always promised her he would always protect her Now years later she is in danger after seeing and taking something she shouldn't and the only person she can trust is Abe but he is now Brewer the VP of the Twisted Devils but he will keep his promise after all she is the only woman he has ever loved. Can they have a future together and what happens when he realises the danger is actually his brother
This was probably my favorite of all! When you read a prologue and you feel like you might need a tissue, you know it's gonna get you! Brewer and Natalie grew up together, under the apple tree was their place. Natalie wanted to be a chef, against her fathers wishes, not good enough for him, and he makes her life miserable. Brewers mother was his light, but before she passed away she asked Brewer to protect his brother, he was only 6. And he found out in the worst way what she meant. That time under the apple tree saved them both. When things went bad for Natalie, she ran to Brewer, who she hadn't seen in years, but when she tried to run from him, he handcuffed her to keep her from running. Because she couldn't tell him why she was there. So much sadness and pain ensues, until these two can be together. I loved it!
Natalie is in desperate need of help and one man, or should I say boy was supposed to protect her at all cost. Brewer promised her as a kid nothing would ever happen to her. But will he protect her from his father and brother. Nat and Brewer came from abusive father’s and had only each. Years later she is hoping his promise to keep her safe was for real. She saw something she shouldn’t have, now she’s being hunted. Brewer is her only hope to stay alive.
There were a lot of errors in this book. Wrong word usage or missing words. Hopefully it goes through an proof reader again. With that being said, still a good story and easy read.

The book has action, suspense, drama, club business, some cheer worthy moments when Brewer and his MC brothers rescues Nat and takes care of his evil father and brainwashed brother and the crazy militia. The authors portrayal of the supporting characters is excellent and supports and elevate the plot. I enjoyed the book it was not my favorite in the series but I like this authors writing style.
As this is an MC book, some of the details in this book is dark and gritty and if you are a sensitive reader you need to avoid this book as the details of trauma and abuse and gory attacks are not pretty.

I chose this rating because this was a pretty great book. I really enjoyed most of all of the characters. This was a book of determination, vengeance, accepted, doing what's best for you, and also falling in love all over again. I enjoyed Brewer and Natalie story. The author did a great job with putting these two characters together. They even grew up together. They both also had to escape their past. These two went through a very disturbing past. But through it all they became stronger and better people. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.
Ms. Girard did a great job at the beginning of the book blending the past and the present. The reader is given a glimpse into how Brewer and his family began as loving and then the descent into beyond dysfunctional. I was immediately drawn into the story and couldn't wait to turn the page. The ending was where it lost a star rating. For the leaders being former military and now trained militia, I expected more action, but it was still a good read. I did have to question the book's publication date due to Natalie's ability to find a pay phone, have it work and only require a quarter.
Fantastic story. So much action, pain, danger, adventure, drama and steam. Natalie and Brewer grew up together and lived next door to each other. The both had abusive fathers and helped each other but still had broken souls. Then Natalie ran away. Years later Natalie is in danger and she runs back to Brewer. Brewer's not going to let Nat run again. He will protect her and keep her safe. Can he saver her from the danger, his father? I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Natalie and Brewer have a troubled history they share. There has always been a connection between them that time has not lessened. Brewer know that he cannot give her up this time. He will do whatever it takes to protect and care for her. Natalie is going to have to trust him. Her life and their future depends on it. This was a well written story with great characters

Oh my gosh, this book is heart wrenching! Brewer and Nat have such a twisted history, their story...wow...breaks my heart! You know you can’t pick your relatives and in both Brewer and Nat’s case that’s very sad. Luckily for them family doesn’t have to be blood and Brewer’s “brothers “ and their significant others area hoot! Love this series and these characters, they just keep getting better!

This story of Brewer and Natalie is the best in this series yet! The story was compelling, engaging and genuine. Natalie is a strong woman trying to protect her childhood friend while running for her life. Brewer feels so different as his tale unfolds and he's caught in a web of lies and deception while trying to live up to the promises he's made. A must read especially if you've read any of the other books in the series.
Brewer and Natalie are such an amazing couple. Painful pasts and present dangers combine with the sweetness of childhood friendship and intense desire to create a consuming read that had me fully engaged and avidly rooting for this couple. If you enjoy reads that can keep you on the edge, have your heart aching and give you loads of feels, you need to snap this book up right now. This is my candid, volitional review.
A best friends to lovers MC read that will take you on an emotional ride. Brewer and Natalie journey wasn’t pretty both coming from a broken home and finding each other was a plus. But forever wasn’t meant to be and fast forward to another meeting that will test them. Heartache, pain and a heat level worth fighting for makes this newest release a must read. I can’t wait for more of this exciting series that doesn’t disappoint.
Both Brewer and Natalie had bad childhoods and they helped each other through it as neighbors. Brewer promised to be there for Natalie. However, she runs and he is not around. When she needs his help will he be there for her or will she be on her own? This is a fast paced read with loads of danger and destruction. Will theu survive and find their way back to each other?

I've read other books from this author and they were good, this was not. I stopped reading around 30% and simply had no desire to put any more time/effort in. The h is truly unpleasant, reopening the childhood trauma the H suffered to "push" him into her desired course of action, and excusing her behavior with the guise of not wanting to break his heart. It may have gotten better, but I hated her too much too care.
Brewer is the MC second Chance romance between Natalie and Brewer who supported each other during their difficult childhood until she unexpectedly left. Years later, Natalie returns to Brewer for help since her life is in danger. Brewer and his MC Club helps her in their own fashion. This book has well developed characters and a great plot.

This series is the first by this author, and I've found I really like the style, however this book. The entire thing is no I cant, tell you the truth and yes I promise I will all the way to the end, even when its clear it should happen. I had a hard time getting thru this one and was ready to go to the next read. But I did finish. I really think this author could do better as all her other books in this series proves.
4* Brewer & Natalie were best friends growing up and needing each other, after all family life wasn't do good. However he left without carrying out his promise to her. The night her father dies she stumbled upon something she wishes never to have witnessed. Running she needs Abe but will he help her? Another enjoyable read in the series
I enjoyed reading this book. Brewer is the 9th book in the Twisted Devils MC series. The story was well written and had me sucked in at page one for an afternoon read. The couple had lots of chemistry. Loads of MC action.

Brewer and Natalie grew up experiencing bad childhoods. They were neighbors that turned each other. At one point she runs while he isn’t around. Now she needs his help.
This fast paced read comes with tons of danger and craziness. This was a very good tale!

Brewer, Twisted Devil's VP, and Natalie's story is next. Can you believe this is the ninth book in the series? Well, here we are and boy, what a story! We finally get the backstory about Brewer's life and what a tangled mess. Zahra Girard did a fantastic job of really providing background information while still keeping you immersed in the present. What a fantastic story!
This is the 9th book in the Twisted Devil’s MC Series but it can be read as a standalone. Neither Nat nor Brewer had good childhoods but they had each other. Now that she is in danger, she turns to Brewer to keep her safe. Will he and the MC succeed? Fast-paced, action packed read with plenty of twists and turns, drama and steam. I liked it.
While this was a dark romance, it was quite well done. Natalie certainly has a possessive man looking after her, but I think that it’s sweet how protective and possessive he is of her. It was a fun book to read

I loved that the author engaged my emotions almost immediately in this story. I didn’t necessarily like the female lead who seemed to create chaos in her life by bad decision making and it affected the people around her negatively. It was still an enjoyable story to read.
