What makes it the worst situation ever is not knowing how to swim when it happens. Fortunately, said hot guy doesn’t think twice before he jumps in to save me. Then he flashes me a dangerously beautiful smile that has me wanting to follow him to the ends of the earth. He says I’m his one, and all he wants is me. My only concern is how many ‘ones’ he has had before, and if I’ll be able to take the heartbreak if I’m not his last.

My guy, you need THERAPY. 😒 The OW flirting was just super unnecessary tbh.
While Clint (H) may still be a virgin, he spends all of his free time hitting on any woman he can while he's working at the resort. He likes the female attention but doesn't let it get further because his flirting is a "mask that helps keep people at a distance". Okayyyyyyy....
All of his brothers are surprised to hear that he is settling down since every woman with a beautiful body and face catches his eye and is sexually appealing for him. So he doesn't touch, but he enjoys the view and does flirt with almost every single woman at the resort and the bachelorette party (except he doesn't hit on the bride/ h's future SIL)
Prior to their meeting the h, Jana has to see Clint hit on and flirt with three different OW. She's very introverted and shy but she noticed him right away but didn't enjoy seeing that so she figured since it was a different woman each night he was with, he was just another playboy just kept her head down and minded her business.

It takes Clint 80% of the story to put Jana's insecurities to bed and let her know that the manwhore rumors are untrue, so she spends a majority of the story believing that she's catching community dick.

🚨H is a huge flirt but still a virgin so I would just characterize him as a playboy since he desperately needs female attention and lives off the female validation the resort provides
Lots of OW drama:
(1)h sees the H flirting with multiple OW in front of her throughout the weekend prior to their meeting
(2) One of the OW, Claire whom the H was flirting with the night before tells Jana's SIL that she hooked up with Clint the night before...the SIL uses this to make Jana feel bad/insecure but it's untrue
(3) H is characterized by his dead mother and all of his brothers as a man who can't keep his eyes to himself and is a shameless flirt as well as noticing how sexually attractive all of the OW
(3) The H does spend most of his time at work flirting or sexualizing OW as the office flirt/player
(4) The h's future SIL hits on the H in front of her hotel room door but he doesn't reciprocate

1.5/5🌟Found myself skimming and rolling my eyes, since their connection was so superficial. Clint let her think she was a temporary resort fling and didn't clarify the manwhore rumors for like 85% of the story so I find it hard to believe that Jana really could enjoy their time together since she believed she was still "one in a long line of many". It just really soured me toward him since physical appearance is the only thing he cares about with women and it strikes me as the wishy washy behavior that cheaters exhibit (if she's hot and I find her sexy, why not since I view all women as the same)

Love this series of stories
I kind of started out of order but I will go back to the first book soon. Loved Jana and Clint's love story. Good gosh, her future sister-in-law was a piece of work...wow. You really have to read the story to find out what she did. It's a good book. Written by Cindy :)

Love it!
Another great addition to the Outdoor Alphas series! Short and sweet with well developed characters and story line. Clint and Jana are so perfect for each other!!! Can’t wait for the next one!

Again this whole series has been great! Safe, no ow/om drama. Instalove sweet and short. Only thing that would make me truly happy is if they had epilogues.

Short and sweet! Absolute instalove. Clint is definitely Jana’s knight in shining armor - he rescues her twice from certain death. Jana absolutely blossoms into a sassy sweetheart with Clint’s love. It’s truly beautiful.

I loved Clint! I knew that he'd be my favorite from the last two books and sure enough he was! I also adored Jana! The two were perfect together!

I liked Clint and Jana's story better than the previous novella, but it was still just an average read.
Editing is still pretty bad, but I think each book is getting progressively better.
