Jiang Nian used to be an actress. One day, she died and became a quester for the Lord God. Her task is to collect aura of a female lead and prevent each world from collapsing.
It’s just that every time there is a lot of twists and turns, however, the most troublesome thing for Jiang Nian is that once the female aura rises to 60, it won’t rise anymore! What will Jiang Nian have to do to get a breakthrough?
I've never read such a shameless, money-grubbing, confident female lead, and I loved her!
The first two arcs were pretty entertaining because Jiang Nian has such a unique way of thinking. She wants to follow along with the story plot, so even though she outwardly does something, she's really thinking about how much money she's gaining or losing lmao. The third arc was my favorite because Jiang Nian turned the first two arcs into idol dramas that shocked the whole entertainment industry. That and her band of little brothers and how they had to scrape and beg for money to get funds for filming was HILARIOUS. I was laughing at almost every chapter!
The other arcs were pretty funny, too, but I'm sure some stuff got lost in translation since I was machine translating towards the second half of the book. If some kind soul finishes translating this book, I will definitely read it again because I love Jiang Nian and how her one true love is gold lmao.
it's another light read i finished this week. it's a feel good novel. not a lot of word building. not a lot of character development.
what i like about it is that Jiang Nan, the main character, had stayed true to her nature fron the first chapter to the last. Her true love is Big Gold. She's a cute gold loving person. There's just a positive aura around her.
i also like that there's really no male lead. i was expecting that the other comatose person in the VIP room is the male lead and he's the same person she was ending up with in every world. it’s just great that it's not like that.

Dnf @ chapter 20 Ish? The characters are as flat as cardboard and I don’t find the mc funny. She can be lacking common sense at times but honestly her interactions with the other characters just don’t hit the spot- the thing is, she’s the only one with a fleshed out personality while everyone else is one-dimensional. The worst part is that she’s not even that fleshed out; she’s basically just “I am lazy OHHH MONEY” which is fun and relatable the first time, but it gets stale quickly.
