A bit unnecessary - I read Fish Playing While Trapped in a Secret Room before this one, and it made sense without reading this lengthy prequel because there are enough references and explanations. But I did like it, as a character past history exploration. Ai Qing is an interesting character, and I like her.

I really dont know what to write about it .
I guess i like reading about e sports an stuff .


It was mainly a prequel but the time jumps were confusing and what with the FMC competing not competing not into e sports . And i really dont like the pull of Solo and DT .

But would continue the next or main books ,heard there is romance there.

Read while watching the show. Not my favorite since things tend to jump around a bit and not much is actively happening. However, it does explain things better and is helping my feelings towards the show. I wish the show had stuck to the competition types in the book more rather than change it completely to a robot competition.
