Near death experiences are a scientific reality. Scientific why they follow a pattern in all of them. Near death experiences are testimony that the dreaded death, the taboo behind dying, may be nothing more than proof that there is life after life. Some people may consider near-death experiences a fantasy. Others firmly believe it, because they have lived it. Faced with death, the medical community often attends testimonies that break all academic schemes. They are phenomena that occur as a consequence of a heart attack, a traffic accident, drowning or a military attack, for example. People who experience them report extracorporeal sensations, hallucinations, racing thoughts, flashes of light at the end of a tunnel, angelic songs and distortion of time. Before continuing I must clarify that in this book we are not going to fall into the mystical or religious interpretation that many want to give to these experiences, I am sorry but that is not an option, in this book we are going to talk about science and real cases.
